Everything! It was well maintained by an excellent staff. I especially appreciated how Yohan, Doriane, Valentin, the young blond lady with the compound name 🤔 Anna….? did their jobs. Yohan and Doriane helped me when my only suitcase 🧳 had to be delivered at 12 midnight a full day and a half after my Thursday early evening arrival to Lyon. The breakfast/le petit déjeuner was fantastic every morning. It was a splendid spread. It was also very aesthetically pleasing, neat, well maintained, quiet, and conveniently located near my daughter’s new apartment, public transportation, and all the necessary neighborhood shops and services.

Super clean, comfortable room. We had all we needed. We didn’t have a wardrobe but for a short stay it fits. Location is not the very best but hotel is close to metro stations and it’s easy to go anywhere. If weather is good you can walk to old town and skip metro. Super nice.

They didn’t have a tirebouchon and no wine available on site. Which felt weird :D We brought wine from an epicerie nearby, no probs to drink at hotel lobby/rest but opening it was a challenge. Not a big deal but if it happens on a Sunday when most is closed this may appear a bit annoying after an entire day of walking and touring.

Nice little room, clearly recently renovated, very clean. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was at the right temperature (you need to ask reception staff to change it for you but we didn't have the need), the curtains were thick and not letting the light in. The bathroom was well organised. The breakfast was good, not too much variety but according to my expectations for a 3 star hotel, everything fresh and tasty; the coffee was pretty good and the cups were large (priorities!). The staff were great, very welcoming, everyone speaks English well (this used to be a problem for me in France, but maybe the times are changing).

The bathroom, though well organised and clean, looked like it is "aging" faster than the rest of the room. Maybe it's the quality of the materials or something. Really not a big deal, but just wanted to note this. The location is a bit further away from the city centre than I expected (no one's fault but mine), so I would recommend to invest in a transportation card.

A fancy hotel near the big museum. The room is stylish, with a large bed, and a nice, clean bathroom. The breakfast is good and cheap. The location is also good, it's not a busy area, but a big museum, historical streets and metro station are all near, and it's only 40 minutes to the center if you prefer walking. There's also a nice co-working space nearby if you're on a workation. Special thanks to Michelle from the front desk, a great professional who helped us and gave a few pieces of advice on good dinner places worth visiting.

The WiFi tends to break connection. The pillows are too tall and hard and really uncomfortable for your neck. The first moment we entered the room, we saw a big splash of bird's poo all over the window, and sadly, it stayed there our whole stay (not a big issue, but not a pleasant thing either).

Everything was great! It was really clean. the closet was spacious and organized well. the bathroom was clean and spacious too. there is always one staff available 24/7 which makes a huge difference.

1. I know why why these days hotels provide coffee and teabags but no water! There is a very nice coffee machine in each room plus several tea and infusions, but the hotel doesn't provide you with a bottle of water upon your arrival! This, in my opinion is ridiculous. Water is the basic need and at least there should be one small bottle in the rooms. It is like they provide the mattress and expect me to bring the sheets! 2. one point which is really personal and can be different from one to the other: There are several lights in the room, but no overhead lamps. and when the colours of the wall are dark orange/terracotta, the room gets really dark and dingy in the night.

It’s a lovely hotel, slightly outside of the city, and about 40min to walk. The suite is lovely but it’s a proper squeeze if someone is sleeping on the sofa. Also worth mentioning that the living room area where the sofa bed is, doesn’t have a blind or curtain so we had to use bed sheet to limit some of the sun exposure. Otherwise the staff is very friendly and welcoming and the beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom is clean with great shower so overall very good hotel for budget travelers.

It’s a budget hotel with a small lobby and rooms that are sufficiently spacious, although furnished like typical three-star hotel rooms. However, each room has a kettle and a coffee machine, as well as a comfortable bed—so nothing more is really needed. The location is excellent for those wanting to visit the Institut Lumière, and getting to the city center by metro is very easy and convenient. In that respect, Lyon is excellent. Except for the nightmare journey to the airport—but of course, that’s not the hotel’s fault. There are plenty of small brasseries and patisseries near the hotel.

The only issue is the address. On the Booking.com website, copying the address leads to a completely different location—Rue F. Villon instead of Rue Villon. This is a serious problem. I wasn’t the first person to end up at the wrong address.

This hotel is in a lovely, typical neighborhood in Lyon. Lots of varied restaurants and shops (two sushi restaurants). Short walk to the metro. Excellent bed, quiet room, great AC. They will do late check out if they have room; but will also hold your bags after checking out. Breakfast every day with multiple choices, including an egg cooker so that you can make soft or hard boiled eggs.

The breakfast is good, but the quantity of some items is limited (scrambled eggs and bacon) and the bread available was a bit stale.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly, The lumiere museum is just a few minutes walk from the hotel, and a Carrefour market only 2 minutes walk. The place for breakfast is spacious, well organized and available between 7:00 am and 11:00 am during weekends. We could leave our baggage at the hotel after check out.

It is not close to the city center, but it was expected. The space was very limited for legs when I sat on the toilet in the bathroom, I am a tall man though at 187 cm.

The location is very convenient - close to the metro and restaurants. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom, closet space, and coffee maker. Friendly and helpful staff.

The room is small but adequate. Would be nice to have more pillows and towels. No safe or refrigerator. Can’t adjust your own thermostat to change room temperature. Overall, these were very small things. I would stay here again and think it was a good value.
