- Breakfast was awesome, make sure you try the apple muffins. - Generally, the food on-site was lovely - The room size was small but felt cosy. Although ideal for a 3-night trip - The views were stunning and very picturesque - make sure that you go on a nighttime walk to the look out tower! - Treatments at the spa were okay (I had a facial massage and my partner massage), the spa had only just opened the day before we arrived.

There wasn't a shuttle service to the main town and back. The location to town wasn't too far but without a car, this was a minimum £55 round trip every time, something to bear in mind with planning and costs. There are lots of cute restaurants and shops in town and so we found that we went there daily. I had read in advance that a shuttle would be available however every time we called to book this we were told it wasn't available and that we would need to get a taxi, had we known this in advance I would have considered a car rental.

Where do I even begin!! This was a bucket list hotel for us and it exceeded our expectations, we cannot wait to return! Hotel staff were excellent and super friendly and accommodating. Loved that they will alert you if they see any auroras. We were lucky enough to randomly wake up during the night and see the northern lights from our bedroom window. Loved the option to have valet pick and drop off from your room to the hotel/ restaurant (this was exceptionally helpful as there was lots of snow during our stay) The reindeer tour from the hotel is definitely something we enjoyed. We wanted to support the local Sami people and were so glad we went with a small traditional reindeer farm rather than the more touristy reindeer tours you can do. The restaurant was amazing! The food was great and so was the breakfast buffet. We LOVE this hotel and we will most definitely return.

The staff was excellent. This is true of the font desk, restaurant and cleaning staff. The breakfast was outstanding. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. The sauna experience was terrific.

Room temperature is controlled from a central computer and can't be adjusted from the room. Even though the outside temperature was very cold, the room at night was too warm for sleeping. There is too much light pollution. The prime draw of the hotel is the chance of seeing the northern lights, but the property has too many lights that are never extinguished. We did have some aurora activity, but they were hard to see.

Super expensive for the standard it is. It’s a 4 star for a 5 star price. Hotel looking a little tatty, dusty reception desks, letters missing off signage. Wine bottles in room dusty also. I felt the glasshouse suite - whilst lovely, was really quite small given the price. Especially the bathrooms and bedrooms.

Location, views, food in restaurant, room interiors and the way they look from the outside, photographic hotel, very easy to access, activities are nice

Rooms are very small. Only one restaurant so you might get bored. No great place to sit and chill. It is either reception which is a very small lobby, or restaurant. This hotel needs a seperated fireplace and relaxation area, bar and a coffee place. Staff and service overall was not super, they do not go above and beyond to help you, they are just kind and nice, and applying whatever their rules/procedures are. Spa is overpriced with no special vibe/service, just skip it

It was a very nice hotel! the staff were the highlight for me, they were amazing and really made this experience extra special. The hotel was beautiful and I really liked the general design and layout. Beautiful with the snow. The complimentary chocolates were beautiful and I really wish I could have purchased a larger box of these.

In honesty it's VERY overpriced for what it is and we just left feeling a bit cheated. We had to leave one of our cases in a room with reception as it wouldn't have fitted in the room. Bathroom was super small. Floodlight was left on outside the room every night, which did ruin the view - we also just found it a little contradictory, as they shut the hot water off after 30 mins to keep the 'sustainable message' and also ask you to reuse towels to save on water, but keeping flood lights on all night is ok? At over £700 a night I just don't want to rush in the shower or feel that I need to reuse a towel. Sorry to be really brutal but I think at this price point I really have to be.

Very nice atmosphere.

- we found hair from other guests on the floor of our room and also used eye contact lenses on the night stand - Awfully slow restaurant. We waited for our food for 2 hours and were told by some other guests that they experienced the same and not even on the same day.

Clean atmosphere and surroundings, super comfortable room , great view outside, creative glass/treehouse. All sorts of toiletries, bathing gowns, slippers, umbrella, torch, and lots of towels were provided too. A beautiful bunk bed was there too. Extremely good staff. Kind, cooperative, and at our service. A car drops and picks up from the treehouse and vice versa. Lavish breakfast and customised service . Staff coming and inquiring if we needed something. It was season end, with very few guests still the staff was attending us and made customized food, even with the lavish buffet breakfast. Rakas restaurant ❤️🎈 We got an early check-in and late check out. Thanks to Elisabetta, Sofia, Krystal, Buddhini, Theo, Habib, and the restaurant personnel. Will surely visit again 😊

Though it was a room with a kitchen, very few utensils were provided. All cutleries but no knife. It's just a small pan and tea pot. Maybe good for boiling noodles, eggs, and pasta. For one night's stay, it was ok. But the whole purpose gets lost if you are there for a few nights and think you can cook yourself as you are booking a room with a kitchen.

Rooms could be bigger. Location at the end of the runway of the airport and beside the highway make the hotel noisy as soon as you leave outside

Clean beautiful peaceful. The staff goes over and beyond to help you out and provide everything you ask for. On the premises they use what’s app where you send your request from booking a table to their restaurant, transfert from the cabin to the reception booking a taxi etc.. very easy access (10-5 min) walk from your cabin to the reception the airport is less than 10 minutes away and yet it is extremely peaceful. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a romantic get away or if you need some tranquility or around Christmas with the kids as the Santa Claus village is near by.
