Fresh, clean, very comfy, the bed was the biggest and comfiest i have been in. My favourite branded tea bags!!! although an extra couple of teabags, sachet of sugar and milk wouldnt go amis, kettle boiled quick, normally hotel kettles, you wait for ageesss. The lad on the day shift was lovely, very helpful, good pleasant conversation, tried to assist me as much as he could when i arrived a lot earlier than check in, and avoiding added costs, as i didn't actually want the room until midnight. 5 stars for him, i will return here again!

The windows not opening fully and the sliding screens Toilet paper kept ripping piece by piece because of the holder 10am checkout after a festival

The location and view to the lake was stunning , it was my first time up here and won’t be my last, I would love to return to take advantage of the walks around the lake and the outside eating/drinking areas to the pub next door! The room had a couple of marks around soap dispenser and a couple of other places, also the tv didn’t have the best signal so was limited with what we could watch. That said very friendly helpful staff, room was of a good clean standard bathroom was also of a good standard with a good water pressure for showers!

Carpark was a little messy from all the leaves but this doesn’t distract from the wonderful views of the lake! Also there was signs of a previous guest had been smoking out the window!!

Location ideal for the area. Unfortunate that the hotel has no breakfast on site. The TOBY next door doesn't start till 9 a.m. and there are no nearby alternatives. Slight disadvantage of the location. Otherwise, still a great stopover.

The old Travelodge furniture and furnishings are well aged, but beds are still comfortable and efforts have been made to keep the hotel clean. If OYO can maintain their development and upgrade when they renovate, if the pandemic allows more of a return to previous travel and stays, they should be well placed in the market.

On the day I was due to check-out i took my car in search of somewhere to eat. I returned 10 minutes before I was due to check-out yet I've recently received a parking fine in the post for £85, for leaving the hotel for 40 minutes. The fine will not be getting paid as its unlawful and clearly based on a technicality in order to swindle money from unsuspecting people. I'm aware the hotel doesn't manage the carpark, but do be aware if you stay here, dont move your car until you check-out!

Very friendly and helpful staff. There is a pub attached so it was easy to book a table for breakfast. Free car parking just have to give your number plate on check in.

Unfortunately, we stayed here to attend an event at Haydock Racecourse but no local taxi firms would pick up from the hotel and we had to walk back which took over an hour as no taxis would take us back either. Rooms could do with a little TLC but overall had everything you need for a short stay.

Centrally located to visit our relatives and friends. Nice room overlooking the lake which we strolled around one evening. We stayed here when it was Premier Inn and thought that the building was looking a little tired but overall it was ok.

When people returned about midnight they had no consideration for other guests trying to sleep, with loud voices and slamming doors.

Stayed here on 14th August, I had unfortunately made a mistake on the check in time and arrived a bit early. The gentleman on reception (didn't get his name) was so helpful and arranged for me to check in slightly early as I had train tickets booked. Thank you so much and would definitely stay here again on my next works night out.

The staff was so helpful we had a puncture on the way to the hotel the staff gave us garage names and phn numbers so we could get it fixed . There staff very polite and gave us the time of day . Very comfortable stay perfect location for my sons wedding . Thank u all

Easy to find from motorway, places to eat close to hotel, nice walk around the lake and local countryside, carpark easy to find.

Tricky access if there is traffic stopped at the junction, nearby eatery/pub a bit noisy later at night if the room window is open.

The staff member at the front desk was really accommodating. The beds are really big and comfy. I loved how the hotel was right next to a lake. We had a lovely breakfast in the restaurant next door which had a good view.
