Stayed in a very clean, warm, well furnished apartment. Great facilities available at the Santasport Resort for families including a play centre and swimming pool. Great base for exploring Rovaniemi & surrounds, taxis always available via Meneva app.

Location was nice for us, we liked the walk into Rovaniemi city for adults. Rooms were spacious and clean and well appointed with all you need including drying cupboard and even sauna in one of our rooms. Swimming pool and soft play very clean and nice, awesome to have inside options with kids to escape the cold. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was great. Also a supermarket in walking distance

Some people may prefer to stay right in the city of Rovaniemi for ease of buses and public transport but we quite liked being near the forest.

Staff were great, spoke fantastic English and were happy to help with all our questions. The room was large, spacious and clean. The restaurant has the best minute-steak meal ever!! Yum! The breakfast was amazing, so much variety, healthy and delicious. Also a great gluten free bread and options available. Facilities were all-round clean and in great condition, and they had highchairs in all eating areas for the toddlers. The funpark for fun for the toddler!🤩

For those without a car: It's a bit far from city centre, the taxis (even Bolt) is expensive to travel back and forth each time. It just adds up... and unfortunately there is no airport transfer bus. 15min from Santa's Village cost 40 euros: one way.

This hotel was amazing, breakfast was lovely, a lot of choice , from hot and cold options Room was lovely however we had a kettle but no tea / coffee options, (this would have been nice ) same in bathrooms, limited supply ( the added extras make a big difference) We had family stay at the same time in a larger room and their facilities and additional extras were amazing 👏 Only thing I didn't like was we only had one very slim pillow but we made due with extra jumpers under it to make it bigger and more comfy Our room was lovely and warm as it was January when we stayed and quite cold outside. Taxi service was good , reception desk would usually call for a taxi 🚕 and the santa village is about 10 min drive from hotel. Hotel has an amazing pool and kids area and the bowling alley was a great addition too The restaurant closes quite early at 7 but then the bar serves food and drink till later so that was good as we were late eaters. Overall hotel and holiday were FAB!!!

Lovely hotel. Arrived early and our room, luckily was ready, so was able to check in and settle in. There were free hot chocolate & coffee sachets. The room was warm, had a drying cupboard, kettle, dishwasher, fridge.

Housekeeping I felt was a little early. Always came around about 9.15/9.30am. It allowed me to check in early. However, breakfast doesn't finish until 10am so, you could technically be eating breakfast whilst your room is being cleaned. It would suit early risers or those with young children. My kids are teens, so they are not fond of waking up up early andnI therefore had to keep turning the housekeepers away.

Everything was very clean. The rooms were modern and spacious, lots of storage, and the kitchen area was well stocked with all the utensils needed. Breakfast had a wide variety of foods. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff were lovely and even put the dishwasher on for you! We had a lovely stay at this hotel and will be recommending it to anyone who is thinking of staying in the area. We even got to see the northern lights from our balcony!

If I had to say anything it would be that this is a working sports complex, and the times for the swimming pool access , and soft play are limited as they open for the public to use separately than the hotel guests.

rooms were lovely, i would have liked more gluten free options at breakfast ie cereal - not everyone likes porridge oats as we have oat allergy also. The chef in the bar was excellent, so efficient and really looked after us especially as there was 21 of us came in at once. food was excellent. loved that the kids had the pool, play area bowling etc to keep them entertained. excellent hotel and facilities. would definitely recommend. rooms had dryer for clothes which is ideal. supermarket is 15 min walk. We were right next door to ice hockey arena and got to see a game which was a bonus. Luggage storage is a bonus after checkout.

gluten free selection at breakfast, there was no cereal options for me just porridge which i dont eat. there was fruit and bread, salad, bacon, cheeses so i suppose it a matter of what you like really.

This hotel offers excellent value in Rovaniemi. Clean, simple rooms. Super friendly staff. Good breakfast. Great facilities including a pool with hot tubs, but also - at additional cost - a big kids play area, bowling, and all kinds of sports and/or equipment. They also have a restaurant with simple meals like burgers and chicken, etc. - good simple food at very fair prices. Great location if you have a car (parking available), but you could manage without a car too. You can walk to an observation tower just nearby if aurora forecast looks good - we saw amazing auroras here - no tour or car needed if the sky is clear. Honestly, if you are a family traveling with kids, I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Rovaniemi.

The hotel rooms are clean and spacious with helpful and approachable staff/ receptionists. The male receptionist was very accommodating and helped me a lot to coordinate with the tour company I booked for when I learned that the tour company will not be picking our group up at Santasport. The female receptionist was very quick to help us book our taxi back to the airport and knowledgeable enough to answer all my inquiries. Both receptionists' professionalism made us feel welcomed as though the favors I asked for were minimal, they made us feel like the issues I had especially with 1 tour company was easy to handle.
