Very cozy room. When you enter it, you feel at home. Very friendly staff. Despite the fact that when booking it was indicated that there was no elevator in the building, the employee himself offered to take our suitcases to the 4th floor. Excellent location, in the center. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away, 2 metro stations nearby. It was clean and warm. Great experience.

Obviously not the hilton or four seasons, but met all my needs as a solo traveller who's still in uni. Clean, safe, located in the middle of the city, got all I needed. Wish there were more hotels like this.

There was a massive fan in the room but no A/C -- visited late June so it was boiling.

A very old cosy hotel, in a good and lively neighbourhood, very friendly and helpful service. More like a more private hostel than a hotel, but a good value for one night.

Everything is tiny, there room, the bathroom, the stairs. Good for one night, but would be uncomfortable for a long stay. The house is very old and a bit run down, but it adds to the atmosphere.

Nice quiet hotel right in the city center. I got exactly what I expected for the price they offer. The room was clean and quiet with a nice view to the street. The personnel is very nice and kind. The location was perfect for me.

The rooms are old but for me it was ok, it created an atmosphere like in old French movies :)

Good value for money , individual room in the city centre. The building seem to have a long history. walls and decoration look a bit old but I like that, it still feels like it was classy in the good old days, . Although not really a "all you can eat" buffet for breakfast, there was enough food to have a good start and go ,with bread, mini-croissant, cheese , jam , different kinds of cornflakes and orange juice, and you can watch the street from the breakfast room.

Location was great! Very central and safe. Close to everything or a short subway ride away. The room was small but I was only sleeping there, so it was fine. It was a bit hot but there was a fan, which was useful during the night. Clean room. Minimal but perfect for a short stay. I was happy with it.

Excellent small hotel right in the old center of Lyon .Excellent service, pleasant personnel and a good breakfast for a very low price. Recommended to all who prefer quality above high hotel prices in the center of Lyon!!

All was perfect

Small cozy clean room for one person. I felt very comfortable and at ease in this hotel. It is very clean and pleasant here, even though the hotel has one star. I was very surprised by the cleanliness of the room, the location and the friendly staff.

location - in the city centre but without noises from the street. unfortunately I can here everything from my neighbours (the walls are so tony that I had felling that someone wants to open my door). staff was very friendly

very small shower (and I am slim), it would be useful to refresh the rooms (holes in the walls), towels or hair dryer could be in the room (there are available but you must ask in the reception). I knew this things because I have read all the comments.
