The staff were absolutely lovely and really accommodating. We arrived late for check in and it was well organised for us to access our room without trouble. Breakfast was yummy and there was a good choice. Room was fab, good size and had everything you need. Overall excellent value for money!

My partner and I stayed for two nights and we absolutely loved it. We did find the bed a bit squeaky with even the slightest movement, which was a tad annoying through the night when the rest of the building was quiet but it was generally comfy. Rooms were quite warm in the night but not unbearable and would be easy enough to open a window when the weather is a bit warmer. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff were really accommodating when we came down just before the end of breakfast (9:30) only suggestions would be that it could do with running until a little later, maybe even just until 10am when the cafe opens (or offer room service at an additional cost.) Appreciate this might be tricky when other diners start to arrive.

Just got back from a lovely night away at The Priory. We reserved Tarnbrook Apartment as looking for ground floor accommodation due to taking our 14yr old Border Collie. We were surprised at how big the accommodation was & it felt like home from home. The apartment was spacious, homely & the bed really comfortable. It’s open plan, with lounge, kitchen, dining room, bedroom & bathroom. I had contacted Julie prior to our stay as the cafe/restaurant closes at 4pm & we didn’t want to venture out for an evening meal so ordered afternoon tea, which Julie had kindly left in the fridge, it was tasty & plentiful, variety of sandwiches, sausage rolls, fresh cream cake & scones. We slept well as the area is so peaceful & just what we needed. Breakfast is included in the price & there are plenty of choices, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, then full English, eggs Benedict etc. overall the whole stay was a lovely experience & filled our expectations of a quiet night away with peace & relaxation. To say we live only 30 mins away we’ve never been to Scorton & we will visit The Priory again. Thank you Julie & staff for your hospitality.

The staff were so helpful and friendly The Sunday lunch was delicious The breakfast was excellent The area was beautiful Nice little garden center for gifts across the road Very clean apartment

Just a few things When upgrade on booking.com to apartment for 10 pound more, was pleased but then got a message it would be 10 pound more with a toilet so payed 20 pound for upgrade but that's booking.com fault , ,the toilet seat was broken ,the couch in lounge area was so uncomfortable could not sit on it ,,we have stayed in the rooms only other times they are very comfortable and clean ,if we booked again probably won't spend the extra on upgrade

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for a wedding we were attending and our bed was really snug and comfy. Breakfast was lovely and there was plenty to choose from.

Wish we'd booked a bigger room, but that was our mistake as I don't travel light 🙈 and there were other options to choose from. The only thing I could complain about really, was I couldn't get the shower to operate consistently. It was either for too hot, or far too cold! But it was a lovely weekend all round really.

The staff were brilliant and very friendly. The food was fantastic as well. The room was a decent size and was clean. I would certainly recommend The Priory to others for the staff and food alone.

The TV in the room is quite poor with a barely working remote. The cups they give you are really bad. They don't hold much of a brew and you have to stir them slowly or you end up throwing half of it out. Please just provide normal cups. Also, when checking in amd out we had to go and find someone as there was no one around.

Extremely clean modern apartment and spacious, lots of natural light and modern kitchen and bathroom.

The apartments look brand new which is fair enough but they are just completely soulless. White walls sparse furniture and no love whatsoever. Fair enough if it’s cheap but £145 a night you expect a little more. Small things missing or not working; 1) plugs at bedside not working on one side. 2) no full length mirror only a tiny mirror in the bathroom. 3) toiletries in bathroom It just needs some warmth injecting into it and it’d be well worth the money. Feature walls, a sideboard to put things on, more pictures on the walls. Anything would improve the feel of it as a guest rather than the cold rooms you currently get. Add a full length mirror it’s important!!

Quaint B&B with lovely staff. Excellent full English breakfast and service. Liked the extra touches of bottled water & hot chocolate in room. Good sized bathroom with large tub. Lovely restaurant.

The room we stayed in was far to small for comfort with no comfortable chairs to sit, (wouldn't fit), just x1 hardbacked oldschool dining room style chair for dressing table. Had to sit on bed to watch a 'super tiny' TV :( which was not very comfortable. Room, stairs and entrance could do with some TLC.

Lovely little place perfect for wyresdale weddings if you are going to one. It's literally bottom on the hill. Breakfast was lovely and offered enough to make sure we were full. Plenty of selection of tea and coffee and didn't mind filling it up in the morning.

Little bumpy and very narrow roads leading up to the accommodation. Doesn't serve evening meals had to go out for a meal but there isn't anything within walking distance. Very very dark roads at night with no lighting so be mindful when driving or even walking around the area.

Lovely, clean little spacious apartment with everything we required for a night's stay. The lounge area was useful with very comfortable sofa and there were 2 TVs, in that area and sleeping area, plus a lovely kitchenette. The property was lovely and there was a bar, cafe, outdoor seating and plenty of car parking. The little village was quiet and pretty and we could have a nice walk. Very pleased to have found this place to stay.

The only minor issue we had was the TV signal that cut out from time to time whilst watching a couple of programmes that we could only view through Apps as there didn't seem to be an aerial signal for watching channels. However this didn't impact massively on our one night stay.

Friendly call earlier in the day to organise key being left for us; comfortable apartment / bedsit. Very good kitchen area, good shower and separate storage area for hanging clothes. Good breakfast. Good guide to where to find an evening meal. We recommend The Bay Horse for an evening meal. It was outstanding.

Impossible to sit on the sofa and watch the TV comfortably. There were lots of dead leaves in the car park and around the door to the apartment, which means they blew in when the door was opened. Adequate toiletries.
