I stayed at this hotel two weeks ago. I really liked the staff — they were very friendly and helped me solve my problems. The accommodation was in a shared house, with a shop nearby

One of the downsides was that when I chose this hotel, I specifically paid attention to the fact that it offered parking spaces. However, when we arrived, it turned out there were none available. I would have preferred to know this in advance, since the hotel only has 16 parking spots in total, and it’s quite a large hotel. Out of these 16, one was reserved for disabled guests, so in reality the number of available spaces was very limited

When we arrived and the staff realised that I use a walking stick, they assigned us an accessible room. This was greatly appreciated. The location, at the top of a very steep hill makes walking in the area a challenge if you have mobility issues. The location also affords great views over Lyon.

There is a park adjacent to the hotel where music festivals are held on public holidays. The first night was quite nice, but the second night the genre of music was annoying. The good thing about the festival is that it was packed up and gone by about 10 pm.

The cleanliness of the room and the facilities were very good.

"When we arrived at 3:50 p.m., the reception staff refused to hand over the room, saying it wasn't ready. Their approach was completely unprofessional, and as a former hotel manager, I have never seen such an amateurish attitude."

Room was larger than expected with good facilities - shower with folding seat, fridge, micro, toaster, coffee perculator, kettle and dishwasher Breakfast reasonable choice. Reception staff helpful. Down hill walk to Hotel de Ville, Louis Pradel for buses and metro then onto Place Bellecourt, the two rivers and the old town. Food shops, cafes near by.

The residence should provide : some washing up liquid and cloths as alternative to dishwasher for small amounts of dirty dishes/cutlery; additional waste bags to deal with cans/glass/food waste. Would have appreciated some advice in the location description that the residence is on a hilly site and to avoid the walk up the many flights of steps from eg the C6 bus stop Ponte de Lattre

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was clean, location is only 20-25 mins away on foot (slow walk) from Vieux-Lyon and other interesting areas. There's also a lot of shops and grocery stores nearby if you want anything. Overall, good value!

The elevator was not working during my stay, so I had to carry my (heavy) suitcase up and down 50 stairs alone. Breakfast was basic, I tried it the first morning only and chose to eat out instead. Not a lot of veg options. Although the location is great, it's up a very steep hill, so if you have luggage, better take a taxi, otherwise, you will struggle

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I liked having a kitchenette in the room, especially the refrigerator and microwave. I found the hotel and my room to be very clean.

Some paper towels or a dishcloth and a small amount of dish washing soap in the kitchen would be helpful. There was a note over the sink requesting to wash the dishes before leaving but it was not possible as there was nothing provided with which to wash. There were no instructions for the dishwasher and it would not turn on.

The hotel is located very close to the city center of Lyon. You can park directly in the courtyard of the hotel (the number of spaces is limited), but even we came late on Saturday, we found a place there. I recommend to ask about your room, as some rooms (like mine) had a wonderful views at the Rhone river. In the room, there is also TV, fridge and small kitchen.

Everything was fine, only a small issue: I missed a dish towel in my room :-)

The hotel was situated excellently albeit at the top of a bit of a steep walk! Centre of Lyon was a quick walk away. The room was clean, furnished nicely and the bed was extremely comfortable!

We found it hard to enter the complex late at night as there was a sliding metal gate that closed the area off. After a confused walk towards what we thought was a back entrance we returned and found the gate was open. Not sure why the gate was closed in the first place.

Room was well equipped with small kitchen. Clean and comfortable. Fantastic views from our window and very quiet at night time. Good location in walking distance of great bars/restaurants

Room is located halfway up a very steep hill so not suitable for the unfit. Rooms very hot at night.

Good location and lovely staff. I liked that it had kitchen facilities and that I had a clean albeit small room to myself.

Kitchen had no utensils (I.e. knives, forks, wooden spoons or chopping knives…etc) yet had pots and pans. Also, no detergent for the kitchen either yet there is a note asking for you to clean up after yourself and to take out the garbage! Unacceptable! Also, I didn’t mind taking the stairs, however if you are someone who needs a lift to get around, this isn’t the place for you.
