The hotel is located close to the water and it's only a few minutes away from the bridges that take you to Vieux-Lyon. If you're coming from the train station, I would recommend you take the bus and not the metro because dragging my luggage up and down the streets was not the best. The hotel staff were super welcoming, giving tips for whatever I needed. The room is fine for one person. The bed is a little small but otherwise, it was great! The washroom is a decent size and the shower pressure was better than expected. The AC was more than good enough!

The bed could be bigger and sometimes, the blankets were a bit scratchy.

Hotel Saint Vincent is located within walking distance of many Lyon attractions, close to regular public transport services and yet outside of the highly commercial and tourist areas of the city. There are many services such as excellent local restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walk. The standard room was of a good size, clean and airy. The staff were friendly, multilingual and engaging, and prepared to share many tips on getting around, things to see, and recommendations for local restaurants, bars and markets, including specialist requirements (eg gluten free food). They even knew about changes to bus stops which had only occurred the previous day.

Top notch location to walk into town for a fantastic dinner. Our food tour (no diet walking tour - recommended!) actually ended right around the corner. Fun layout of the hotel (though what’s up with all the UK travel posters??) and high service level. Parking is possible in larger public parking garages nearby. Rooms are small but comfortable.

Perhaps the hotel can arrange a deal with parking garages and I recommend explaining more clearly where you can park to drop your luggage. Also, if you struggle with mobility, don’t select this hotel.

Very nice hotel in a convenient area in the city centre with many restaurants and cafes around. The old building has undergone a really nice renovation, the interior is quite impressive. Excellent mattresses, roller blinds and quiet guaranteed long and relaxing sleep. Very clean in general with a convenient bathroom. 24h-reception with very friendly staff. We didn't try breakfast because we slept a lot and because there are many interesting breakfast places around the corner. We would definitely stay in Hotel Saint Vincent next time in the city.

Superb location. Incredibly quiet. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. A real hotel of character with its brick walls and wooden ceilings. Very comfortable beds, great pillows! Superb towels!

Nothing really except that it has such potential to be even better! This could really be a five star boutique hotel with some upgrading but as it is, it is still very comfortable and I will return. It will be my hotel of choice in Lyon.

A very nice hotel at the price. The room was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable. It was in a great location and the staff were very helpful.

The coffee served with the breakfast was weak. Need to change that up. Also, I think it would be great if the front desk didn’t ask you for your room number every time you go in and out. I have been to a lot of hotels and have never experienced this before. It’s like they are monitoring you or something I mean, you just want to leave and come back without being questioned every time. I am sure they mean well but we found it very annoying.

The location was perfect, in the town and 5 minutes walk to Vieux (Old) Lyon. Building outside was in red which made it stand out (a good marker to find our way 'home') from your normal/bland hotel fronts. Fantastic walk to the Basilica of Notre Dame of Fourviere. Beautiful room, clean, bright and airy. Bathroom clean and tidy. We had the 3rd floor with traditional French spiral stairway and steps. We are step/walk fanatics so this was a pleasure for us. The owner and the other gentleman on the reception where so helpful to us. Suggested places to visit in detail. Wonderful. Breakfast was buffet style, self service and a good selection for the start of your day. They appreciated that we wanted to practice our French and accommodated us. For me he spoke slower which I really appreciated.

first of all, location is very great. Walkable distance to many main places. The personnel are very kind and helpful. The rooms are located on first floor (no elevator) and on a big endless corridor (aisle) which I found very funny. If you bring heavy bags/baggages, to walk to the rooms can be challenging. The rooms are cleaned everyday. There is no sleeper, if you don't want to be bare foot, I recommend bring your own.

Even though the location is great, to walk to the nearest metro takes 8-10 minutes walk, which was not a problem for me at all. Lyon is very walking friendly city.

Good location and beautiful architecture, with tons of exposed, original stone and beautifully restored beams. The staff was helpful and courteous.

The Wi-Fi is horrible both in speed and function. Having to log in every time we returned to the room is a pain and because you log in with your email, you can only have 1 device logged in at a time. If logged in on my phone, I needed to log off of that if I wanted to use my laptop. Just a pain in the rear.
