Comfortable room if a little small, the bed was located in the middle creating a bit of an obstacle. Fine for one night.

Although this is an impressive historical villa, the location is in an area which unfortunately is not bustling with bars, restaurants and street life. We arrived in the evening by taxi so tried to find a restaurant within walking distances and failed. Visitors with cars however would appreciate the secure parking and being able to go elsewhere for meals. For the price the breakfast was minimal and the "madeleines" had reached their sell- by date.

Stunning oasis is a rather gritty bit of Leon, the moment you drive through the beautiful gates you are in a different world. EVERYTHING was thought about from a wine fridge, to blankets for sitting in the garden to the most wonderful breakfast. Its a cracker of a place

There are roadworks directly outside (not noisy at all) but knowing before arrival would safe us from getting lost/stuck in rush hour traffic for an extra 40 mins.

Hosts are great - super helpful. Property is a bit quirky but fun. Lovely hot tub and we enjoyed a dinner el fresco outside.

First visit to Lyon. Traffic in the area is very congested (road construction out front doesn’t help). A bit of a trek to Metro (which is a good system). Might perhaps have been better to be closer to old centre, but enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Beautiful place to stay. Not too far from the centre, plenty of public transport links.

There are only two things to point out. 1, addtion bed pillows would have been nice, the ones provided weren't firm enough, and I had to fold the pillow in half to create some comfort. 2, on two seperate morning's, we were woking up by someone slamming the front door, one time at 6:30am and the other at 7am. The door didn't need to be slammed so early in the morning, assuming it was another guest.

Lovely accommodation, very quiet and secluded. Cleaned every day and breakfast food topped up every day. Bed new and very comfortable. Bathroom, especially shower, spacious.

Room was very small, although beautifully decorated. The location was too far out of town and the neighbourhood undesirable.

Beautiful building and rooms, tastefully decorated and with lots of historic details preserved. Quiet surroundings and comfortable bed made the place perfect to have a good night rest. A nice breakfast is served every day, and great quality coffee is unlimited with the coffee machine. Easy process of check in.

Location mainly as area not ideal but did not affect our stay. Would have liked more milk to make tea . T v wasn’t great as was not a smart tv so limited choice .

It was an excellent place to stay in Lyon even though it is a little bit outside of the center. The building and its garden was sensational. Our room was very well designed and it was so comfortable and clean. The kitchen and the coffee machine was exceptional plus. They also offer free parking space for each room in their garden.

This is a small boutique hotel in a beautifully restored old building. The room is fabulous with a perfect combination of original features and modern decoration and convenience. The bathroom was great, with a large shower. Breakfast was delivered in a basket, and it was delicious. Although we did not meet the owner, they were very communicative and helpful. We had a fabulous dinner at the bistro across the road where the owners and locals were extremely friendly and welcoming! It was really enjoyable.

The hotel is located away from the old town and main tourist attractions. It just meant either an Uber or a taxi ride for us because the metro was striking when we were there. This was the only hassle we had. Otherwise, perfect!

not enough storage for clothes as no drawers and too few hangers. no bread knife. no instructions or trays for the oven in one room.
