First 2 days were perfect, staff were amazing. Customer care was spot on until the check out morning. Our last night was abit cold and they did everything to make our stay comfortable.

Last morning of check out, there was no running water which was such an inconvenience we received no apology and the receptionist was abit rude when we rang and 2 hours later when we tried she didn't pickup.

I didn't like the way that I had to change room because the cleaners were to lazy to change a cheet on the bed absolutely disgusting smell of sweat and dead dog off the bed.

Internal design of the hotel

Seating in communal area a bit small and chairs/settees were too low. Breakfast is served up until 10am, we arrived at 9.30am but felt rushed to finish as it was obvious staff were keen to clean up as near to 10am as possible. However, if we had decided to come for breakfast at 9.45am we would have had very little time to enjoy our breakfast. We decided the following day therefore to go to another hotel for breakfast as we felt it had much better food choices, was nearly £5 cheaper per person and there was no sense of feeling rushed…….

My sister and I visited this hotel, whilst on our city break. We were checked in. Very friendly. Definitely this hotel could be updated. Room was large and comfortable. Shower adequate. We did not have breakfast here so can’t comment. On the first night we noticed that the air conditioning was making a noise even though it was off. It would have been hard for us to sleep through that. I called reception and duty manager Ian came up and went above and beyond and got us another room and we both got a good night’s sleep. We both really appreciated that. Any interaction we had with reception was friendly and helpful. The town was only a 10 minute walk. This was a great base and I would return. Loved Liverpool, a beautiful city.

Upon arrival into the hotel lobby, it had a beautiful smell , which was really inviting and relaxing.The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the room had a mini coffee machine, which we didn't use. However, it was a lovely idea. I had upgraded our room to a premium room with a view of the docks, which was beautiful. The area we stayed in was quiet and about a 15-minute walk from the city centre. I loved that my partner and I had a dressing gown and pair of slippers each, which isn't something I've experienced in other hotels before. The bathroom had some gorgeous smelling hand soaps, lotions, shampoos, etc. Overall, we would stay again.

There weren't many cons of our stay. However, upon arrival, the hotel did look tired and worn down from the outside. I am not sure if the same applied to all guest rooms, but the flush on our toilet was very poor, even when flushing a couple of bits of tissue

Lovely hotel, everything was really clean and modern. The staff were lovely and helpful. Room had everything- shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body cream, iron and iron board. Stayed with my 11 yo daughter for the Liverpool legends game. Got taxi from outside which was only £8. Great location for docks, also 25 min walk to Lime st station. Paid extra for Albert docks view which was so worth it. Breakfast was lovely and served until 11 on weekend. Check out isn't until 12 too which was good. Already booked to come back next year!

The bed was lovely and so big, my daughter loved it, but it was a little too soft for me.

The hotel is in a good location. The staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are spacious and clean. the beds are very comfy.

The corridors to the rooms are in need of repair, we stayed on the forth floor and the carpet was threadbear next to the ice machine and shoe polishing machine (both didnt work). There are scuff marks on the walls in the corridors. In one elevators some idiot had written some football solgan on the door which the staff had tried to remove however this has left unsightly scatch marks on the door interior. Both elevators could do with some maintenance as the doors open really slowly. Our bed was comfy however there was no mattress protector between the mattress and the sheet.

We had a great stay here at the Radisson Blu. The staff were extremely attentive throughout our stay and the room was extremely comfortable. We had a great view of the docks and the room was spacious and very clean. The location was good as we were able to get our steps in but it wasn't too far away from the city center. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our stay and will be staying again.

It would have made it easier if the hotel had on site parking. We had to park around a 15 minute walk away as there had been some negative reviews on the NCP parking, which was closer to the hotel.

The room was big with a comfortable bed and tea and coffee making facilities. The cleaning staff were very thorough. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice of hot and cold dishes. The food in the White Bar was very good and was served promptly. There was a good choice of food on their menu. It is a really nice touch to have water, fruit and sweets available without charge in the reception area.

We were surprised that there was no fridge in the room. However the staff at reception were helpful because one of us needed to store medication in the fridge. We had thought there was a swimming pool in the hotel and were surprised and disappointed to find out it had been recently closed. It might be a good idea to have a dining area within the White Bar area where you can dine without sitting on low chairs.
