Very friendly and accommodating staff, they have a water machine, which offers complimentary constant cold water and soda water, they stored our luggage for several hours before check in, and several hours after checkout. They provided access to their coffee machine, so we could have coffee/hot water for tea whenever we needed. The train station/tram is around 3 blocks away from the hotel, with access to anywhere in town. Buffet breakfast is abundant, and including breakfast cereals, fruits, meats, cheeses, eggs, croissants and other French pastries, there is something for everyone's taste.

There was no kettle/coffee/tea in the room, but because they provided from the restaurant - not an issue. Nothing else negative.

The second time I stayed here. The first time was nice, even though I stayed in the standard smaller room. For the second time, I was quite disappointed, Booking.com upgraded me to the superior room but finally they gave me a room communicated with the other one by a door. The night was difficult, my neighbours made a lot of noise with bathtub and in the room until 2am. I had some difficulty to fall asleep, so I could not sleep before 3am. They should not rent this room at that price. I felt uncomfortable and unlucky.

Good location to major attractions within Lyon. We walked and used scooters, which took around 30 minutes to certain attractions. Breakfast buffet was decent; the same choice every day though. Staff were friendly and able to alternate between speaking French and English as needed.

The bedroom felt a bit cramped - there was a lack of cupboard space. No safe inside rooms. The pictures displayed on the site were slightly deceptive but I suppose the pictures are designed to provide the illusion of space. Parking around the area is limited although we did manage to find a spot near the hotel.

The staff were very nice and the room comfortable enough but only for a short stay as its a standard hotel size. There is a restaurant attached for dinner but also for the provided buffet breakfast. There is a water dispenser and apples available i the common area for guests . It is about a 10 minute walk to the train station and 15 minutes to the city center.

The hotel has a central heating that could not be changed in the room and we found it too warm. The breakfast options were broad but the food items that should be hot such as bacon, pancakes etc. were always room temperature. There is no complimentary tea or coffee available in the hotel and but we were advised we could buy it from the restaurant, that seemed very substandard for a (not cheap) hotel.

Even though room felt a bit tight sometimes, room in general and bed were cozy. Location is quite good, neighborhood seemed safe and cleaner than other parts of the city. Property in general is well maintained. Additionally, I really enjoyed the breakfast, there were quite a lot of choices.

Bathroom was a bit old and would require a refurbish. Also, walls between rooms are quite bad from soundproof perspective, but I dont know if something can be done about that without a bigger renovation.

The hotel is close to a metro/train station (Perrache is less than 10 minutes walking). So it is really easy to reach it and move down the city. And on the main street you can find several places where to eat something if you want. WIFI ok in the room and outside it. Staff is absolutely kind. Breakfast is very good. Basically you can find an international breakfast with also yogurt, different type of milk and sweet things. The bed is really comfortable and big enough. The room and bathrooms were clean

Room was not so big. For two people you could have problems in leaving the baggages on the ground. On one side the bed is really close to the wall so it is not so easy to get on and off the bed itself. Also, the bed feet is really close to the wall in front of it

When I got to my room I walked into a “freezer” because the air conditioning was so cold. It took 48 hours with window open and air conditioning off to make it warm enough for me. They did have a comforter that I used during my stay. Also I needed to take the metro in to see the main sights but I bought a transit card for all transport - trains, trams and the fenicular included which is the way to go from this location.

Very good value option, close to Perrache train station and quite walkable into the tourist areas. Breakfast was great as was the water filling station. Rooms were simple but comfortable. Quite close to some good eateries, though the immediate area wouldn't be considered particularly touristy. Price was great for what you get.

For the price paid, it was excellent. If you want more than a basic room then you'll need to pay more.

Good size family room (connected rooms). Comfy beds. Friendly reception staff in the evening. Nice local beer in the bar.

When we left, we asked the reception staff to order us a taxi to the main Lyon train station. We had got a metred taxi the night before, and it was 18 euros. The staff ordered, but did not tell us how much it would be. They ordered us a taxi that was too big, and had arranged a fee of 50 euros. This was only told to us by the taxi driver. We tried to negotiate but couldn't. This left us feeling very ripped off. We contacted the hotel about this, they have not come back to us. It felt like the reception staff were intentionally using a friend, and making money from us.

We stayed in our hotel and it was really nice to stay in a hotel. At first it may seem the opposite as the hotel is on the other side of the city center, behind the train station, but the area is quiet, we came back late and there was no problem with that. on arrival we asked for a deposit equal to the price of the room (in our case it was 70 €). The deposit can only be left with a card, and only with a physical card as Apple Pay does not work or at that time did not work. The deposit was returned within 2 days, as promised. We paid for the room in cash on check in. The room was clean enough, the bathroom was also clean. We asked for two twin beds and it was no problem for them. Also information for those who will be traveling in the winter, as our trip was in late December. The room wasn't super warm, but you won't freeze in it, I think around 20-22 C*. The radiator was hot, which made it easy to dry freshly washed clothes within a few hours. The hotel has a hot shower, but I would have liked it literally 2-3 degrees hotter, as you want to warm up your body after a cold street. I think this is a special temperature limitation, so that people are not fried, as in the washbasin water was very hot. And about the blankets, the blankets are very warm, you can safely sleep without clothes and you will be warm. Also, I had no problem opening the wine, really nice man on the reception helped me. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that.
