Perfect place to stay, around 30 min drive to Windermere. Lodges located on the lake some are of direct view on the lake , while others are a few meters away. The lodge has 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets , a living room with a sofa bed and well- equipped kitchen. The lodge has all the things you might need : washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board, and nice terrace with table and chairs. The view is stunning, and the environment is perfect and safe for the family. I liked the ducks and swans around. There are swimming pool, water sports club, kids' playgrounds, and indoor kids' entertainment area. There is a small grocery next to the reception.

The only problem I faced is the cars noise coming from the motorway, as I had to open windows during my sleep.

Lovely setting with view over Lake. Well organised, with friendly helpful staff. Spent a lot of time in the leisure centre. Kids loved the inflatable sessions. Shame jacuzzi was out of action. Easy to book slots. Lodge was well equipped and comfortable.

Was disappointed you weren’t allowed to swim in Lake. Would be great if you could make a small area where it was safe to swim outside (wild swimming is so refreshing and fun). Kitchen could do with addition of a flat baking tray.

Our property was clean modern and we have lovely clean fluffy towels and bedding also soaps and tea coffee

Couldn’t fault it

We loved the cosy and comfortable cabin. It had everything you needed to cook your own meals. There was a comfortable dining area in the cabin. The bed was very comfortable and we always had good night sleeps. The bathroom had all the amenities required and was clean, modern and stylish. The television was good to watch in bed. The weather wasn’t great when we went but we took part in many indoor activities at the park in the games centre.

We were asked to pay another £100 deposit on arrival. While this was paid back it always sets the wrong tone for the break. We also didn’t enjoy the hyper sensitivity of the fire alarm which went off as soon as we started cooking. We had to open all windows and doors which made the cabin chilly. My fiancé then caught a cold because of this.

At 665 for 3 nights in holiday season, this lodge is a steal, I would compare it better than the best class in Haven. The activities are less, but okay for us. We didn't try the restaurant, but cooking at the lodge was no issues, we brought supplies after reading other reviews. Chromecast works well, we brought some board games which were quite good. The beds were quite generrous and the sofa bed made it quite comfortable to sleep 6. I liked walking around the resort on the slightly foresty trail, along the sheep and meadows. My son liked playing with the ducks around the lake.

This is really nitpicking, but I wish we had second car parking (or atleast known if the neighbors aren't going to use it), since our friends had to park a bit away while we parked next to the door, which made it slightly awkward. We also had a leaky shower hose, but we didn't care enough and I would assume the folks at Pine Lake Resort would have fixed it quick, had we reported. I would perhaps ask them to keep checking the wardrobe doors and showers as part of their daily housekeeping.

It was spacious, light and airy and had everything you needed. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. There was a lot on offer onsite and it was also close by lots of things. I was really impressed by the amount of gluten free options on the menu and the take away option was great! As a solo traveler, I felt safe walking around even when it was dark.

There was a lot of road noise. While you can see the lake from most of the lodges, reception made it sound like the members get the best lodges so it did feel like the game was rigged! The sofa bed was uncomfortable as a sofa and was missing cushions which might have helped. I marked lower for cleaning - it wasn’t that anything was dirty, more wear and tear in places.

The bed settee in the living room looked brand new - not a single mark on it, unfortunately it's the most uncomfortable thing I've ever sat on. The toilet paper looks like the worst brown recycled paper ever that doesn't always flush away on 1 flushing. Apart from these minor things we had a great time, we arrived at 15.10 and our accommodation was ready so able to check straight in. We were allocated 225 so a stones throw from the leisure centre and steps away from the main hub Fabulous big allocated parking space Food was decent in the restaurant we ate there both nights, not bad priced and good selection on the menu. My bf tried the hobgoblin stout as an alternative to Guinness, he loved it The park is very relaxing and a great place to stay for a couple of days. Would happily return as plenty to do in the area. Levens hall is worth a short drive

A beautiful big lake, birds singing in the trees surrounding, looked very tranquil. Nice sized cabin, all the rooms had plenty of space, and the kitchen had everything you need. Good location for driving out to different places. Good singer on at night had everyone up dancing by the end!

The cabins could do with a bit of ‘tlc’. In our cabin the bed sheets on the double bed had stains on (what looked like blood) and the sofa bed in the front room was also heavily stained and very uncomfortable to sit on. The bathroom toilet didn’t flush too well but the other toilet was ok. We could hear the road works at night behind us but that couldn’t be helped. We were on the end so it was a 15min walk to the bar/ restaurant leisure areas. The pool was very cold! Ok food, pub grub.

We stayed in a studio lodge which was close to all the facilities and parking. The lodge had everything we needed for a short break. The lake is gorgeous and the leisure facilities are very good. I loved being able to walk easily and use of the pool, steam room and sauna was a real delight for me. The staff were excellent, smiling, helpful and very friendly. The reception staff were lovely and the staff in the bistro were exceptionally nice.

The chairs in the lodge are not comfortable so it was difficult to relax in the evenings. I was aware of traffic noise outside but got used to it. It didn’t bother me inside

Lodge was really lovely. Good size and good size bedrooms with two bathrooms. The double bedroom was en suite. Bath in other bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Nice touch having washing up liquid, kitchen roll and toilet rolls supplied and replaced when lodge was cleaned. Regular text messages from reception regarding entertainment and cautions. There are plenty of plug sockets in every room. Good size tv in the lounge and small tv in the master bedroom. Wardrobes were a really good size. Plenty of draw space too. Lovely outside area to sit. Lake is lovely and clean. Water sports site is really good.

The lodge wasn't as clean as it could have been. When towels were changed, one of the towels had a stain on it, we didn't use it as they did supply plenty. There was what looked like a coffee stain on one of bedroom floors. We reported that as they said they would charge us for any damages. Reception kept sending messages to say not to fish and not to feed the ducks/swans/geese, but other visitors kept doing this.
