Close to the bus station and the Guild Ale House. On the edge of town towards Deepdale Stadium. Which is still some walk. From the 7th floor good view of the football stadium. The rooms and showers were great. Clean. Breakfast was very good value. And very nice. Superb staff at reception and breakfast. There is car parking and if full you can park in the bus station. Stayed here several times.

Nothing really. When entering the hotel late you have to walk up one flight of stairs to get the lift. Perhaps there is a way to call the security card, but we couldn’t find it. Just an issue if you suffer from mobility issues.

Lovely modern room, the bathroom was spotless and modern. Fabulous toiletries. The reception staff could not have been more helpful, it was 5 star service. They got drinks for us at the bar, chatted, kept our case when we went shopping, showed us the pool table, and ordered taxis. After quite a traumatic train journey from Swindon, it was so lovely to get a welcome fit for a king :) It was one of the most comfortable hotel stays we have ever had.

The room was quite small, but the facilities were excellent.

The location of the hotel could not have been more perfect for the purpose of our stay. Easily accessible car park, clean modern decor throughout, food was fantastic and comes with the option of eating in the bar, preordering and collecting or stereotypical room service delivery. The staff were so friendly and kind and went above and beyond to ensure we could have an early check in on arrival, to prepare for our day ahead. Thank you very much Leah! We have already booked again for our next Preston visit.

There was nothing to dislike.

We arrived on Friday evening after a horrendous journey on the M1 & M6 which had considerably delayed us. All parking spaces were taken and the receptionist Leah was so apologetic, even though I said parking wasn't guaranteed. The bus station carpark is just behind the hotel and £6 for 24 hours. The hotel is spotless and cleaners in evidence throughout the day with good room service. Breakfast was full English plus cereals, fruit, yogurt and pancakes cooked to order. Bar was open to hotel guests till 2am. Air conditioning was very effective. Bedding very new and spotless. I can recommend this hotel.

I went here for rockprest and it was in a fantastic location to walk to it. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

There is not much parking outside the hotel. You can leave your car in the bus station parking however we didn't feel comfortable doing that. Luckily there were a few spots available when we arrived. At night there was a rule about not using the lift I think but many people were doing it. I think this was for security since the doors are open at night and anyone can take a lift up to a room and there's no staff around.

I was greeted by Maria on reception, she was very friendly and happy and informative. The room was spotless, and so comfortable. Felt like I was at home. A huge bath and great view. Not far from the city centre. Thankyou for a lovely stay :)

The thermostat I couldn’t change the speed of the fan as the room was too hot for me upon arrival. I didn’t like that I couldn’t open the window, I know it’s for safety but I would like to be able to open it a little. I don’t like that the lifts don’t work at night unless you go up to reception a lot of messing around

The Holiday Inn in Preston centre was fantastic. We had 2 interconting accessible rooms on the 7th floor with a good view over the town. The rooms and beds were very comfy. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The prices at the bar for wine were extortionate! £8.95 for white wine and an extra £1.50 for a dash of lemonade. The larger was reasonably priced at £3. Per half and £5. Per pint. The room lighting was a bit poor, but then again, most hotels are like that.

Very central. Customer service was excellent. Clean room comfortable bed. Breakfast lovely and plenty of options.

Very limited car parking spaces. Managed to park my car on the first night. Booked the registration in and said our stay was for two nights. Arrived back to hotel on the 2nd night and no spaces. Was told to park in the Multi story across the road at a cost. Thats the only thing that would stop me returning.

Clean n tidy hotel, breakfast good, though why not make it £10 to save all the ‘it’s a special deal ‘ ? Evening meal & atmosphere was spoiled by a non guest sat in next seating area obviously struggling mentally & talking loudly about drugs - the 2 male members of staff on duty did absolutely nothing !!! In the end my friend tried to assist him ie offered to contact someone for help, but he was too perturbed …. more security needed !!!!!

Comfortable room. Excellent staff. Bar and restaurant facilities were very good with all day food menu which had variety of ‘pub style’ food to satisfy everyone. The breakfast buffet was good quality and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The public areas were modern and comfortable.

The car park was small but there was an inexpensive public car park next door. The ground floor entrance was unexciting and Spartan and the reception was on the first floor. Better decoration and signage would help with first impression. Once in the hotel it was modern, clean and inviting.
