The breakfast was very good - cooked breakfast made to order with additional pastries/cereal available. The hotel is quaint with friendly staff and our room was very nice - modern and fresh looking with all the amenities needed. Ample parking available in front of the hotel with garden to the side and back. There is a real sense of community within this village with a few pubs and restaurants within walking distance and a lovely village store run by the local community.
Nothing negative to say

Breakfasts were excellent. There was a wide choice and everything we ordered was well cooked and presented. The garden is a lovely place to sit. The room itself was comfortable and relatively quiet.
We weren't so keen on the brand of tea used (we only ever drink the famous one from Yorkshire). Also, and this is my only real criticism, the shower base was slippery when wet and there was no rubber mat. At over 80, I am not so steady and was scared of slipping over.

A charming hotel with bags of character. It is a little frayed around some edges but I would much rather stay somewhere like this than some sterile box. The food I had was superb. I had a chicken and Chorizo pie for an evening meal and it was superb and breakfast the next day was outstanding. Staff were really friendly and obliging.
Two very small criticisms which would not put me off returning. The first was that the staff seemed a little overstretched - that said they were unfailingly cheerful and helpful. I would also just suggest that the carpet in my bedroom could have done with a quick VAX as there were some marks which I'm sure could have easily been removed.

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help me get the most out of my break. The breakfast menu was superb with a wide number of choices. I had the Eggs Royale the first day, which were perfectly cooked and presented and the Full Sussex Breakfast the next day, which again could not have been cooked better. I was supplied with a pack lunch to my specification and a flask of tea for my walk up to Chanctonbury Ring, one of two Iron Age forts in the area. The room was comfortable and warm. The bathroom was clean and the towels were fluffy. The windows had sturdy plastic slatted blinds that blocked out most light, very useful in the morning. I had an evening meal served in the bar, which again was excellent and from a varied menu. Sophie, Kate and Mathew were excellent hosts and very responsive to guests needs.
The electric shower in the bathroom was a bit feeble but there was a shower attachment fed by the mains hot water that you can use to supplement it. This is the only reason that I didn't give full marks to the facilities and comfort.

Location was great. Only 10 minutes from Worthing/family and away from noise so very quiet at night and in the morning. Best of all was how accessible the lovely large garden was from our bedroom with our dog. Able to sit out in the evening and morning to enjoy the stars and the morning sunshine. (We got lucky with the weather!) Very friendly, helpful staff and lovely breakfast away from the other guests so we could relax with our dog.
The only minor comment I could make for consideration was the hotel seemed a little bit tired. The shower in our room wasn’t high enough to properly get under and the fittings / decor a bit disjointed / mismatched. Just thought a little extra attention to detail could take the hotel to the next level. Saying all that, we loved our stay at Findon Manor and hope to stay there again sometime.

We recently stayed for our wedding nights. I used the suite to get ready in the morning - the staff could not have been more helpful. The water pressure in my room was not up to par so they immediately helped me utilize a different room. Every member of staff we met was so helpful and went so far in making our stay feel special. Our three year old daughter stayed with us, and was made to feel so welcome at every turn. The Findon Manor is a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. And although some aspects are perhaps a little tired (and the water pressure could be better) we will definitely recommend and look to stay again!

Location, value for money and friendly helpful staff. The food was delicious and the room was pretty and chic with a quirky bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast delicious (especially Doreen’s black pudding)!! Despite the reason for our visit (family funeral), we enjoyed our stay immensely.
Some of the common areas looked a bit worn and in need of a refresh, but otherwise the hotel was a pleasure to stay in.

Beautiful old Manor House in lovely location
The restaurant , very much let it down. Really basic & unwelcoming & not even tablecloths for the evenings. Food was excellent, but the evening we ate there a wake was being held in the garden & all the guests kept walking back & forwards through the restaurant making a lot of noise, to get to the toilets….

Home cooked breakfast was excellent, followed by toast if wanted. Cereals, croissants panstries, all available. Room was cosy with a large double bed (bigger than a Kingsize, I would say) which gave us a good nights sleep. Tea and coffee facilities. Large bathroom that you went a couple of steps down into. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Bus route very good, so we left the car in the hotel's car park somedays and took the bus to the coast.
Unfortuntely, the mirror behind the bath did get splashed when showering. I overcame this by kneeling down in the bath, however my husband was unable to knee, so the mirror did get wet. Apart from this, everything else was good.
