The staff was lovely, very very mindful. They made sure we have a great breakfast offering us everything they had(they had a lot) from the traditional english breakfast, to sandwiches and all sorts of cereals. The room was very comfy, small but very nicely decorated and above all, very very clean(me and my wife work in hospitality and is unavoidable for us notice if something is wrong, but in this case everything was tidy and clean.) We enjoyed a lot even if it was only one night. Definately recomendable for the money. Great value, great place.

The breakfast was incredible and very quick as well. The room was small but done exactly what I needed it to do, it was a place to sleep at night and to keep my belongings safe during the day. The building is quite old but the owners have managed to keep the old rustic feel and original features of the building while still making it suitable for modern use. Wifi connection was strong throughout my visit, only had 1 or 2 moment where I was disconnected for a moment and had to reconnect, but I would expect this on any free network offered by a business. And the staff were so lovely at all times.

Just the small size of the room, but even then, it wasn't that big a deal for me.

Travelling as a family, with 3 primary school aged children we ideally wanted to all be in one room. The Family room at St. Andrews house hotel provided enough space for us to be in one room without feeling cramped. The beautiful architecture of the building with high ceilings was a great bonus to our stay.

One of the beds in the room had a dip in the mattress which made it a little uncomfortable but there were enough beds for us to move around without it affecting our sleep too much.

The staff were amazing. We left to go out one day, and I'd tied the bag. And I said don't worry about anything. Just take the bag. And they didn't. They came and gave it a full clean and made the bed. Breakfast was included which was lovely. Super friendly, super clean, just a super over all environment. If you don't drive but you go for a stay, one stop is 3 mins walking and McDonald's and other things in a retail park are a 10 min walk. Just perfect location and everything.

There's absolutely NOTHING I didn't like.

Nice, cosy room in a house (Room #9 with 3 beds). It was a very quiet place to rest well. Wonderful people at the reception and the dining room. Tasty Breakfast options (Typical English and Continental). Might try the independent annex the next time for a longer stay (we just stayed for a night to rest on the way from Scotland to London).

Can't think of any. Hotel and Rooms could be old-fashioned for some, but that didn't affect our stay in any manner. No lifts for the rooms upstairs in case you need to carry-up big suitcases (we just took out necessary items from the car).

Upon arrival was greeted by a lovely lady who ran through everything with us . Building is lovely inside and out . Nice and clean and well kept . Room was a family room with a double bed and 2 singles . Room was very big as was the bathroom . Again all clean and lovely . Beds comfy Nice and quiet Breakfast was delicious. Good quality sausage and bacon Great value for money

The only thing was the pressure on the shower , it was pretty hard to shower properly. We had been at a muddy motocross day though so we was pretty dirty . Bathroom was lovely though and shower itself . Maybe we just was showering same time as everyone else .

Breakfast was delicious. Full English breakfast and cafetiere coffee. All tasted freshly made and was a good start to the day.

I can't be picky about anything. The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond to help me out with a late arrival and assistance with arranging another room. All the important things are done to a high standard. Security of rooms and good car parking. Quiet rooms. Good towels, decent shower, decorated to a good standard. Well thought through places to leave keys during check out and late check in arrangements. Great communication when I called and had to change my stay at last minute. I wasnt made to feel I was causing them any hassle. A really nice place to spend a night or two, and at a fair and reasonable price.

Room as portrayed in the images, quiet at night, big bright breakfast room, nice staff, easy self-check in, enough parking slots Breakfast: full English, full vegetarian breakfast or scrambled eggs + buffet (croissants, toast, jam, butter, honey,, cereals, apples, bananas and oranges, orange juice, yogurt). We were very happy that they also offered plant based milk.

Very good considering the price. (Mini bathroom without hangers for towels, small room)

Family room had more space than expected, staff were very friendly, and it was small, so very homely. The full English breakfast was excellent, made to order, and they made smaller versions for the kids. It was quiet enough that we could park on site. Only a 10-minute walk to dining options.

Nothing really. A couple of things to know - like most places in the UK, the building is old, so a it’s bit quirky and there are no elevators.

My room (room 8) was small but very cosy. It was clean & airy with a very comfortable single bed. I had to use a shared shower and toilet but as my stay was only 1 night that's no hassle. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. Plenty of cereals, toast, yoghurt and fruit. A cafitiere of coffee on request and a nicely cooked bacon & egg roll served in the large breakfast room got my day off to a great start. The hotel isn't far from the motorway with plenty of good pubs nearby too! There is a large, easily accessible carpark off the road at the front.
