We stayed in a private room with private bathroom. Not in the dorms. Cafe Koti is in an amazing location. Right near everything in the city center. Everything we needed was within walking distance. It was easy to catch a bus to Santa Claus Village, which was the only thing not in walking distance. We were even able to walk to the train station when we left. The staff were so friendly & helpful. We were able to check in a bit early. We were also able to store our luggage when we arrived, and after we checked out. The breakfast was very good. A nice selection of items. Everything from freshly baked bread, hard boiled eggs, cold cuts, cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, granola, cookies, coffee & tea. There were other food and drink options available for an additional charge, but we were very happy with what was offered. The room was a nice size for our needs. The beds were comfortable. There was a sauna near our room. The 3rd floor had a common area and shared kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

We have no complaints. We liked everything about our stay.

This hostel is clean. The crew carries out daily clean-ups. The reception is welcoming. Everyone speaks English. The beds are decent, not really made for tall people. But it's a dorm, not a luxurious castle. The bedsheets, and blanket were clean. Lockers are available to store your bag/ precious belonings. The people were kind and it was easy to make new friends.

The hostel gives you a discount (-10%), which is not that much if you stay for 10 days. Besides that, at one point the fridge got cleaned and everything got thrown away. It's understandable, yet my carton of milk did not get refunded.

The location was great! Walking distance from meeting points for the tours and a 25 minute walk from the railway station. Most of the other locations for the sights and activities are a 10-15 minute ride. The breakfast was simple but good enough. The rooms were very clean and the facilities were well thought of. We got clean blankets and pillows and towels on arrival and a locker. The entire floors required a card to enter, so no outsiders could come inside.

Nothing special comes to mind. Only one of the bathrooms smelled a little. But there were 3-4 toilets on each hallway so no problem because the other were nice and clean.

everything in general , location , food ,sauna, easy way to go inside , the rooms are really nice , the staff they are really helpful and open to any situation we ask for, everything is clean , plenty toilets and showers rooms, the sauna its a huge plus, even the clean ppl witch they clean our rooms he was great and very helpful I ask for a topper bc I felt the bars of my bed and he very kindly put it on the top of my bed, 100 of the 100.

sadly the bed was very uncomfortable , you can feel the bars , so its better if you guys try to change the beds and it feel very week when you try to go to the top if you are sleeping above of the bed , but the rest was great .

Location is walkable distance the city center, close to the bus stop to Santa Claus Village and the Airport. Breakfast in the package is awesome delicious. Friendly staffs that gave us the suggestion for travelling around. Properly is clean.

The breakfast time at the weekend start at 8am while start at 7am for the weekday. We have to miss the breakfast we love on Sat morning because have to catch the flight but that's not the big deal. In the share kitchen, I suffered with the irresponsible guests who made their food exploded in the Microwave, occupied the stove like their own asset, didn't close fridge tightly. There are always chances in the hostel of meet these annoying guests. But I'd be great if the hostel assign staffs to regular visit the public kitchen to keep peace.

It's exceptionally clean, safe, and generally provides good value for the money. - Eat dinner at the nearby Pure Pizza 🍕 or Pure Burger 🍔. The restaurants seem to share a common kitchen. Pictures posted below. - Avoid the nearby karaoke club, Roy's Bar. No bueno. - Instead, at the nearby People's Pub, ask the friendly blonde bartender if you may have a slice of FREE carrot cake 🥕 🍰 (w/ milk!) at Kansankatu 15, 96200 Rovaniemi, Finland. - Important: When ordering a drink, ask for the "yellow sticker" discount! What an incredible hostel - definitely not your usual hostel. The beds were fantastic - the staff were outstanding. The sauna time was super handy and at a great time! I was amazed how close this was to everything - I didn't even need a car whilst there, it was easy to walk or catch a bus. I couldn't believe how close it was to everything! If I could give it 100/10, I would! I hope to return to Rovaniemi one day, and if I do, I will definitely stay here!

The hostel was right in the town centre minutes away from an airport bus stop and main supermarkets. Kitchen was well equipped with a kettle, coffee maker and a microwave. The fridge was big enough to fit everyone’s groceries (we went in March, not sure how it is in the high season). There were enough showers and toilets so no waiting time. These were all super clean and shower was hot and amazing. There is a socket in the bathroom to plug in a hairdryer etc. The room (we slept in a dorm) was spacious and lockers were provided together with a key, so no need to bring your own padlock. Towels and super clean bedsheets were provided. The beds were extremely comfortable and very very clean. There are 2 sockets by the bed and also a reading light. The hostel is very well maintained and we would stay there again.

The staff at Café Koti was very friendly. They even offer a free sauna session for one hour per day (females - males seperated) which was why I booked at this hostel. They also have a nice café downstairs which I couldn't use (because I had to leave very early) but it looks really welcoming!

There is not so much privacy within the dorm. It did not matter to me that much as I was there alone but if the dorm had been full, it would have been nice to have a curtain or sth like that for the own bed.

Loved the sauna time and the fact that there is a special time for women and men. Love the breakfast buffet, price is reasonable and quality good, the homemade bread excellent. Love the location, just few steps from the river ! beautiful walk. Functional kitchen and smiling staff.

Bunkbeds are a bit too light, so whenever the person below moved, i could feel it straight. It might be good to invest in heavier bunkbeds. But mattress are comfortable enough, so all good still. Maybe good to add some curtains for some privacy. If it is your firstime in dorms, make sure to bring earplugs and eyemask ;)
