Ate an evening meal which was very good quality and value. Room was comfortable - pillows a bit hard - bathroom 1st class. Did not have breakfast.

As you enter the site the car park on the left hand side was closed and the parking that was available was very cramped. Tight with little room in which to manoeuvre a large car. I was shown a space around the side of the building which was spacious and safe for another 3 cars. Later that evening the car park that had been closed was opened and I saw that there was space there for about 30 cars. Silly to have it closed at check in time.

Breakfast was provided even though it was Christmas and Boxing day.Food was good. Service good, very quiet which was lovely and friendly staff. A beautiful building.

Location is strange as it is the middle of an industrial estate but having lived in Skelmesdale for years this doesn't bother me, as it is very quick to get to off the motorway. Didn't like the televisions in all social areas, the same news was repeated over and over again. There was not much to not like, apart from the televisions it was very relaxing in the bar area. The rubbish when coming off the motorway by the Skelmersdale sign is embarrassing, it is not a good advert for the hotel.

The rooms were very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were great. Everything was clean and well catered for. My friends room was opposite mine and despite two weddings over the two days we were there, we were located well away from any noise of music etc

The rooms didn’t have any air conditioning but fans were available to help sleep on the warm evenings we’ve been having. The breakfast wasn’t the best I’ve had staying away; but it was perfectly adequate and the staff were lovely

During my travels in the UK, which I undertake almost every year, I've noticed that the farther we stay from the main cities, the more authentic the hospitality service becomes. This holds true for the Best Western Lancashire Manor Hotel as well—excellent check-in and check-out experience, with a brilliant breakfast team. I’m an early riser and though the eggs were not ready, someone went the extra mile to prepare them for me. Kudos to the gentleman who was in all black attire that morning.

A lovely private accommodation, it is tucked away, with gardens and trees (not knowing near a business park). The restaurant was lovely with a good breakfast selection, also very nice evening meals. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel appeared to be full, weddings, but no noise or disturbances. Slept like a log. We were visiting family, and a short walk to Up Holland was convenient.

All good. A note that there isn’t any shops near.

I’ve stayed several times and the beds are large and comfy and the shower is nice and powerful. Breakfast was superb as always and the staff are very attentive.

Unfortunately it was very hot and because the hotel does not have air conditioning it was very hot however this was outside of the hotels control and due to the unprecedented hot weather the a/c is would probably not be a cost effective installation. It didn’t affect my stay though.

Really easy access onto motorway as we had to travel to Formby several times. Eating in the restaurant first evening have to say very good quality and really nice service. Breakfast was outstanding. One very small problem sink in our room would not drain away reported this reception and it was sorted out within 15 minutes that is what you call service..

On a Saturday night a few people had congregated at that the entrance and were smoking as a non smoker this really isn't good.

The hotel was lovely, the bar and dining areas are really cosy. The staff were very friendly & helpful too. The food was really good. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The room was lovely and warm and it was easy to adjust the temperature on the radiator.

The rooms were very basic and old looking. Had the rest of the hotel not been so nice I’d not choose to stay there again. The top cover on the bed had a stain on it, it looked like smeared makeup, maybe a broken blusher? I didn’t take any makeup with me as I was going for surgery the next day so I knew it hadn’t come from me. The tv was at an awkward angle, it was almost tilted ever so slightly upward, it could have done with being tilted forward a little more so that it was at a better angle when led on the bed.

I liked the age of the building and how nicely it was converted into the hotel. Food was lovely and staff were very helpful in regards to assisting our needs.

Beds were not as comfortable as we expected and the location of the hotel in an industrial estate lets it down. We did request that both rooms be close together as my mum is disabled but this was not possible. We ended up having to swaap rooms so that my mum could have the ground floor room and my wife, niece and i had to fit in a twin room on single beds and I am a very tall and big man with my own disabilities, so a single bed was not adequate for me.

We really loved being just down the hall from the wedding we were there to attend but somehow didn't hear any of the noise! The room was very clean and the bed was so comfy. The TV was a good size and resolution, and for the most part easy to use. The bathroom was really well designed and roomy, the shower was great. The breakfast in the morning was lovely

One of the lights next to the bed was broken, flashing on and off. By the time we noticed it was late so not worth bringing to the attention of staff but the staff were lovely so I'm sure they would have sorted it for us. It didn't really affect our stay
