No breakfast provided. Dinner was just extremely limited menu of pub fayre from the pub downstairs, but food available was nice and okay price. Room had everything you might need, including tea/coffee facilities, iron, hairdryer, shower got hot really quickly and was a great power. Ideal position in a quiet suburb for 30 minute drive into centre of Liverpool. Everything was clean but slightly worn, which I'm not mega worried about.

You can literally hear other guests outside your room door in the corridor stomping about and slamming doors and shouting at each other. Nothing much the Griffin Inn can do about it, though. Live Music on Friday night 9-11pm, but it's a pub so to be expected that you get some noise. Radiator in the room did not work at all, no matter which way you turned the knob. Consequently the room was quite cold, but luckily they had an electric heater in the wardrobe, so I had to put that on. VERY THIN duvet.

The staff were friendly, very professional and excellent in responding to our specific needs. We are so grateful to them. A staff member even went out and bought some decaf tea for us even though they don't normally provide it. Also they opened a quiet room for us as the bar area was really noisy (we're elderly...). Cannot fault the staff. The rooms were adequate but a little tired.

What an amazing place catering for all i.e children's area, outside pizza oven/bar, seating on the patio, great menu/restaurant etc plus comfortable, clean rooms at a reasonable price. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was so busy on the Saturday evening, I struggled to get a parking space. Similarly as nice as the menu was, I chose an Asian noodle stir fry dish which I had to send back as the chicken was dry and the noodles were not cooked. The staff were super apologetic and amazing in rectifying the situation plus we were given a drink of our choice free of charge. Sadly, the other issue was with regards to the real ale that was supposedly available which is one of the reasons I booked here as this is Dad's preferred drink, however on the night there was nothing available. Oh and the other thing that we didn't enjoy was the 'group/band' that was playing later in the evening.

I reckon that is is the best choice in the area for value , comfort ,and atmosphere.really nice bathrooms and comfortable beds . Good food and drinks at the bar and restaurant or outside in summer . Staff are freindly and helpful. Lovely walks in the area too!

Sometimes some rooms closer to the bar can be a little noisy - but it doesn’t go on late , and it doesn’t bother me .

Good overall pub. Friendly staff. Good location to Prescott. Room was clean.

The bed is too hard- suffered the rest of the day as post-hip replacement. Pillows are a little lumpy. Cracked coving over our heads in bed. No plug sockets on either side of the bed. No flannels. Iron mark on the carpet. Unsightly rubbish outside the window where the room was located. The room was ok for what I needed.

Big room, very clean throughout, plenty of tea and coffee. Quiet in the room despite the bar being busy.

Water pressure was awful at times, I imagine when someone else was using the water. Couldn't find a WiFi password anywhere, I could have gone down to ask, but by that time I was already dressed for bed. Parking was a struggle, it was a lovely day so naturally people were out, but it may be worth reserving parking for hotel guests as it does state there's parking.

There was no breakfast at this pub but the room was very clean and well maintained with everything you would need for your stay and had a comfortable stay

there was only a couple of things that let this pub down the main one was the hot water was only luke warm as was the shower but clean and the second thing i found with this day and age is there are no USB connections in the room which i think would be a good thing and no heating but there was a heater in the wardrobe they are expensive to use and no spare plugs for it

I was greeted by friendly and courteous staff who offered to carry bags to my room. My room and ensuite were clean and the right temperature. The bed was quite firm, which is fine for me. The ensuite shower was modern and good quality. Either the soundproofing is good, or the live music in the pub stopped shortly after I arrived back around 11pm, so I had no trouble getting to sleep.

There were no deal breakers - I would stay again. But the room could use a lick of paint in places, and it would be nice if they served breakfast.

The amazing staff. This was a last, last minute booking as the previous room I booked at another location in St.Helens was discusting. When I got my room in The GRIFFIN INN I was about crying. I got a brilliant reception at booking in. The young man was an absolute credit to the INN.

Booked a Double through Booking.com but it was only a Single when I arrived? Staff were very accommodating and sorted a room with a double and a single bed Very happy
