Easy parking, booking in was quick and efficient, lift to the floors so easy access for anyone with walking disabilities. Room was as good as any top class hotel, everything you want.

if I wanted to be picky I would suggest more coffee/tea sachets and milk, there was only enough milk for two drinks each. The bed was quite firm and I found the plastic mattress cover a bit hot as the night was warm. but I would rather that than a dirty mattress, so..... It was overall very good value for money, clean and well maintained. Only downside was the food in the restaurant was very average for the expensive price, so didn't bother with breakfast.

The staff were so warm and welcoming I felt at home and happy, they gave me a clear direction to my bedroom. My bedroom was well ventilated the fan oh dear soundless clean sheets towels and complimentary snacks it is well managed and even on my way out I was greeted with a smile.

Everything was perfect. Enough space to pack, Registered the car etc. I love everything. Next time I will spend more days.

I have stayed at this hotel several times before over the years and never had a bad experience, what was a nice surprise was that there have been a lot of improvements made bringing the hotel into a higher standard, in my opinion, I will definitely be going back again.

it was disappointing that I only got to know a few days before my stay that the bar and restaurant was closed on Sunday.

My 80th birthday celebration here The staff and manager so very helpful, nothing too much trouble to make my party the best ever. Elisie events manager. Went out of her way to help organise my big day to perfection Excellent evening buffet spread. Fabulous function room. The party was beautifull and had a separate bar area with seating areas. Not forgetting the resident DJ, he was great. I had a beautiful bedroom. Well done Hillcrest, thank you to all the staff, always greeted with a smile 😃 I have since returned staying over one night as I have lots of relatives near by. Will now be one of their regulars. All my family so imprest with the function room and plan to book future party gatherings there

Maybe breakfast, a little dry standing too long or cooked too early. We went down at 9am

They kindly upgraded me after a very long journey. Staff very friendly and cooked me in visual breakfast to my liking.

You can easily hear next door and they kept me awake

Location is excellent for me. Have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 6ish years, the improvements have been interesting. Taking the pool table out of the bar was good idea

Mattress was terrible, visibly dips before you get on it! Bathroom door handle had a gap around it, bathroom hasn’t had an upgrade that I noticed.

The staff are just lovely! Had a personal issue due to a bereavement and they were really helpful and understanding. The bedroom was very bright and clean. I booked it for my family member and was 100% book again. Thanks again for being so kind.

We attended a function within the hotel so stayed overnight. The function was fantastic, food was delicious and staff very helpful and friendly

As residents in the hotel we were told we could access drinks after the function had finished. We were not told that this was only until 1am and even coming up to that time no last orders was called for the residents so a lot of disappointment of guests

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Room of very high standard, clean and well stocked, including tea/ coffee. Good car park with security cameras. Good breakfast.

Nothing I didn't like - my shower was a bit tricky to manage (had to keep bending down to fiddle with the taps), and glasses rather than disposable plastic cups would be nicer - but these really are just first world problems, and I really don't mind! It's a nice friendly hotel, the rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfortable. Everything I needed.
