The room has been very spacious and comfortable. I really enjoyed its overall layout and style. The soap/shampoo/shower gel were from Rituals company which I really enjoy :) I arrived by car so the it was nice to have the parking spot available over the weekend (although it was paid, understandably in the vicinity of city centre). The location was actually quite nice - it is effectively placed near the river where one could walk, but at the same it is part of the shopping centre and restaurant complex with availability of many food chains around. During the stay I walked from the hotel to the city centre areas and basilic (40mins-1hour) but each day came back by a local bus which was quite convenient. The location with this parking was quite perfect for a weekend visit.

Nothing major. For a 4* hotel I would perhaps expect some bottle(s) of water available in the room, but I later discovered there was dispenser available on the corridor (so good to have your own bottle).

Great location attached to a mall with plenty of restaurants and shops. We took the boat to old town and shooed and had dinner. The boat ride was 5 euros each so it was a bargain! We saw Lyon from the water and had a nice ride to the tourist area. The hotel has a nice balcony and we brought our own snacks but ordered drinks from the bar. They were very accommodating. I left my things behind in the safe and realized it after we checked out and the staff retrieved it for me and I picked it up when we grabbed our stored luggage. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. In old town we visited St Jean church which was beautiful.

Directions to vaporetto water taxi! We walked around a bit until we found it. It was so close and we walked by it a few times because the signage was small.

The location was great. We had access to the shopping mall directly from the hotel. The area was nice and you can see a lot of work is going into making this area popular. After we arrived we took a walk along the river which is right next to the hotel and had lots of little restaurants where we could have dinner. The parking is also practical which is in the same building than the hotel. But it was quite full as people come to the shopping mall but luckily the hotel as their own parking allocated within the general parking. I definitely appreciated the staff who were very helpful and offered us a drink as we had to wait a little bit for our room to be ready. Breakfast was also nice and lots of choices.

Nothing I did not like, but some advice to improve the service: When we checked in it would have been great to know that the hotel is connected and has direct access to the shopping mall. The first time we walked around the building to access the mall and later realized that we have private access which was much faster. Also a little bit of directions of what restaurants are around the area and places we can go with the kids would have been nice.

Great location, with easy access to all main roads and motorways. Nice and clean and modern hotel with excellent secured parking. Clean, spacious and modern rooms. Great value for money. We had paid for breakfast which was amazing value and good quality with a fantastic selection.

We arrived at 10.30pm and there was nothing available to buy to eat. There are no vending machines and they have no 24hr room service or bar food service, literally nothing... this is really unusual for a 4* hotel and not great to be honest.

This is a nice hotel, has everything you need and being joined to a shopping mail was excellent, especially when it came to dinner as had so much choice. Breakfast was a little expensive but at least my 7 year old was free and the quality was excellent. Bit out of town but a €10 taxi into the heart of it was fine by me. Car park is also very good and secure. I'd 100% stay again.

Breakfast finished at 9.30, a bit too early for people on a holiday I feel. It's a bit expensive to but I have nothing bad to say about the quality what was excellent.

We had a junior suite on the top floor. The room was spacious and nicely furnished with great views out over the river and confluence. The breakfast buffet was lavish and included many options for all tastes, including vegetarians, carnivores, and the gluten sensitive. That also had that great coffee machine that makes everything from espresso to hot milk foam. We used that a lot! Food and drinks are available in the bar in the afternoon and evenings. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. We want to give a special shout out to the host to the breakfast buffet during the week who was really welcoming and courteous and efficient. The location within the shopping mall, with many shops and dining options, was convenient, and tram lines T1 and T2 were steps away so there was easy access to Vieux Lyon and to Perrache and Lyon Part Deux train stations. The ferry to Vieux Lyon is also located nearby, although we did not take advantage of it.

I loved everything about this hotel. My children and I wanted to get away from home and chill. It's a perfect location for that as it's located in a mall. We took the tram and then the metro to get around. There's an Arcade games place right next door which is convenient if you have kids and you are too tired to go out. I highly recommend this hotel and the view is magnificent as it's located high up in the Mall. You can see the river and part of Lyon from an elevated view. Loved the friendliness of the staff members. We also loved their breakfast.

Easy access by car. Good location for activities in the Confluence. Good staff. Nice breakfast in large bright dining area overlooking the river. Typical non-nonsense Novotel room.

AC system didn’t work properly so the room was too hot. We opened the windows but the roar of the AC machinery for the shopping mall below the hotel was too loud so spent a tropical night.

I didn’t like that the AC wasn’t working properly and it was considered hot ik the room. I called the receptionist, she said that that the AC temperature, it can’t be cooler and the technician isn’t here and won’t be here until after we leave. She asked me to open the window facing McDonalds and KFC with the fried food smell. It was very disappointing in terms of the hotel service.

Great hotel, I stayed there more then 5 times and it's on my top list all the time when I visit Lyon, great location, trendy hotel. It's located in a shopping center with top restaurants, cinema, activities specially for kids. Complete.

Staff are polite but basic service. Attention is not great. I had an issue with the choice of the beds in a room, I came back I asked for a replacement, they gave me the same configuration. Another time, the safe did not had batteries, I called them then 2 days later when I left, the safe was still without batteries. Again the staff are nice but missing more attention to customer needs. I will still stay in the hotel with adapted expectations unfortunately.
