The residence was wonderful! My mother and I stayed for one day and it was extremely comfortable and so clean. Everything we needed was present. And the location was amazing. So close the city centre. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rovaniemi. Absolute value for money.

This is not a big miss at all, but it would have been nice to have some slippers to wear inside the room.

Keys were kept in the box outside each room. Main door password and Room door passwords were provided in detail and within early time on arrival. Didn't require to call anyone. Smooth and effortless check in and check out process. Property Owner / Manager were very approachable, helpful and caring. Would love to stay again.

It was difficult to find and figure out the garbage drop area. Maybe a map showing the route or location to the garbage drop building would be a good idea. A clothes dryer would be very helpful as we do not have to dry clothes on clothes line or stand.

We stayed in the Penthouse apartment and found it to be very comfortable, clean, and especially well decorated. A lot of the kitchenware and decoration of the apartment reminded us of pieces that we saw a couple of days earlier in the Museum of Design in Helsinki. The building is conveniently located near a shopping center and a decently sized supermarket open 24/7. The apartment's kitchen is fully equipped. The private sauna inside the bathroom is another nice perk. Although it is a self check-in apartment, our host Alexei was very responsive and went out of his way to help us on multiple occasions, making the whole experience smooth and hassle-free. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay there again if we ever come back to Rovaniemi.

Nordica Design Residence is conveniently located in the city center, walking distance to several restaurants, souvenir shops and K-Supermarket. There is a bus stop right opposite the apt, and you can wait for a bus that’ll take you to Santa Claus Village/airport/railway station and few other places. There are several bus providers, you can get the bus ticket directly in the bus - payment through cards are available. Alex, our host contacted me via email before we reached Rovaniemi and gave all the instructions to check in. Finland practices a sustainable way of disposing waste. There is a clear instruction in the apt itself and you need to sort it before taking it to the waste containers. The ap includes a washer, and a drying rack is also provided. Clothes dry effectively with the apartment’s heating system. Kitchen is fully equipped, we managed to prepare some simple meals during our stay. Overall we had an amazing stay here!

We've stayed 1 night at Nordica Design Residence during our Lapland trip. If you would like to stay in an apartment and have a "local" experience, I believe it's literally THE BEST option available. We've stayed at many different hotels/flats during our visit, and we really enjoyed Nordica Design Residence. The flat was really clean & comfy with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Sauna was also good to have after long and cold day. It's also within walking distance to many restaurants and 5 mins driving distance to Santa's Village. Overall, I think the apartment was even better than the photos and I will definitely suggest this place to my friends & family!! Note: We unfortunately forgot our Gin&Tonic at the fridge :) I hope next visitors will enjoy it! :)

We wholeheartedly recommend this property. It was everything we hoped for and more. The check in process was well explained and easy, and went without a problem. When we stepped foot into the apartment, the first impression was phenomenal. The property was light and airy, very clean and exceptionally decorated in the festive spirit of the area, even with its own little Christmas tree which really got our trip off to a festive start. The kitchen area was well equipped with plenty of equipment including a Dolce gusto coffee machine and a selection of coffee pods. There was a comprehensive welcome pack which told us everything we needed to know, including the details of the WiFi which was speedy with a good connection. There was a good sized smart TV in the room with the ability to sign into our own netflix, Disney, Amazon prime accounts etc. As well as the ability to use a variety of satellite channels. There was a cute dining area, plenty of space for clothing and luggage and the bathroom was great. Even the little details had been thought of, such as sanitary products in the bathroom cabinets and fabric conditioner for the washing machine in the cupboard. The apartment was in a very quiet complex, the beds were extremely comfortable and the property was nice and warm, so we had a great night's sleep. The apartment was in a great location just a few minutes walk from the city centre. There is a lift in the building so we didn't have to lift our luggage up all the stairs. This property was perfect, we would definitely stay again.

We loved everything! The only improvement would be to include in the welcome pack some instructions on how to use the heating. But honestly this place is perfect!

Very nice apartment, very clean, communication with the owner was excellent. Location was very convenient close to the shops, restaurants, there is a small hill for sledging right outside as well as ice rink, also a very short taxi ride to ski a resort. I would highly recommend this place.

location : 3mins walk to supermarket city center. Bus stop no.8 just accross the street. Good restaurant nearby. facility : fully equipped kitchen and dinnerware. Tablets for dish washer and washing machine are also prepared for us. Tea, coffee, sugar, salt, even pepper are available. Check in instruction is super clear. Room condition is clean and exactly like the picture shown.

Clean cozy apartment with everything you need. Perfect for spending one night in Rovaniemi. Convenient check-in as we arrived from a late flight and the key was in a locker.

Normally the cleaning is included in the price, but there the guests need to take the trash out and wash the dishes (or it would be 10 euros extra). A bit unusual, but not a big deal overall. Reminds me of a private AirBnB rules.

If clients check in early, the host should be able to store the luggage closer. It's not convenient to walk with the luggage all over the place with kids
