Lovely room with good facilities. Always glad to have a fridge, and the complimentary items were very much appreciated. Lady as check in was very helpful and friendly

Air con was restricted, and after a very hot day the room was hot, stuffy and uncomfortable. I phoned down to reception for help and was told the aircon would get reset but would take about 20 mins, and never happened. Woke up very uncomfortable several time in the night.

Beautiful location, looking over a great view and such close proximity to Albert Dock Great, helpful staff, they left me a cute balloon on the bed as we were visiting for our anniversary. Small detail but did make me smile Open, modern, relatively clean

Unfortunately, the water pressure in the shower was so bad (on the 10th floor) that it would not wash out my shampoo. The staff, however, are so helpful and changed my room immediately to a bigger suite. There was also some unwashed cutlery which were not to the standard of the rest of the room which was otherwise quite clean!

I booked this for my partners birthday weekend away and it exceeded our expectations. I have been a member of Melia for almost a decade and I have never been disappointed. Complimentary room upgrade to a studio (although, this didn't have any form of kitchenette apart from a fridge, kettle and espresso machine) the complimentary birthday gift, robes, slippers and alcoholic beverages were a wonderful touch, although the drinks were not refilled during our stay. The views from our room were incredible too. We dined in the Gino restaurant both evenings and the food was incredible, however service was a little slow on the first night and the second night, a side of potatoes was forgotten. All food was available within the price as a room service option too. The Sky Bar was a lovely option which we did visit, however waited a long time to be served so didn't decide to stay. The views across the city were amazing. We will definitely be returning when we next visit Liverpool, thank you for a great stay!

The hotel is very modern. The size and comfort of the room was really good and the ensuite bathroom was is lovely The bed was 2 singles when we checked in (actually 2 small doubles) which the friendly check-in staff said they could push together and make up as a super king. This was done almost immediately. The breakfast buffet was great. We did not eat dinner there. The location is very handy to most things we wanted to do, Beatles tour, Ferry ride, Liver building etc; and to the main areas of restaurants and bars. There is a Metro station about 100m away. The room cost was very favourable for the quality of the accommodation. We would definitely use this hotel again on a future visit to the lovely city of Liverpool!

Staff friendly, pillows in the room very comfortable! Free drinks in the room, bars in the hotel are great but service in the sky bar very slow. Good location, decor is very nice and rooms quiet. Blackout curtains work wonderfully. Overall enjoyed our stay and would stay in the hotel again

Service in the sky bar very slow and got drinks wrong. The room temp was set to 26 degrees when we got there and the air con is rubbish so it wouldn’t really cool down. Bathroom grouting is a bit grubby and the toilet sounds/feels like it’s about to fall off the wall when you sit on it - awful!

Staff were so welcoming on arrival, couldn’t fault them, nothing was too much trouble. Room had everything we needed including a free non-alcoholic mini bar (lovely touch). Very comfy bed and everything was very clean. The added addition of having Gino’s Italian restaurant and sky bar on site was fantastic. After a long drive to Liverpool it was lovely to be able to have dinner on site and then relax in the sky bar watching the sunset afterwards. Highly recommend doing both. Hotel is in a great location, close to the docks and a 10minute walk to city centre, NCP capital carpark is just around the corner. Lots of little cafes and restaurants around too. We look forward to coming back to Liverpool soon and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this hotel again. 10/10 from us.

Everything was really well thought out and had everything in the room that we needed and additional things like the drinks in the fridge We really enjoyed our stay The location of the hotel was perfect and close to everything we wanted to go and visit The room was a perfect size and the bed was very comfortable The AC was amazing and I loved the lighting in the room The staff were very friendly and never made us feel like a burden when we were asked any questions They have a photo booth and a flower wall when you come in to the hotel which was a nice addition to the hotel. It was very clean We used The fitness room a few times which was very clean and nice. It had everything that we needed in there which we loved. We would definitely recommend this hotel and come back again

I didn’t like how they didn’t have their own parking as we had to park in the NCP car park and the pedestrian entrances were all closed and wouldn’t open which ended up being an inconvenience for us so we had to do a lot of walking back and forth to figure the parking out The phone didn’t work in the room which was a bit frustrating but we ended up just going down and asking questions

We stayed in the town room and it was absolutely beautiful. I messaged the hotel in advance to let them know it was me and my girlfriend’s anniversary and they put a balloon in the hotel with rose petals. The room was fully equipped and even had a PlayStation and Marshall Speaker. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was great. We would definitely stay here again given the chance.

Almost 50% of the channels on the TV don’t work and there’s no mainstream apps you can get on, only IPlayer, ITV X and C4 which is disappointing although you can cast your phone onto the TV.

Very nice hotel, staff in the hotel were friendly. The hotel is only a short walk to the main lively streets of the city centre. Rooms were very clean.

The rooftop bar didn't allow us entry on Saturday night saying it was full when it clearly wasn't. The bouncer let a few kids in ahead of us who weren't staying at the hotel which we found a bit strange and a bit disappointing. The guys in the downstairs hotel bar explained that they had no control over the rooftop bar and that it was a separate entity which is strange given that it is advertised as part of the hotel. The only disappointing aspect of an otherwise lovely hotel.

The hotel was very nice on arriving staff were friendly. Restaurant was lovely and food was soooo good. Sever was also very friendly and welcoming. We went for my birthday and so I was very pleased. Drinks in the bar upstairs also loved it all and service perfect. Would def recommend. Room was very nice and comfortable we wished we were staying longer.

Had to park in ncp car park and got given code but it said we could pay online which was alot of hassle and no where to use the code so it cost us alot mroe than it should have which was disappointing on leaving after a nice stay.
