Great location with everything you need on site. I stayed for work and it was in an ideal spot. The room I stayed in was well-equipped with all the necessities. It was warm, clean and cosy. I unfortunately didn't get the opportunity to eat at the pub but it looked lovely. If I was visiting the area again I'd stay here. There's ample parking, it's close to local amenities and easy to get to. I arrived late on the evening I was due and thought it was nice that they gave me a call to check everything was ok. The accommodation is in a separate building to the pub, but it's right next to the main building.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hartwood Hall. Every member of staff that I interacted with was warm and friendly, and I felt very well looked after by the team. I needed to check in late and order dinner, this was all handled easily and the attentive service and good food in comfortable surroundings were very welcome. The restaurant/bar had a good atmosphere with several local groups having dinner or relaxing. I enjoyed the salmon with roast vegetables and a glass of Picpoul. The room was very comfortable and cozy with underfloor heating and all amenities needed. It was very quiet despite the main road being outside. Breakfast was also excellent and very good value, with several hot options and a buffet with many choices including pastries, toast & jams, cereals, juice, yoghurt, tea & coffee. Again I was impressed by the friendly team looking after me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hartwood Hall or to stay here again when in the area.

There isn't anything I would have changed about my visit - everything I needed was provided, no negatives!

The staff were very polite and welcoming from the first instance, and directed me twice towards the correct check in area. The room was clean and well presented throughout, and kept at a warm temperature. Restaurant area was well maintained and staffed, and food was of a good quality and atmosphere was family-friendly.

There was a lengthy wait to be checked in despite arriving almost an hour after earliest check in and this had to be done at the end of the main pub bar. Ground floor room had the door lock at shoulder height and made the lock fiddly to close the door securely upon exiting, and would be inaccessible for a permanent wheelchair user. The room was quite compact and small, so not enough clearance between the desk and bed to use the desk chair, and the bed was very creaky. Conversations from other guests was easily heard through the thin walls/ceiling. Generally good quality, but mostly for a bed for the night rather than a place to rest between activities.

The staff were friendly & informative & gave good service. Both the evening meal and breakfast were excellent! Very clean and fresh decor. Comfy bed, tv and good shower. Near ring road and hospital.

The bedroom was far too warm. This was when it was very cold outside in the winter. I had the window wide open, there was also a window wide open in the corridor & it was still far too warm & no adjustable room thermostat.

Excellent facilities with the pub & restaurant on site. I stayed with my wife the 1st night & then had to go into hospital for a further 3 nights. My wife stayed the rest of the week while I was having surgery. Excellent location for Chorley & South Ribblesdale hospital. 500 yards down the road.

All good, nothing to complain about, maybe the poor weather but we are all used to that. Staff all excellent in the restaurant who also sort the rooms out for you.

Central location - near to family. Stayed before and enjoyed. Shower a little snug only gripe. Great food/menu - used to stay at Malthouse Farm but food there gone downhill vastly. Great you accept the Blue Light discount for food. Arron our waiter was exceptional! Extremely helpful, informative, polite, professional and attentive. Brilliant service.

Only gripe was the shower being a little snug. I’m not a big fella, but someone chunkier than me might struggle using the shower.

Very clean room, good facilities, location of the hotel & pub near the motorway is ideal for travelers with cars. Of note was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, easily the best part of this hotel.

The room was a bit cramped. It was fine and acceptable because I was alone, but it would have been very hard to navigate the room if there was another person with me.

I had everything I needed. A clean , comfortable room that was ideally situated a minute from the hospital that I needed to be at the next morning. The staff were friendly and helpful, and requests were dealt with promptly.

I had trouble with the heating controls, which meant that I roasted all night!🥵🤣

Picked the hotel as ideal for the hospital across the road. My wife stayed here 3 nights while I was in Chorley & South Ribblesdale Hospital. The room was decent, and the location also has pub & and a restaurant & walking distance into town. The staff were very well mannered & couldn't do enough to help me & my wife.

Water power from shower wasn't great but nothing to bother your stay.

Room clean & comfortable, Breakfast was very good (extra cost but worth it) Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Only issue we had was we arrived @8.55pm and were too late for a meal as the kitchen closed @ 9pm. It was a shame as we had just travelled 250 miles to get there and now wished we had stopped off somewhere else on the way to eat.
