Perfect place to stay, around 30 min drive to Windermere. Lodges located on the lake some are of direct view on the lake , while others are a few meters away. The lodge has 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets , a living room with a sofa bed and well- equipped kitchen. The lodge has all the things you might need : washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board, and nice terrace with table and chairs. The view is stunning, and the environment is perfect and safe for the family. I liked the ducks and swans around. There are swimming pool, water sports club, kids' playgrounds, and indoor kids' entertainment area. There is a small grocery next to the reception.

The only problem I faced is the cars noise coming from the motorway, as I had to open windows during my sleep.

Lovely setting with view over Lake. Well organised, with friendly helpful staff. Spent a lot of time in the leisure centre. Kids loved the inflatable sessions. Shame jacuzzi was out of action. Easy to book slots. Lodge was well equipped and comfortable.

Was disappointed you weren’t allowed to swim in Lake. Would be great if you could make a small area where it was safe to swim outside (wild swimming is so refreshing and fun). Kitchen could do with addition of a flat baking tray.

It was a pleasant stay until we had something stolen and staff couldn't check the cameras to see what happened. Just make sure you lock all doors and windows and do not leave anything unattended, even if staff are in close proximity because guests have no qualms about stealing...even your drink! Update: I actually considered removing this review last week because overall, I do like Pine Lake Resort and have had a pleasant experience here. However, after reading the response from management, I felt it was important to clarify a few things and address the dismissive tone. Firstly, I did not leave the unopened drinks “outside the children's arcade.” They were placed on the counter right next to the reception desk within clear view of the receptionist who took my payment and directly in front of the CCTV cameras (which I was told were not working). I spoke with the manager the following day and was again met with excuses. This time suggesting it could have been someone with autism, referencing a separate incident from the week before. That kind of speculation felt inappropriate and avoided the issue entirely. Rather than take any responsibility or offer to replace the drink, I had to buy another one myself. It wasn’t the missing item that soured the experience, it was the attitude. A simple, honest response acknowledging the incident and showing concern would have gone a long way. Instead, the response here unfortunately reflects the same lack of accountability I experienced in person.

Thieves and kleptomaniacs about. Cameras not operating.

The apartments are ideal for a self-catering holiday. We both came for a full week holiday and the apartment was perfectly suited for that. It was our third stay although - usually - we come only for long weekend stays, but we decided on a full week stay and it met and exceeded our needs and expectations. Regular texts are helpful and useful keeping in regular contact keeps a distant but hands on approach which were nice. The location next to M6 and for us walking in the Lake District made the location well suited for an adventurous week too. We shall be returning again for another break with you at some point in the future, whether it be a long weekend or another full week with you. Thank You.

Not a lot to say negatively really.

The property is amazing! It’s a perfect place for Lake District and for a large group getaway. The location is fantastic; surrounded by clear blue lake, and lovely atmosphere. The lodges were so spacious, not like the other ones I’ve been to. There were lots of storage spaces, bedroom was big, as well as lounge and kitchen. Eveything was modern. I loved the facilities of swimming, however, the pool is small and not deep. Staff were very friendly and it was so easy to ask them questions. Instructions were easy to follow, and we barely had any issues. Lastly, such a good prize for the lodges.

Can’t think of anything as much. I would of liked at least one side of the swimming pool to be deep, for those adventurous swimmers.

The apartment was superb and immaculate. Everything has been well thought out. Cooking food isn't easy as you have a microwave and a 2 ring hob. Personally believe that if they had air fryers they would be perfect. Also blackout blind in kitchen quite hard to get apartment dark. I would like to have a screen separating kitchen and bed area. But being picky as I think it is close to being bang on. Leisure facilities were excellent and I can't fault them great location to all attractions

Microwave oven very bright digits light up room at night. Door on bathroom opens inward which makes getting in to it quite difficult. Restaurant soon got behind with covers on a very quiet night, menus not appealing enough and specials were the same all week.

Excellent, clean resort overlooking a beautiful lake with plenty of on site activities. We particular enjoyed the peaceful and scenic atmosphere, and the Lodge was very comfortable. We took advantage of the swimming pool on site which was included in the booking! Also enjoyed the speed boat activity (chargeable) provide by the on-site watersport company.

Not really a complaint as everything else was so good and even though I didn't play tennis, the tennis court had a vast amount of (catkins) piled up on the one side of the court, must have been post pollen season, seeing as Wimbledon tennis championship was on at the time of my visit, would have been nice to play a bit of tennis but didn't fancy playing on that court.

Everything. The location was stunning and easy to reach. Once there many buses stop at the resort so you can leave the car and explore Kendal, Lancaster and of course the Lake District without the hassle of driving or parking. The lake was clean and well maintained. High quality kitchen and appliances, plenty of fluffy towels and spare bed linen. Danielle was on reception throughout our stay and was super friendly and helpful. The lady in reception at the swimming pool was too. The whole place was simply wonderful.

It is isn't very easy to stay for three nights. It seems to be priced more favourably for two night stays as the prices rocket when you add an extra night making it too expensive to add . Obviously this is not a resort issue at all, simply our not wanting to go home. Also we would have preferred a check in time of 15:00 and check out time a little later of 11:00 like most of the places we stay in.
