Our stay at Greenbank Farmhouse was excellent. The farmhouse itself is very attractive from the outside, and even better on the inside, and it's set in lovely Lancashire countryside. Our room was superb, with a very comfortable King-size bed, a spacious bathroom with bath/shower, and lovely views across the fields. The decor in the room and the rest of the house is lovely, and it really makes you feel at home. The hosts, Simon and Sally, are very friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed chatting to them about the history of the farmhouse and the area. The breakfast was superb, and the breakfast room has beautiful views. We would highly recommend Greenbank Farmhouse to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings, with very friendly hosts.

We liked everything about Greenbank Farmhouse!

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, prepared with care by Simon and Sally each morning. Free flow coffee, tea, cereal, yogurt, toasts with jam and butter, full English breakfast. The location was spectacular, offering breath-taking views of the farmland and mountains, which added to the peaceful ambiance. The farmhouse was immaculate, clean, and modern, making our stay very comfortable. Its proximity to Lancaster University was incredibly convenient for our visit to our daughter.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like.

We had a great overnight stay here during a trip by car to Italy. The accommodation was excellent and definitely as described, a lot of thoughtful little touches in the room, very comfortable bed and lots of space, even a couch where we could sit and watch TV. Sally and Simon were very welcoming and friendly and cooked us a beautiful breakfast which we ate while enjoying the lovely view of the surrounding fields. A very quiet location in the heart of the countryside, complete peace and tranquillity. Excellent on-site parking.

Beautiful peaceful location in the country but also convenient for Lancaster. It's about a 10 minute drive to the University and a further 5 or 10 minutes to Lancaster centre. Plenty of places for walking / hiking nearby. The room was very nicely furnished and comfortable with en-suite. Breakfast was also excellent (choices of cooked / cereal / fruits etc.) and the breakfast room (and our bedroom) had lovely views over the fields and fells. The place is owned and run by Sally and Simon, lovely people. Will definitely return. 100% happy with our stay and we highly recommend Green Bank.

Nothing... everything was spot on.

The satnav took us straight to this exceptional farmhouse b and b where we received a warm welcome from our hosts. Our room was one of the best we have stayed in. A large king sized bed, the most wonderful bathroom with his and her basins and a large seating area complete with binoculars to watch the local birds. The breakfast was served in a conservatory overlooking fields and the Pennines.

I think the only problem we had was the fact that the shower was over the bath, I would prefer a walk in..

Breakfast was very good, good selection of fresh fruit. Cooked breakfast was fresh and tasty. Room very clean & comfortable. Great view. Owners kindly left us milk in the fridge and had a choice of teas too. Quality toiletries, too. We were very pleased with our stay, which was just one night.

Size of room was a wee bit small. A spare couple of pillows would've been nice, as the ones on the bed were a bit flat but we managed just fine. Thicker curtains or black out blinds to block out light would be worth considering.

The room is cosy with lovely views over a field of sheep and the wolds of the Forest of Bowland as a background. The bed was very comfortable - not too hard or soft. The place is immaculate. There were some interesting books in our room on the local area as well as some humorous ones. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the same view. Sally and Simon provide excellent accommodation. We’ll return and stay longer to explore the area.

Lovely property, clean and comfortable accommodations, and friendly and helpful hosts, Sally and Simon. Loved our king room with ample space and nice views to the front and back of the property. Large, well outfitted bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with homemade breads and marmalade and made to order choices. Loved sitting in the sun room and watching sheep and birds in the pasture and chatting with Simon. Definitely recommend it!

All good, no complaints.

The hosts are so lovely, welcoming and friendly, we actually felt like we were staying with family. The house is beautiful, exactly the house we would love to live in! The bed was super comfy, huge bath with a shower, we had a stunning view, kettle, tea and coffee, biscuits, fresh milk in the fridge on the landing, wine glasses and bottle opener in the room, little corner rail to hang clothes, adjustable radiator. TV on wall with plenty of channels. Book shelf with a selection of books. We ordered breakfast the night before, there is porridge, fresh farm eggs cooked how you like them, bacon, sausage, black pudding, fried bread, beans, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, cereals, fresh fruit, muesli, toast, fresh home made bread, home made marmalade, jams - all of this is beautifully presented, in the conservatory with a log burner with stunning views, sheep, birds of all types feeding on the wall, fresh coffee, tea and juices. I loved reading the file in the room all about Sally's parents, such interesting lives! Simon showed us some other walks on a map that are local (we had been to Ingleton Falls). We had lovely burgers at The Plough in Galgate which is about 4 miles away, can recommend that and very reasonable prices on food and drinks. Nothing we didn't like!

The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Comfortable beds and fabulous breakfasts and beautiful views over the countryside.

Breakfast was only served up to 9am. Would have liked up to 9:30am or 10am, especially at the weekend. But the breakfast were fabulous and worth the early rise.
