( make sure you close your side of the dummy waiter, to preserve modesty ha) The Bowness-on-Windermere Suite had its own private patio and I’m aware The Ambleside suite has its own private patio ( more private than the Bowness ) TV in bathroom Air bath amazing Mood lighting The huge bed was so comfortable The bedding was so clean and good quality The mini bar well stocked and not expensive A vertical electric fan in room A walk in wardrobe- everything out of site Cafetiere and ground coffee in room ! Good hospitality tray

Absolutely Nothing !!

I had a fantastic breakfast during my stay at the hotel — definitely one of the highlights of the visit. The variety on offer was excellent, with both hot and cold options, and everything was fresh and well-presented. I particularly enjoyed the “fluffy scrambled eggs and perfectly crispy bacon”, which were clearly made with care. The staff were friendly and attentive, keeping everything well-stocked and checking in to make sure guests had what they needed. The dining area was clean, welcoming, and had a relaxed atmosphere — a lovely way to start the day. Overall, a great experience that made my stay even more enjoyable. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting!

We have stayed in a lot of really nice hotels in the lakes but Windermere suites will take some beating. The room was to a very high standard, spotlessly clean and had some extra special touches that made our stay even better. Loved the fact that we had our breakfast in our dressing gowns which was delivered to our room at a time of our choice, very relaxing and we didnt have to rush to get ready. A little bit of luxury for the weekend. Will definitely be going back. Close to the centre of Windermere, lovely restaurants and bars and also a nice walk to Bowness and the lake.

Can't find any faults

Windermere suites was absolutely amazing, everything was beyond perfect. The room was cleaned to a very high standard, the bed was very comfortable and the linen was high quality. The bathroom and spa bath was absolutely beautiful. The huge choice and portion size of the breakfasts are unbelievable, you won't go hungry!! Vicky offers an exceptionally high standard and nothing was too much trouble for her. A very nice lady and so friendly. We would highly recommend Windermere suites and look forward to staying there ourselves again.

Absolutely nothing to dislike

We recently celebrated our Wedding Anniversary and my wife's Birthday, so we were looking for something really special and suitable for both dates. We, Booked a 3 night stay from the 29,Sept,24, until 02,Oct, 24. We chose to stay in the Keswick Suite Room, at the Windermere Suites. Our first Impressions, from entering the reception area and meeting Vicky, the host, we we're very impressed, we both knew instantly, we had made the right choice for our stay. Vicky, greeted us with a warm welcome, friendly professional smile, we felt like we had known her for years. Everything at the Windermere Suites, looks to be finished to a high class standard, with a boutique style decor appearance. Vicky, was very professional and obviously has great pride in her establishment that she has built up and created over time, she has a great sense of style and class. My wife and I, were both shown upto the Keswick Suite, personally by Vicky, we were again both very impressed, on entering the room. The room is large in appearance with great boutique style lighting, with views overlooking the rear gardens to be property, viewed through the patio doors. Vicky, clearly, explained to us both, how everything works, in the Keswick Suite, the switches to operate the Spa Bath, TV above the Spa Bath, mood lighting ect. She explained how everything is sanitised and why, she does this procedure after every guest, which shows she is very aware of modern day life. Also the things she has learned during COVID. All remote controls are kept in clear sealed protective sleeves to prevent the spread of germs and contamination, which is good to know, once you know how many germs can be on a remote control. So Vicky, does, the best she can to protect her guest's. The Spa bath, in the Keswick Suite,is excellent and also regenerates the water about 20 minutes after it's switched off to clean through the powerful jets after each use.

constructive Only : Room Safe: 🥴 too low for my knees and eyesight. (common problem) everywhere tho. Mini Bar: could do with a diet lemonade option as a choice. Tapp'd Cocktails option: These come in small bottles and cans very popular, no mixing required would be a nice touch.😊

The owner and staff looked after our every need they arranged an early check in knowing we had stayed local the previous night due to a cottage we booked being substandard. Nothing was to much trouble the breakfast being delivered to the room was a great touch. The room facilities are great and defiantly recommend a stay as we will be returning.

The only thing i didn't like was we only had a 4 night stay wish we had stayed the whole duration of our holiday 7 days.

We had booked Ambleside suite which was lovely There is a parking space adjacent to the suite where I assumed we would be parking our car which would have been great as we are disabled Unfortunately from checking in at 230pm on Saturday to checking out at 10.30am on Monday there was a blue BMW parked there so we couldn't the car never moved for 2 days Not the fault of the hotel but how very inconsiderate of whoever parked there Also on our last night whoever was next door yo us had a blazing argument around 10.15pm which disturbed us again why are people so inconsiderate of others

Comfortable room with excellent facilities, mini-bar if wanted spring waters free of charge, large selection of teas also a safe if wanted, though in our case it being located on the floor impractical. Walk-in wardrobe area contains the tea making and drinks facilities. Breakfast arrives at requested time period on a trolley, hot foods arrive hot and selection of cold / hot breakfast very good. Our room 'Patterdale suite' was big enough for us with tv in bedroom lounge a 2 seater settee and table and chairs. The large 'air-bath' has a tv also, there is a walk-in shower with excellent flow of water and easy control handle.

All good, would recommend and definitely stay again, though long drive from Cardiff so we stayed over in Chirk for a day and night to break the journey, drove back from Windermere with one comfort break took 7 hours. If long distance journey recommend going day early to break the trip by car, of course could arrive by train the station is only a 20 minute walk through the town centre which is 10 minutes from Windermere Suite.

Superb room very comfortable own entrance with patio . Comfortable bed and amazing bathroom with spa bath . The best minibar I have ever seen . The breakfast was lovely and delivered thru a hatch so we were never disturbed . I could go on

Nothing

The suite we had was fantastic, lots of space, great tea/coffee choices and mini bar. It was all lovely and clean. The bathroom was really luxurious, as was the bedding and furnishings/decor. Breakfast was top quality and very generous portions, really couldn’t fault it. All staff were welcoming, friendly and approachable, and happy to help however they could. A short stroll from the centre of Windermere where we found lots of great places to eat, and Bowness-on-Windermere was within walking distance too!

The only thing that let it down a little was the sofa in the living room was uncomfortable when we sat to watch a film, but with another tv in the bedroom, we just moved and watched in bed!
