Staff were really helpful and friendly. The location was ideal. Within 2 minute walk of the D (Green) metro line - Sans-Souci - which took you directly to the old town, if you get off at Vieux Lyon you can then get the funicular to St Just and then walk down towards Fourviere and into the old town. There are so many lovely restaurants here, look out for the Bouchons which have wonderful food at really good prices, I recommend the Restaurant le Vieux Lyon which had some good 3 course menus. The mainline station of Part-Dieu is around a 15-20 min walk and you can get the express tram to the airport there. Right next to the hotel is a little supermarket and across the road is Pizza Cosy where you can get the best pizza's or salad. We were only in town for a few days for the Olympic events and so didn't get to eat at the hotel but the breakfast looked good value. The hotel has a water fountain downstairs with cold still and sparkling water that you can take back to your room, this was a real benefit especially when the weather was so warm. Definitely recommend, fantastic value hotel for stay in Lyon.

Air conditioning wasn't that great, in our room the bed was out of reach of the flow of air which made it quite warm during the night.

The location was good and well connected to the center (especially the metro) The staff was very nice and accommodating, readily available to answer questions or help with any questions. The rooms were clean and spacious shower The cafe area was relaxing with water fountain and free popcorn!

It wasn’t really a big deal; but there was no body lotion in the room. However, an easy call to the reception solved that problem and one was instantly provided.

Everything was excellent. Calm, clean, nice. We were well welcomed and parking facilitation was a very good point for the whole stay.

A little point to review is the lights inside the room. The bed was well lit but not the room itself

Even though we arrived at the hotel before check-in time, our room was ready. Since we had stayed at this hotel before, I knew it was close to public transportation. Breakfast and cleaning were good. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Checking in ahead of time online, same thing with checkout, availability of rooms at noon when we checked in (we expected to leave off our luggage), kindness and warmth of staff

Nothing was bad. This hotel is very good value for money. I am going to set up a loyalty account with Mercure.

Receptionists excellent very friendly even the bartender let me have her own parking space as my car is higher than the height limit . Breakfast very good and clean restaurant. Stuff very helpful and made easy for me

The room is clean and very comfy bed with cleaned bathroom bathroom and toilet

The friendly staff was very helpful and accommodating. We arrived one day late due to flight changes, and communication with the hotel was quick and easy.

The location is not that interesting, but the hotel is very near a metro station and it is very easy to go to the city centre.

O did like the breakfast and the room was spacious...

The room, 211 and all the corridor on the second floor was smelling cigarette smoke, around 12, mid day, the room had a strong smell, I asked to be moved but nobody get back to me. Not a major problem, The warranty of 50 € I still didn't anderstand it. I've been travelling the world, never seen that, it is disturbing, make you feel uncomfortable, in a 4* hotel. Any way, beside that, the breakfast staff were polite and helpful.

The hotel was located nearby a metro station and a lot of shops and restaurants.

The breakfast was good, but without any vegetables. The room was clean, but the windows were very, very dirty. The bathroom was a bit old.

Clean and tidy room, a bit on the small side. Food at breakfast was excellent, lots of choice.

The room was a bit small. The view out of the window was not good, no fresh air as we looked out over the covered atrium.
