There is no physical presence of customer support at the accomodation, however everything is well taken care of. All essential information was sent well in advance and customer service was on the end of an email or phone if required. The apartment was compact and had everything a person could be needed - a kitchen, a comfortable bed, desk/working area and well equipped bathroom.

There is no lift at the property, it was ok for me but there was another guest when I arrived who had crutches so the stairs were difficult for her.

A good sized room, bed was so comfortable and the whole place was lovely and clean and well maintained. Easy to access and only a short walk from the shopping centre. No reception but cleaning and maintaince staff were lovely and friendly and helpful

The exit light above the door was too bright and lit the room up at night and there is no view from the windows (but wasn't really bothered about a view) there's no lift so being on 3rd floor and disabled was alot of stairs to contend with. Bathroom floor and shower can get very slippy so had to use a towel on the shower floor to stop the slipping

We liked the location because it was close to what we wanted to see in Warrington Also that the kitchenette allowed us to cook if we wanted to. When we needed assistance with television operation the staff was there within 10 minutes to assist us. Zach was friendly and courteous.

The suite allowed for 2 visitors, but the one suggestion we would make is that another chair-possible a folding chair be added should you wish to share a meal together. The chair could be stored in the wardrobe.

The door entry codes worked well as we arrived very late. And, because we were late and it was a Sunday we were able to park for free just around the corner in the square. The room facilities were adequate for our quick overnight stay.

Because I had booked two rooms (one for me and one for my son), although there were more than enough communications regarding arrival arrangements, it wasn't easily clear where the link was to check in the second room and I only received the door code and room number for one of the rooms. So I had to message Guest Services who came back quickly and gave me the code and number for the second room and which out of the two rooms was the superior room.

The room was spacious, nicely decorated and immaculately clean. Across the street from a very scenic park.

No apparent staff. Check-in and check-out were done via email/internet. Very impersonal. Did not see one hotel staff member during our visit. If you needed assistance, you had to call a call center who would then relay the message to staff somewhere in the hotel. Definitely not hospitality based. Also, no elevator. Perhaps I missed that in the booking notes but it wasn’t ideal.

The checking in process was exemplary with the method of key codes. The loading bay immediately outside was extremely helpful. The location was splendid near to excellent restaurants and an exceptional terrace bar at San Lorenzo. Close proximity to City Centre and Town Hall. The room decor was modern and aesthetically pleasing. Post Office architecture is outstanding.

For a brief period only during our stay there was a sewage type smell in the room and the shower fan didn't function.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We absolutely love the place. The bed is sooooo comfortable. The decor is beautiful and the layout is perfect. Having a kitchenette is handy to make something to eat while you stay. I enjoyed the rain shower! Online check in and check out is easy and having a keycode sent prior to your stay makes it really easy to go straight to your room. Contacting the hotel is really quick too if you have any questions.

Wasn't anything to dislike

upon arrival to the building the corridors and stairwell smelt lovely and fresh, I have stayed in many 'branded' hotels but none gave such a positive first impression (other than a 5 star hotel in Turkey!)

My room had a small cracked pane of glass and no view however this was considered at design stage and the lower half of the window was frosted. Obviously this is due to the location of the room in the building so nothing could change, just need to get the glass replaced. Details on how to enter the building could be clearer, I had to request this as the room was booked last minute on the day of arrival, my email was responded to very quickly though by Zach, many thanks for Zach!

Travelled to Warrington for work training and decided to bring my partner along for a few nights, The apartments are between a steakhouse and a cocktail bar, no need to travel far. The apartment was well decorated, clean and more spacious than i expected the bed was very comfortable and has a good atmosphere I would definitely recommend

There is no free parking nearby! It can be hard to find a space close to the apartments. which may put a few people off.

The Old Post Office is an excellent self serviced apartment and a venue I always enjoy staying in. The only reason for the slight mark down this time is due to the heating in my room, on a very cold January evening, not working at optimal level i.e., it was very cold on the room. I did report this to Zach, General Manager and he offered to move me to another room, but by this time I was all tucked up in bed. He was very proactive and assures me all will be well for my next visit, next week.
