The moment we arrived we were both greeted with a warm welcome from the receptionist. I said that we were both deaf she went away to speak to another member of staff and grab hold of the fireco deafgard fire alarm equipment. Offering ease and accessibility for us. Which was very kind of her. The hotel is charming, pleasant and cozy. It has a lovely feel to the place with it warm atmosphere. The hotel was quite impressive with its decor and stylist. The hotel is located near the Royal Albert Docks which has for all the things you like to do.

There nothing bad to say about the property.

It's a fabulous hotel, in fact, I've never stayed in one so colourful we loved it. Good location. Dog friendly hotel too. We would definitely stay there again. The staff were lovely, always had a smile. It was a last minute booking for us to be in Liverpool for the new year. The room was nice and clean, lovely fluffy towels, we had plenty of tea and coffee, and we usually take our Yorkshire teabags wherever we go. Breakfast was good. What more can I say? It was a fabulous few days. Thank you Malmaison, and Happy New Year!

the facilities for the bar area are limited by current works. this was not obvious at booking until you dig a little deeper and get your confirmation email. although there was a smaller bar set up as an alternative.

Staff were great just did not have a fridge but all an all everything was excellent lovely friendly staff 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Stylish hotel, beautiful surroundings felt very much at ease as I stayed with my 15 year old son to watch Liverpool play. Our twin room was lovely, breakfast was amazing lots of pastries, tea, coffee and a outstanding full English breakfast!! Will definitely book again... Really enjoyed the location especially walking along the waterfront felt very safe gorgeous at night all lit up. All staff were super helpful & very professional, made our stay very enjoyable thank you....

The mirrors in the bathroom are very truthful ha ha... only joking everything was fantastic!

Decor was great Room was quirky and nice Location was good Food was lovely We had a club room, bathrobes were a nice touch. Offered a drink per person if we didn't have our room cleaned. For a 2 night stay, this was great.

Breakfast was lovely, but the bowl it came in was very hot, I was not advised and did burn my fingers, resulting in blisters. On a different day, one of the waiting staff coughed all over the pastries. No handover mouth or made any attempt to turn away. Maintenance man walked into our room without knocking. Mattess was old, definitely a roll into the middle of the bed

On initial entry the hotel is lovely but all collar no cuffs. Bar staff were great as were check in and general vibe was relaxed. The bath and shower was amazing.

The room was very dimly lit and no apparent way to resolve, admittedly we did not ask as we spent the evening out. The room was cold and despite numerous attempts to resolve we could not get it to warm up. Scuff marks on the upper wall where you would expect a lick of paint for such a high end hotel to manage. just added a little disappointment to what i expected to be amazing. Maybe my expectations were too high.

Location was fantastic for a city break. Everything felt safe when walking around the city. Also enjoyed visiting new restaurants. Decided to opt out of the room being cleaned daily and enjoyed the free drink in the bar. We found the bar area very comfortable and relaxing. All the staff were very helpful. At breakfast there was plenty of choice..The room was spacious and comfortable...

Do prefer more lighting at this time of year..

Location on the waterfront close to the Liver Building. Stunning at nightime. Still a little buzz in bar area despite arriving quite late. Very comfortable room, with doggy treats left out. Lovely bed linen, on a big comfy bed.

Bartender rather slow. Upon arrival I had some big bags and 2 dogs, no offer to assist me to my room, so had to make 2 journeys up and down to room and back to car to collect everything, and then go off to park car in a separate car park. Bit of a faff.

First impressions count and Malmaison didn’t disappoint. From the minute we walked in, to the minute we left it was exceptional. Our check in was quick and informative (not robotic like some hotels) it felt considerate and friendly. Our suite was impressive, in space, comfort and views. On arrival we were greeted with a bottle of champagne and hand written greeting card (although we don’t drink champagne it was a nice token). We had a splendid view of the liver building and cruises on the mersey. Locations had been the reason we chose the Malmaison, very close to bars and restaurants and obviously the water front was a bonus. We started out even on a history tour that we had found online which didn’t last long, we found many bars & cocktail bars we visited instead. MITO had to be our favourite, quiet, cozy intimate cocktail bar, a great place for couples to relax and chat under a dim table lamp and drink amazing cocktails. We ended our evening in the hotel bar with a few drinks before bed. The staff were friendly and offered great choice of drinks, the atmosphere felt cozy and relaxed even as it got busier later into the evening. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, I full English breakfast with a great choice of fruit and pastries, tea and coffee.

My husband didn’t get beans on his breakfast! Ha ha I laugh but he is serious. I on the other had fully enjoyed my breakfast.
