Location perfect, comfortable bed and a good choice for breakfast.

Being asked for £10 for my cooked breakfast. It seems breakfast is continental. The email received from Booking.com clearly stated Superior Room and breakfast. Not Superior room and continental breakfast. Disappointed by this.

Quiet location.

Room/building not very warm. Cost for full English breakfast too much. Need to make you aware of need to put card on door for cleaning room. 1 packet of biscuits 2 persons. I chocolate drink sachet between 2 persons.

Nice territory, lovely owners of the place. There is a parking on the territory (which was plus for us). Room was of reasonable size, quite comfortable stay.

Can’t say I liked the quality of products for breakfast, bacon and sausages was okay (but not excellent). Also would be nice to have more fresh fruits (instead of fruit salad). But that’s my personal thing. Would be good to have some toiletries, like shampoo, so visitors don’t need to think about carrying more luggage. Other than that, we enjoyed with our stay.

The Beaumont is a a lovely place to stay, with a large customer car park. Everywhere is exceptionally clean and tidy and your comfort is considered in everything they do. Our room and bed was very comfortable and the shower is efficient. The owners are warm and friendly and very attentive. My only criticism is that there is a continental breakfast included with your room and a full English is an extra £15 per person per night. The Beaumont is very well located and only a couple of minutes walk to Windermere and half an hours walk into Bowness. I highly recommend The Beaumont and will definitely return.

An absolutely amazing guest house! From private parking to large rooms, an excellent continental breakfast to beautiful views. The Beaumont Guest House had it all. With welcoming hosts and staff it is truly made to be like a home away from home. The room was decorated to perfection, enchanting you with both a classic yet modern decor. It was truly a breathtaking experience and a place I will certainly love to stay again.

There is simply not a single bad thing that I could say about Beaumont. Everything there was far above any expectations I had, and I can happily day that there was nothing that I didn't like!

The staff were fabulous! We were able to leave the car upon arrival and head into the town of Windermere and explore prior to check-in. Simone, the owner, was very helpful and explained everything we needed to know and answered any questions we had. Accommodation was clean, tidy, and full of beautiful decor. We were placed in room 12 on the second floor, which provided a lovely view towards the lake area. The guest house is a short walk of 1.5 miles to Bowness Bay and only minutes from the town. The room provided high-quality toiletries and an array of good quality tea, coffee, etc. A cooked breakfast is provided upon request for an additional cost of £10 and was extremely tasty, and service was to a high standard and very quick.. Simone was able to provide us with places to visit in which are well worth a visit. I would highly recommend the Beaumont! Unfortunately, due to time, we weren't able to visit the health club on this occasion.

All in all, it's a fabulous place!

It was clean, comfortable and in a superb location. If you're wanting to look round Windermere, you're in the right place, if you're looking to see a bit of the lake, then it is only a 15/20 minute walk which may be good for some. For us, it was just right, and allowed us to see all of Windermere which was lovely. The hotel was lovely, and you are looked after the moment you arrive. A wonderful find.

Very little. Can't think of much really. Some may find it harder to walk to certain places if you're wanting to go to Bowness.

Simona was an excellent hostess in this traditional stone built Victorian guest house. The room we stayed in contained beautiful mahogany furniture with a four poster bed and chaise longue. It was spacious with an en suite bathroom, and everything was super clean and well maintained. The guesthouse was very quiet, which enabled good sleep, and the continental breakfast was a home from home with yoghurt, fresh fruit, and seeded bread toast with a wide selection of spreads and conserves.

Beaumont Guest House is in a superb location, providing convenient access to all of Windermere’s restaurants, bars and shops. Windermere itself makes for a great day out and having the on-site parking makes it very accessible. The Guest House itself is spotless and the small double room that we booked was comfortable. Our hosts were very attentive and were able to recommend a good restaurant for us to dine at during the evening. Having access to the off-site health club is also a nice touch and only a short drive away. Although there are cheaper options in the area, I believe that Beaumont Guest House represents the best value, providing a premium experience for a reasonable price.

Nothing of note. Our room is on the smaller side, but we did book the small double room so this did not come as a shock.

Warm, welcoming and extremely polite staff ready to help you in any way they could and were there to greet us and to bid us farewell. Very nice room with a quality coffee machine and lovely bathroom. Bed was fantastic and some of the best sleeps I've had in a long time.

Only thing that would have been nice would be some ambient lighting in the room maybe from a lamp or something as we had to put the ceiling lights on in the evening which are a bit harsh on the eyes compared to lamp light.
