The property was very clean and welcoming. We found our room to be a good size and comfortable. A good large tv in the room that was easy to use. Plenty of hot water. The food in the pub area was excellent.
In need of some updating but it was adequate for a couple of nights. The panelling in the bathroom was a little frayed at the edges but immaculately clean. They served food until 9pm but on a Sunday it was only till 8pm. We the kitchen stayed open till 9pm so missed having a meal. No big deal there is a garage across the road to buy sandwiches.

The price was a little steep but I didn’t book too far in advance either and the continental and cooked breakfast was also included so that probably also pushed the price up slightly. Overall a good place to stay, the bathroom had a bath which was nice but the taps had to be explained to me by the receptionist who was helpful but it wasn’t a good look to need to explain how the taps work. The room size was good and the staff pleasant and friendly. There was no lift to reach the upper floor so I had to carry my heavy luggage up the stairs although the receptionist did help with that also. Kitchen staff were also pleasant and friendly. Location was somewhat isolated and I did have some issues with food delivery but as we were next to the main road there were buses into the town centre. Also, be careful when crossing the road to get to the petrol station to get supplies, you’ll be waiting a while if you choose a bad moment! Overall, a nice hotel though

Good bed, Clean and tidy hotel, quiet location set back away from the main road. 32" mounted TV on the wall and tea coffee facilities in the room. Good location and Hungry Horse decent food options next door. Location has a small Morrisons / Petrol station and a Costa coffee directly opposite and its very close to Junction 2 of M55 so ideal base for Preston or Blackpool. (Or even if your doing the M6 corridor, its 10mins from). Set back from the main road so road noise is minimised. Staff very kind and helpful. Was able to extend an extra hour to 12pm checkout the next day (as it was available to do so).
Little to say here. The rooms are towards the basic side but certainly doesnt impact stay at all.

Cheap room, breakfast included, everything you would need including hairdryer, good location for what we needed (room for after Lytham festival), hot cooked breakfast
Continental breakfast was poor, a muffin or croissant and boxes of cereal but no bowls, milk and fruit juices were low and we got there around 9am (breakfast was 8-10 that day), but OK for price we paid for the room. Couple having a domestic in the car park when we arrived, no fault of the hotel but didn't look good as soon as we arrived. Room a little run down but again OK for the price. Sound travelled in the hotel

Checked in a little later than expected couldn’t raise duty manager the phone only uses automated voice which couldn’t understand that we were trying to check kept asking us to repeat finally found a human who came over from the bar to check us in. We only had two pillows and when asked for two more were told there weren’t any as they were all being used, about an hour later a young man bought us two more he was very apologetic and friendly well done him

The room was spacious, airy and had all you need for an overnight stay. The bed was so comfortable. It was clean and had towels, hand soap and toilet paper. Lovely place to stay and will deffo stay again. I love that the pub was next door as it was handy for breakfast. The gentleman on reception was nice and friendly too which always make it easier when it's a new place. 😀 An absolute bargain for £40!
The only thing I wasn't too pleased with, was the smell of the room. It smelt like beer or lager, as if a drink had been spilt and not cleaned up too well. I'm really sensitive to certain smells, and it almost had a funny whiff which wasn't pleasant. There also was only one accessible plug socket, so I was glad to bring my extension cord.

Great stay for that money! If you search for a B&B type stay, it has the same conditions but for a very sustainable price! We actually needed a stay over after midnight, and there was a guy on the reception (but we did not take a risk for the first time and did a quick check in during the day). We got breakfast separately in a pub (same Greene Kings), and it was available until 12pm. So we got a great sleep over and an amazing late breakfast after the check out! Would definitely stay over next time!

Room (2) was accessible and it had plenty of room for me to move around in my wheelchair. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, and if we needed anything we only had to ask. The one thing I was impressed with was the Toilet roll WHICH WAS a toilet roll and not those 6x6 inch little sheets of horrendous toilet paper, so a good 7 out of ten just for that!!
The hot water tap in the bathroom sink never actually got hot! This needs sorted as soon as is possible. Plus something quite strange, the bedroom carpet was away from the wall on the left hand side of the window, and curled over at the other end at the bed head side. It really needs to be addressed and corrected as soon as possible, as it does not look very nice at all.

This hotel is nothing fancy, but does exactly what you need it to. The room was a good size, was clean and had a nice big comfortable bed. Also the room was away from the road and so very quiet. Great value at £65 for the night, so for the money this is an excellent place to stay. The hotel is very much in the Travel Lodge style where you have a block of rooms behind a pub. So you can get food and drinks in the pub
Not much really - if you want a budget place to stay then this does what you need it to.

I liked the spacious room, the comfort of the bed and cleanliness generally of the room, as well as the option of either a bath or a shower.
The lack of WiFi which in this modern age is essential like that of comfort, so would reconsider my options if I were to stay in the area I visited. I mean, if you're a business guest, you'd need to rely on WiFi, so with such a poor connectivity, wonder why something that's become an integral part of our lives, business or leisure isn't given as standard.
