The breakfast was very well laid out - I've never been anywhere before or after where you found whatever you wanted straight away and the food was lovely. Also the staff were friendly and easy to get on with.The room we stayed in was just right with a nice view and all the coffee/tea making facilities and TV were perfectly okay . We could also see Lemon Tree Farm from our bedroom - just the other side of the car park - a superb carvery which we just happened to take advantage of that evening. You can have three yorkshire puddings each and decent sized pigs in blankets, awesome - the cakes were massive as well. However, if you are going there it's best to book beforehand. It was also very quiet and peaceful for sleeping at nighttime.

As mentioned above we didn't have an evening meal at Ibis Styles so we can't comment on that, so the only thing I wasn't too keen on was the shower. It was one of those modern ones that didn't have a door and you had to be a bit careful water didn't go everywhere when you used it.

Very Nice Rooms, and up to date.

We booked breakfast for one of the days we were there, but the food ran out very quickly, and some of the food was not replaced in the hot pans and trays for at least 20mins, me and My partner and the other guests had to wait this long, other people entered the breakfast area by then, and it was a back log, the food ran out yet again, so did not enjoy this experience whatsoever, the 2nd morning we were there, we went over the road for breakfast to the pub on the grounds, cheaper and less hassle, surely the IBIS knew how many guests we staying and would have had this situation in hand.

The breakfast was good but could have been more choice ie only scrambled eggs no fried boiled or poached - the room was very small for a family room for 4 - i banged my foot on one of the beds several times and so did my husband and the 2 children in the end we got rid of the camp bed and slept my youngest grandchild on a few mattresses on the floor between the other beds this was much better the staff helped by getting a few extra mattresses so we could do this but really the room was way too small for 4 people

Your Heydock property is near to Newton-le-Willows where my dad's family come from and where we will return to as our family grave in the churchyard at St Mary's and St John in Crow Lane.

I was unable to use the toilet as it was too low? Made things very difficult, although you have loads of 'bar' all around it I have severe arthritis and unable to grip the handrails to pull myself up! My two brothers are over 6' and as they both have postate cancer they are in-out of the toilet all the time, Johno is on chemotherapy and he is using the toilet a lot and of course is being sick a lot and the toilets are very low!

The room appearance and decor was good and the bed was very comfortable

The breakfast wasn't very good, especially in terms of options. There needs to be more options for non meet eaters or vegans. Veggy sausages would be good and a range of fruit tea would have been great. Also we had to pay extra for an early check-in which I think wasn't great as we travelled a long way and only wanted to drop luggage off to get to the title parade in Liverpool to save the hassle of checking in late at night.

Excellent breakfast. The hotel is well placed for me to visit family close by. The hotel is clean and comfortable. There is a very good eatery next door and it's well placed generally to visit the area

The bed was little too firm. I had requested a quieter room, and although there was less traffic noise, the room allocated was directly above the main entrance for the hotel. People going outside fir a cigarette were chatting right under the window and even with it closed. They could clearly be heared, so that did disturb us.

The room was clean, good walk in shower and beds were comfy. Breakfast was really good value, choice of cereals, fruit and cooked items. I asked for chilled water and two big jugs were in place within a few minutes and the staff member came to my table to let me know. All the staff were really nice, very friendly and did a good job. Parking easy and there is a pub right by if food is wanted.

The room was very hot in the night, being close to the main road meant it was too noisy to keep the window open. There was a little bit of black mould on the base of the shower wall.

Everything and good value for money. Staffs are very caring and friendly. Facilities are good and the hotel is clean.

Out of their control two young inconsiderate people checked in, smoking weed in their non smoking room and making loud noises on our first night stay . They were evacuate the next morning. We had a pleasant 2 nights afterwards. We'll done to the staff and management.

The location of the hotel to the restaurant we were eating at in the evening. The price of the room was amazing for a Friday stop over.

When we arrived the staff were seemingly uncomfortable about something that had happened previous to us arriving and were talking about it before we were welcomed by a female member of staff. Also hearing someone knocking doors on the landing at 3am in the morning made me nervous.

Friendly cleaning staff, happy to top up room coffee/tea/milk requirements. Easy check in/out.

Breakfast too expensive at the Ibis. Much simpler to walk across the parking lot to the Lymewood restaurant where a superb, self serve hot buffet is available at around 7 pounds only (equivalent to the price of two cups of tea at the Ibis). Same for evening meals at Lymewood where for a similar cost the buffet offers hot cuts of turkey, pork or beef with ALL the trimmings!
