It was exactly what I expected. A (cheapish) hostel/hotel/motel next to the main railway station in Runcorn on a commercial estate. Anyone going into this place expecting the Park Lane Hilton needs their head testing. The parking was cheap, £6 for 2 days, staff were polite but rarely seen (that's good) and the 'hotel' was obviously being used by many German and Polish contractors, from talking to folks and looking at the work vans in the car park. We didn't use any of the other facilities on offer, although there was a bar/eatery. The shower could fit two adults easily and was great. The room was all me and my GF wanted. A night away with privacy and quiet and an en-suite. We got it!

easy to find location, ground floor room as travelling with dog and dog allowed in the bar area, staff were very friendly and helpful and there is plenty of parking at a reasonable charge.
The hotel is definitely a budget hotel, it is in need of some updating, the worst thing but of course cannot be controlled by the hotel, is it is right under the approach path for Liverpool Airport, so VERY noisy when planes are landing.

Location to our party venue was the main reason for selecting Campanile Hotel. The bed was comfy, the shower very hot and as forceful as you want, love the bath option (although small as expected in smaller rooms in every hotel it was deep) Plenty of beverages and refills available Venue was clean Breakfast was lovely and all served by one person. We are back again at the end of November
No advance warning of there being no lift only external stair access to 2nd and 3rd floors (didn't bother us but less mobile would need to request ground floor rooms). Towels were small Payment by card only no cash on site (understand the simplicity of this but I like cash)

Fantastic little place ! reminds me of Butlins in the rooms and how the hotel is set out . Very clean , people have stated it is outdated décor , yes this is true but I see what they are trying to do , to me it looks like they are trying to keep it as original as possible by repairing and restoring where possible , looks great , it was a great blast from the past with a luxury stay. Everything was clean and the beds are super comfy , nothing broken , great range of facilities in the room , tea/coffees etc and kettle . Lovely view of the garden and the garden is lovely to sit in . Lovely private room with no worry of noise . Staff are lovely and helpful and very friendly and happy Parking was easy and plenty of space in carpark. The bar is in the reception which is just next door , so no worry of noise from bar and people going to the rooms. I would definitely stay here again with such great value for money with a very comfortable stay .

From check in to check out really happy with the hotel and the staff, friendly welcome, easy check in process, clean tidy and fresh smelling room, everything in the room worked, instant hot water out of sink, shower and bath taps, lovely freshly cooked hot breakfast with help yourself to toast, jams, yogurts, cereals, hot and cold drinks. Well maintained hotel with grass areas (ideal for dog) and outdoor seating, ample parking for all guests and close to shops, pubs and train station if required.
Nothing - one of the best hotels stayed in for a while :)

Close enough to the airport to stay after a late flight. Met as we arrived, shown to our rooms by the lovely Dave Hospitality tray in the room was well stocked. Not by any means a fancy place but the room, the bedding and towels were spotless. Breakfast bar was well stocked with plenty of choices. Order your cooked food and it gets cooked fresh. Lovely eggs & bacon (that's what I ordered) swift service. The lady on duty was friendly helpful and efficient. I'm sorry I can't remember her name. (Date was 5th June)

Dog friendly hotel which is ideal when travelling for work. As my Dog is a rescue dog, I am unable to leave him, so it is very convenient to have a place that is accommodating. Quiet, and free parking is great. Not far to get into the city.
It was dated, but quite interesting at the same time how hotels use to look like. It reminded me of an old movie Motel in America.

The room was a perfect size, lovely and clean and it was amazing that we could take our fur kid
The beds could've been a bit more comfortable, possibly a mattress topper on them? A bit disappointing that we weren't allowed to take our dog into the restaurant, we'd love to have eaten in there
