Great location, lovely apartment, everything you need,

Bit strange you can't take the dog in the garden, we have 2 elderly dogs who can't walk far so we booked here thinking we could let them play in the garden. Bad colour carpet with dogs in winter, spent all weekend scrubbing the carpet even though we wiped the dogs paws before letting them back in, a door mat at the door might help, it was raining hard all weekend!!

Great location, and very tidy and modern property. Easy to access the apartment and very spacious.

Bed was a bit small, lots of room within the bedroom to have a bigger bedroom. Some of the lights throughout didn’t have lightbulbs in, so only half the lights worked. Eg, no upstairs hallway light (in Grasmere), only one of the bed side lamps was plugged in (couldn’t plug in the 2nd as cord was too short). Foot traffic from other apartments can be heard.

This was a very clean and safe environment to be in didn't see any staff at all but that was okay check in was simple enough we stayed in the hawkshead suite on the top floor was very quiet and peacefull and the shower is to die for REALLY GOOD. The gardens at thr rear of the property are relaxing and well looked after.The ulverston village has lots of places to eat and drink wich we enjoyed as we don't get out often we had food at the mill house that was grate well recommended to anyone staying the locals was very polite and helpful if you get lost along your way.

Thr Only down side we found was that the tv didn't work probably and also the WIFI code given didn't work that's all the rest was bang on well done to the staff and owners 👏

The most incredible welcome when we arrived. As soon as we stepped into the corridor to check in we just noticed such high, high standards. Incredibly clean and so very tidy. The room itself was up a couple of staircases and the wonderful lady that greeted us even called me to stay the room was ready and took our bags up!! The whole apartment space, the even down to the items in the draws and cupboards, just felt like a home from home. Spacious. Good comfy beds and the shower of our dreams!

Poor self check in information. Hadn't been sent a code until after I had arrived at the property. The emergency phone number went to answer machine. Luckily another visitor indicated that there was someone on site. No coffee maker. No microwave dishes. The recommended car park opposite is very expensive. There is a car park 2 mins away just £1.30 for a 24 hour stay. This should have been mentioned in pre arrival information. Dogs are using the lawn area as a toilet- I witnessed owner out with poo bags from my sitting area. Shame as the next day children were sitting on the grass in the same area! Sitting area needs a side table or coffee table as nowhere to put cups down apart from the floor when sitting on the settee.

The apartment was absolutely immaculate, there needs to be a word above clean, as saying it was clean doesn’t do it justice. Beautiful throughout and the secret garden was lovely!! Beautiful building too and overall very impressive when you arrive. Parking directly across was really handy too, no annoying long walk from parking with your luggage. Lovely little touches on arrival of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuit sachets, along with dog bowl, treat and blanket and bed for them too, this was lovely. Perfect location too, within 30 seconds walk you are in the centre with lots of lovely pubs, shops, restaurants etc, making this a really convenient place to stay if your not wanting to drive out anywhere.

I wouldn’t say ‘didn’t like’ but we found the apartment we were in was very small, it was me, my husband, our 13 year old daughter and two small dogs, and in the lounge area there was only a small 2 seater sofa (sofabed) meaning in the evening when we were wanting to relax it wasn’t comfortable, and my husband was sat on the floor which obviously is not ideal. That’s the only thing that let the stay down and the room would be suited to maximum two people/couple etc not a family room.

We had an absolutely wonderful 2-day stay at Longsdale House Luxury Apartments in Ulverston. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The apartment was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and equipped with every amenity we could need for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for exploring the Lake District, with easy access to local attractions while still being tucked away in a peaceful, charming area. As we previously lived in Ulverston we knew the location was perfect for us. The duvets were great, light weight but warm. The shower was fantastic. The rooms were very clean.

The hairdryer was good however there wasn’t an electric socket near the one mirror in the bedroom. We didn’t make a note of the keypad number and when departing we couldn’t remember the number to access the pad to leave the key. The message was time sensitive and the number was no longer on my phone. Luckily a lovely member of staff arrived and was able to help us.

Sticky lock on front door, it was difficult to lock and unlock. The front door handle was very loose making locking front door difficult. I reported it and they seem unaware of the problem. The window blinds appears to be suited for very tall individuals with long reach, difficult to open and close blinds. Natural ventilation is near none existence, can't open main windows, only openable small window is in the bathroom.

Location is great. It's close to carparks and a stones throw away from local pubs, shops and restaurants. Accommodation is excellent 👌 👌 Clean, luxuriously presented and a lovely place to stay. Check in and out was easy and owner Neil and his team are delightful. Simply splendid!

I loved everything... But being a lady of a certain age I get very warm sometimes, so a fan in a room would be a bonus. Especially when one is drying their hair post shower time.
