Our stay at Greenbank Farmhouse was excellent. The farmhouse itself is very attractive from the outside, and even better on the inside, and it's set in lovely Lancashire countryside. Our room was superb, with a very comfortable King-size bed, a spacious bathroom with bath/shower, and lovely views across the fields. The decor in the room and the rest of the house is lovely, and it really makes you feel at home. The hosts, Simon and Sally, are very friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed chatting to them about the history of the farmhouse and the area. The breakfast was superb, and the breakfast room has beautiful views. We would highly recommend Greenbank Farmhouse to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings, with very friendly hosts.

Everything was wonderful - clean, comfortable room, fantastic breakfast, welcoming hosts, terrific location.

No complaints here, but good to be aware that check in times are a little restrictive (until 19:00 or up to 21:00 by special arrangement, and not later). I didn't notice this when booking and had to adapt my plans a little to fit in. Depending on the nature of your trip, this may be no drawback at all, and if you can easily arrive by these times then I wholeheartedly recommend starting here!

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, prepared with care by Simon and Sally each morning. Free flow coffee, tea, cereal, yogurt, toasts with jam and butter, full English breakfast. The location was spectacular, offering breath-taking views of the farmland and mountains, which added to the peaceful ambiance. The farmhouse was immaculate, clean, and modern, making our stay very comfortable. Its proximity to Lancaster University was incredibly convenient for our visit to our daughter.

We has a fantastic time at Green Bank Farmhouse and wish we had stayed longer. The property is situated in a beautiful location with lovely views. It is peaceful and tranquil. Sally and Simon are wonderful, friendly hosts. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The fresh milk for our coffee was a very nice touch. Breakfast was delicious and the views from the dining room were stunning. Highly recommended. We will stay there again!

We had a great overnight stay here during a trip by car to Italy. The accommodation was excellent and definitely as described, a lot of thoughtful little touches in the room, very comfortable bed and lots of space, even a couch where we could sit and watch TV. Sally and Simon were very welcoming and friendly and cooked us a beautiful breakfast which we ate while enjoying the lovely view of the surrounding fields. A very quiet location in the heart of the countryside, complete peace and tranquillity. Excellent on-site parking.

Green bank farmhouse is in a beautiful rural location. Although it is very convenient to get to Lancaster and other areas. Simon and Sally are really lovely and welcoming hosts. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and well equipped. Sadly we only stayed one night but would not hesitate to stay again. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The view from the breakfast room was fabulous. We so enjoyed watching your feathered visitors

The satnav took us straight to this exceptional farmhouse b and b where we received a warm welcome from our hosts. Our room was one of the best we have stayed in. A large king sized bed, the most wonderful bathroom with his and her basins and a large seating area complete with binoculars to watch the local birds. The breakfast was served in a conservatory overlooking fields and the Pennines.

I think the only problem we had was the fact that the shower was over the bath, I would prefer a walk in..

Beautiful peaceful location in the country but also convenient for Lancaster. It's about a 10 minute drive to the University and a further 5 or 10 minutes to Lancaster centre. Plenty of places for walking / hiking nearby. The room was very nicely furnished and comfortable with en-suite. Breakfast was also excellent (choices of cooked / cereal / fruits etc.) and the breakfast room (and our bedroom) had lovely views over the fields and fells. The place is owned and run by Sally and Simon, lovely people. Will definitely return. 100% happy with our stay and we highly recommend Green Bank.

Nothing... everything was spot on.

Breakfast was very good, good selection of fresh fruit. Cooked breakfast was fresh and tasty. Room very clean & comfortable. Great view. Owners kindly left us milk in the fridge and had a choice of teas too. Quality toiletries, too. We were very pleased with our stay, which was just one night.

Size of room was a wee bit small. A spare couple of pillows would've been nice, as the ones on the bed were a bit flat but we managed just fine. Thicker curtains or black out blinds to block out light would be worth considering.

The room is cosy with lovely views over a field of sheep and the wolds of the Forest of Bowland as a background. The bed was very comfortable - not too hard or soft. The place is immaculate. There were some interesting books in our room on the local area as well as some humorous ones. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the same view. Sally and Simon provide excellent accommodation. We’ll return and stay longer to explore the area.
