Our expectations were exceeded. ➡️ The first hotel that I have booked where I say I will come back. • We originally booked because it had a refrigerator in the room, which is great. Nothing better than having a cold drink at any time. Never had a standard room with a refrigerator. 😁 • Hotels present their best rooms on websites, so I didn't have high expectations for our simple standard room. Our standard room: •The room was very spacious and large, with what I assume was a king-size bed since it was huge. 🛌 • And a sofa for watching TV. 🛋️ • The A/C is very good, but the windows can also be opened for fresh air. As a German, I love fresh air. 🪟 • Breakfast was excellent. 👌 The hot chocolate was delicious and rich in flavor. ☕️ Other hotels add a lot of water to their hot drinks to save money, and then it tastes like a puddle water. • The building has stairs, which is good for those who don't like elevators. They're increasingly missing in newer hotels, so class they got some. 🫢 • A 15-minute walk from the Hot Water Comedy Club, the reason for our trip. The city is also not so far away. Little distance but walked everywhere with no issue. 🏙️ • English isn't my main language - it can be difficult to find the right words sometimes - but nobody took offense, everyone was friendly. Thank you 🙂

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. Everything from the spacious, clean & luxurious rooms to the amazing spa. We stopped for 2 nights in a classic room; we had treatments in the spa and used the thermal pool & other facilities, which are out of this world. Stanley bar & grill is also worth the visit, the food is absolutely lush!

The only problem we did have was the signal for the TV in the room wasn’t very good, but that is just been super picky.

A Beautiful Stay with Character and Warmth This is a truly beautiful hotel that retains the charm and character of its historic origins, with many original features still intact. I stayed in a classic room, which was extremely spacious and comfortable, while my friend had a superior room that was absolutely stunning. Both rooms, as well as the bathrooms, were spotlessly clean—although I did notice one small oversight: one of the glasses in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly (there appeared to be toothpaste residue at the bottom), which was a bit off-putting. But that really is nitpicking, as everything else was immaculate. Breakfast was very good, with a generous selection of fresh and tasty options. The only downside was the coffee situation—there was often a long, slow queue at the machines. It would be great if either more machines could be added, or if staff could serve coffee at the tables to ease the wait. Dinner on the Monday night was excellent—delicious food and lovely atmosphere. And finally, a huge shoutout to the staff, who were outstanding across the board. Friendly, helpful, and genuinely warm—nothing was too much trouble. I wish I remembered all their names, but I do want to mention Anastasia at breakfast, who was especially lovely.

Welcoming & relaxed atmosphere - pleanty of spaces to sit in bar/lobby - Bed & pillows were extremely comfortable - Staff were attentive & curtious - Booked into restaurant online ahead of arrival but wasnt able to get time to suit, reception staff called restaurant when checking in to amend time of our table booking which was a great help. Food in restaurant was exceptional, Menu was well thought out & staff were very helpfull in advising options - Breakfast was delicious, lots of variety on offer at buffet to meet everyone's needs. Hotel decor was lovely, particularly liked all of the artwork & posters themed around The Titanic itself - Loved the info videos on TV in room providing insight to The Titanic ship & history of the hotel building. Ice bucket was provided to our room on request & fridge in room was adequately sized for drinks we had brought with us to enjoy during our stay also used the fridge for my partners diabetic medication. Tea & coffee selection in room was well stocked. Complimentary bottles of still/sparkling water in room with glasses to use. Could not fault the cleanliness throughout the hotel apart from the outside sitting area.

TV in room would not switch off using remote, needed to turn off at mains plug. Although the rainfall shower in bathroom was delightfull, We would of preferred the option to use a hand held shower head also. Extreme dimly light corridors outside of rooms could possibly cause issues for some people with vision impairments. Would of preferred larger cups/mugs in room for tea/coffee. Outside sitting area of bar/restaurant although lovely, the cusions on chairs were not too clean, some with stains - We needed to brush them down when using to sit out. Had assumed parking was included in cost of room, surprised us on finding out during check in that there is a daily charge of £8 per night to park which is payable via a machine in entrance vestibule on departure.

Room was lovely and spacious and the bathroom was beautiful and very spacious also. Breakfast offered just about everything you could want. The staff were polite and helpful. The hotel is a little out of town, but that was clear when we booked. We just used uber which were fine.

I struggled a little with the hallways being so dark (which I understand is intentional and quite quirky). My eyesight is not the best so this made me hesitate when walking in the corridors and finding where to open the door with the card was a little difficult. The bedroom was also very dark until you opened the curtains. I think it would benefit from a brighter/stronger central light, we only had side lighting which was not really sufficient in my opinion. My coffee machine was a little temperamental, only worked correctly once?

We’ve stayed many times before and the dockside facilities are stunning. Lovely views, peaceful and you sense the heritage.

As mentioned I’ve stated many times and often request a dockside view. However it’s pot luck if you get a bath in the room: we didn’t. They provided only sparkling water which isn’t something we consume. Still water should be standard unless specified. The lighting needs to improve in the rooms, there are suitable areas to do blow dry hair etc, but the light is so contrasty that it’s difficult to see. There should be a bright led situated by the mirrors for this purpose.

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy at all times, and as for the room well WOW absolutely amazing no faults with this hotel whatsoever and can’t wait to come back to stay! Breakfast was out of this world with plenty on offer. The Spa was phenomenal and a great atmosphere, the gym was full of all the equipment you need and nice and quiet too! They have a security guard on the door of an evening that gives you that all round sense of safety and he was a really great bloke the type of man that would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it, thank you so much to all of the staff for an unforgettable experience.

Nothing it was absolutely exceptional all round!

This is an exceptional hotel. Fantastic decor. Amazing history. Polite staff. Lovely rooms. A credit to the place I call home. BTW you need to try the onion rings from the bar! Best I've ever had....accompanied by a pint of Irelands finest.

Only one thing I found a little disappointing. At breakfast, which was excellent in my opinion, was the small detail that guests have to queue for their own drinks, I.e. tea & coffee. I couldn't understand how a hotel of such high quality expects guests to do this? Long wait times witnessed throughout the serving. I personally feel a waiter/waitress service would be more fitting for a hotel of such a statue. Many guests commented on this very issue.

Historic building and loved the industrial theme and feel. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Good breakfast and wide range of options. Room was generally very clean and spacious. Lots of amenities in the room. Bed was very comfortable and was very spacious. Loved the high ceilings and brick work in the room. All the lighting and furniture fir very well in the room aesthetic and theme

Long queue to be seated at breakfast and service for coffees/teas was fairly slow. Parking charge was annoying although free street parking not on hotel site. Disappointed spa access not included in room rate. Skid marks found in bathroom toilet. Corridors were too dark could be slightly better lit and still fit with overall theme.

The hotel is full of character, keeping its previous life alive in the decor. Our room had been upgraded when we arrived, so a nice surprise. For me personally, I found everywhere rather dark, corridors especially, and kept wanting to turn on a central light in our room, but there wasn’t one. Very atmospheric, but just not quite for me, hubby not bothered by it all 😁. The concierge was a super helpful, smiley friendly chap. Breakfast was very good, although one coffee machine wasn’t working on our day, so meant a queue. I would definitely recommend others to visit.

For me personally, the character of the building whilst amazing, made it quite dark and corridors were for me not a pleasant place to be, found it eerie!
