The room was much more spacious than we were expecting and since my partner is 6‘4“ tall, we appreciated a king size bed! The location was fabulous – very close to a metro stop, lots of restaurants, boulangerie, points of interest, and shopping. The hotel staff was very responsive, spoke excellent English, we’re very friendly, and made an excellent recommendation to a creperie we especially enjoyed. We were on the third floor – which is the fourth floor for Americans – so I appreciated the elevator which fit two people and luggage or just three people. We used the air-conditioning just a little bit and that also worked fine.

My partner was quite disappointed that there wasn’t any kind of dresser. At least two racks for suitcases would help. I would’ve also appreciated a mini fridge in the room. There is a refrigerator that you can use by taking your things to the front desk and essentially checking it in and out.

The hotel location is great, in the centre, close to everything without being in the middle of the too lively and noisy streets. Many places to eat at a very close walking distance. Free water, spacious room. Nice staff.

The elevator broke twice during a 5-days stay, which meant 5 flights of stairs to walk. The staff offered to help with luggage, but still, one has to go up and down by themselves ... twice is a bit too much. Breakfast is ok, but if you get down too late (8 instead of 7) and something has already been taken by others (for example pancakes) ... you do not get them.

The room was spacious. It had a king bed and a single bed for our little boy. The bathroom and storage area had a door, so we could close the door while our little one sleeps. The staff were wonderful. I appreciate that bottles were provided and we could refill it with water.

Honestly, i have no problem. If i could give a suggestion, maybe a bigger table. Or have a sofa. It was hard to find the hotel at first, maybe if there was a sign on the main street. Breakfast was basic, which was ok since its a small hotel.

The staff were amazing. Attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They deserve accolades for their service and friendliness - the young man who checked us in was thorough and informative. The location is fantastic - surrounded by excellent bouchon and restaurants, and five minutes walk to the metro. The rooms are small but clean, and beautifully appointed for a couple, with lovely bathrooms and windows that open broadly for fresh air and sunshine. The hotel offers free filtered water and has a coffee machine in the room and in the lobby, and offers a decent breakfast (again, helmed by lovely staff) for a minimal price. We'll stay here again when we visit Lyon - the location and staff make it one of the best hotel experiences we had in France.

There were no negatives for us.

This property is exactly what you are looking for if you need a place to stay that is boutique, central and welcoming! I paid extra for the slightly bigger room which is definitely worth it. Location of the hotel is superb where you can explore the city by foot. I would like to thank the staff for their super service and amazing welcoming smile 😊

Building is not new, and that is part of the experience. So this is not necessarily a negative comment but something to consider

It was a small, French boutique hotel. Everything about this hotel was lovely, in particular the staff who couldn’t do enough & nothing was too hard. I loved my room with its French windows & balcony as well as amazing views over the streetscape & basilica. The free filtered water (sparkling & still), tea, coffee & snacks all day were great for us tourists.

Nothing bad to say

The hotel is very well located in the city center, within walking distance of the historical center and many other attractions. We reserved 3 rooms, all of which were clean and comfortable. The staff is responsive and friendly. It is very convenient for guests that they can use free coffee and juice throughout the day. Thank you for the comfort, the warm welcome and the friendly attitude!

Everything was great!

Located in the very center of the city:) A few minutes from metro station line A. The room was small but very quite. The coffe machine in the room, free water and coffee in the lobby were best.

You are given two door hanger, the wood one clearly says do not clean my room because of environment etc. The other one is classical, on one side it says "do not disturb", the other side is a qr code which we think it means "clean my room" but they didn't:) I think you must hang nothing on the door if you want cleaning. The breakfast was ok.

Room was excellent and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and with very welcome air conditioning. The staff were open, friendly, helpful and welcoming. They were happy to recommend local restaurants , give directions etc. The hotel is very eco friendly providing free chilled plain/sparkling water and coffee. Glass bottles are provided so that you can take water to your room. Location was fantastic in the city centre.

Nothing !!!

Excellent location in a lively area but not noisy. The hotel room was pretty big, but the double bed were 2 single beds put together, which is never ideal because you can feel it. Shower gel and body milk were good too. We didn't have breakfast there, so can't comment on that.

The bathroom setup was a bit strange, with the glass shower door opening in a way that it was a bit more difficult to move around to get in the shower, but nothing major. The bathroom mirror also got loose from the sticky strips and closed (it was like a triptych), but we could stick it again and was fixed. The machine to pay by card wasn't working at reception when we arrived but luckily it was when we checked out, so we paid the tourist tax by card. We were there during a heatwave in September and we had to sleep with the AC on because it was too hot otherwise. Tiny lift, but it worked. Again, hard to move around it with the open door and the cleaning process going on in the narrow corridor and our suitcases, but it was ok. These are things that can be improved I think.
