Location perfect, comfortable bed and a good choice for breakfast.

Being asked for £10 for my cooked breakfast. It seems breakfast is continental. The email received from Booking.com clearly stated Superior Room and breakfast. Not Superior room and continental breakfast. Disappointed by this.

Quiet location.

Room/building not very warm. Cost for full English breakfast too much. Need to make you aware of need to put card on door for cleaning room. 1 packet of biscuits 2 persons. I chocolate drink sachet between 2 persons.

Absolutely loved our stay. The staff were nothing short of Incredible. Martha was absolutely charming. But it's the cleanliness that absolutely shocked me. It was just ridiculously clean even the windows. Bravo! We've not seen anything like in a very long time (if ever).

The only criticism of the whole stay was that the bed was really rather uncomfortable. It was quite hard and a bit lumpy, and probably could have done with being changed. If that was updated we would be back there again next month. Cannot recommend the guest house enough!!! The bed was literally the only thing that stopped this Guest house from getting a perfect 10 score. (Martha, let us know when it's been changed and we will be straight back).

We chose not to have breakfast as a cooked breakfast was an extra £17 and we felt this should have been included in the price. When we booked it included breakfast, it did not say except cooked breakfast.

The folder in the bedroom. We were greeted by the daughter of the owner who was lovely. When we got to our room, we read the information which made us uncomfortable as it was full of you can’t do this, that and the other and gave us a view of the owners which wasn’t very flattering. We think the folder needs softening in the way the information is written. When we came down this morning, we were greeted by the owner who was lovely and very different from the picture we had built from the information folder..

The staff were friendly, and approachable, very helpful about what was happening in the area. The Hotel and room were very clean. The bathroom was stocked with full size shampoo, hand soap and hand lotion. Rather than "holiday" size versions. Coffee machine for tea and coffee etc in the room. Lots of options. Good size breakfast both continental, and fry up. and various others. Breakfast also included , good gluten free options. Fan and heater available in the room. A very nice quiet garden, for relaxing in. On site parking, so no having to find a place to leave the car at night whilst in the hotel. 2 minutes walk to Windermere centre. All in all a very good holiday location.

Honestly found nothing to criticise.

The Beaumont is a a lovely place to stay, with a large customer car park. Everywhere is exceptionally clean and tidy and your comfort is considered in everything they do. Our room and bed was very comfortable and the shower is efficient. The owners are warm and friendly and very attentive. My only criticism is that there is a continental breakfast included with your room and a full English is an extra £15 per person per night. The Beaumont is very well located and only a couple of minutes walk to Windermere and half an hours walk into Bowness. I highly recommend The Beaumont and will definitely return.

Nice territory, lovely owners of the place. There is a parking on the territory (which was plus for us). Room was of reasonable size, quite comfortable stay.

Can’t say I liked the quality of products for breakfast, bacon and sausages was okay (but not excellent). Also would be nice to have more fresh fruits (instead of fruit salad). But that’s my personal thing. Would be good to have some toiletries, like shampoo, so visitors don’t need to think about carrying more luggage. Other than that, we enjoyed with our stay.

An absolutely amazing guest house! From private parking to large rooms, an excellent continental breakfast to beautiful views. The Beaumont Guest House had it all. With welcoming hosts and staff it is truly made to be like a home away from home. The room was decorated to perfection, enchanting you with both a classic yet modern decor. It was truly a breathtaking experience and a place I will certainly love to stay again.

There is simply not a single bad thing that I could say about Beaumont. Everything there was far above any expectations I had, and I can happily day that there was nothing that I didn't like!

Lovely hosts and a charming historic building. Bedroom was comfortable and spacious with a modern en suite bathroom, the confidential breakfast had a good selection of cereal, yogurt, fruit, with tea and coffee and toast offered (full cooked breakfast was extra). From the moment we arrived early to leaving, the hosts were nothing but friendly and welcoming, offering a lot of tips and advice about travelling around the local area. Next time I’m in the lakes I’d definitely stay here again.

The staff were fabulous! We were able to leave the car upon arrival and head into the town of Windermere and explore prior to check-in. Simone, the owner, was very helpful and explained everything we needed to know and answered any questions we had. Accommodation was clean, tidy, and full of beautiful decor. We were placed in room 12 on the second floor, which provided a lovely view towards the lake area. The guest house is a short walk of 1.5 miles to Bowness Bay and only minutes from the town. The room provided high-quality toiletries and an array of good quality tea, coffee, etc. A cooked breakfast is provided upon request for an additional cost of £10 and was extremely tasty, and service was to a high standard and very quick.. Simone was able to provide us with places to visit in which are well worth a visit. I would highly recommend the Beaumont! Unfortunately, due to time, we weren't able to visit the health club on this occasion.

All in all, it's a fabulous place!
