A fair priced room, clean, comfortable, has everything you need for a pleasant stay, Smart TV with on site WI-FI with decent speed so no buffering while catching up on Netflix, plenty of storage space in the room to hang garments, clean good size bathroom, individual heating control for the room ( no aircon), large comfortable bed. plenty of sockets to charge electrical items. Lady on reception was very informative on arrival with all local amenities, room instructions and checking in. Two large supermarkets, two public houses, a Burger King all in walking distance

The hotel is next to a Hungry Horse restaurant which also serves breakfast. As the hotel does not have eating facilities this is very helpful to have so close. There is also a garage with Sainsburys included and a Burger King the other side. I'm unsure as to whether you can walk to both as the roads seem quite busy. Free Wifi access. Controlled heating and a fan in the room. Really appreciated as I struggle with heat and keeping cool.

More towels! I suppose I could have asked for more but this should be something that's a necessity. This may have only affected me that night but it most definitely ruined my stay. I heard a continuous beeping all night. To the point I went to reception early hours to ask what this was. I was told they couldn't switch this off due to some reason. This led to a very restless night. After breakfast, I explained to the day receptionist what had happened and if possible could I have an extra hour to sleep. This was granted which is why I didn't submit a complaint.

We only live around the corner but wanted a break from the house so booked here last min . Pleasantly surprised has everything you could need in the room right next to a local pub too and Burger King across the road which we got and ate in the room while watching the big tv we brought our fire stick but it does have normal channels and Netflix if you didn’t have a fire stick .vending machine in corridor and friendly staff to welcome you .door secured at night key needed to get into the building . Very quiet we will definitely stay again

Hot water could of been a tad hotter but i like hot hot baths so that is just my preference

The lovely lady on reception was excellent, the room was just what was needed and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The hotel was next to a bar restaurant, and 2 minute walk from a super market. Also bonus for me less than 5 minutes from the motorway. Perfect transit hotel for me.

At 5am the room next door must have come back from a night out. They played loud music and had guests, and their voices where loud. I cant blaim the hotel for their guest behavior, but after driving over 800 miles for 14 hours, I wanted a good rest.

Everything in Purple Roomz was just perfect for me , Hotel was very clean Room was just fantastic and a large size and very clean .The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent . The staff i spoke to all friendly and very helpful Even though the Hotel is next door to their pub it was still very quiet in the hotel room . If I find another purple roomz on my travels I will stay with them again

Hotel was easy to find, on the main route into Preston. Amble free parking, large Sainsbury's over the road with a petrol station. Near large outlet with a cinema and other shops. Lovely friendly staff, large room which was very clean as was the bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with plenty of choice including biscuits. Next door was a pub where you could get a fair breakfast for £4:99, check out staff were just as friendly as check in.

We didn't realise we hadn't locked the door to our room due to the door being opened by a key. Felt a bit old fashioned.

Easy to find, great location. Walking distance to supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. Comfortable beds, I was carpark side so it was quiet and I slept well. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and smelt nice. Shower was good & powerful. Reasonably priced :-).

Hotel is a little tired, normal keys for rooms, no signs for housekeeping. Bathroom needs updating and some work cosmetically, fan is also noisy, shower rail worn and crack in tiles.

The location is ideal. It is close to the major road networks, supermarkets and there is a pub/restaurant on the site. That said the rooms are quiet and afford a good night's sleep. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel used to be a Premier Inn and still retains the same style. The car park is large. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is an excellent stay for a very good price. This is the third time I have stayed here as a solo female traveller and always feel very secure here.

There is nothing that I didn't like about my stay here.

Conveniently located with easy access form motorway, making it a good choice for overnight or short stay while travelling up or down the country. Rooms are good sized with tea coffee facility and there is a vending machine onsite. Staff are pleasant and check in and check out are seamless Bed and pillows are comfortable Overall, a good value for money hotel

The property is old but well maintained. Bathrooms need to be upgraded

The staff were exceptionally good, location was good for me, the room was comfortable, quiet and clean, though little things could do with updating, such as the light in the bathroom where it’s dropped one side. Apart from that, I’d recommend staying there to others and for the price, it’s very good value for money

I think it’s more the look of the building that needs uplifting, front main doors could be refurbished or painted and generally a good power wash to masonry.
