We found the room completely adequate for our needs and for the length of stay (i.e. 3 nights) we were happy with the location of the Hotel easy access (by foot) for what we wanted to do and explore Regarding the breakfast we were more than happy it certainly set us up for our busy days in Liverpool

Being absolutely pernickety it would have been nice to have some more milks in our room as we had 4 small sachets and there were 2 of us but we solved the issue by just brining up a cup of milk from dining hall and keeping it in fridge but as I say that was really trying to find fault!!!!!!!!

I recently stayed at Aloft over the weekend and had an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome right away. The hotel felt very secure, especially with security on the door at night, which gave us peace of mind. One of the things we appreciated most was how quiet the hotel was—perfect for a good night's sleep with no disturbances. The location couldn’t have been better; everything we wanted to see and do was within a 0.3-mile walk, including great shopping areas and the docks. It made exploring the city so convenient. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and we loved how the design of Aloft complemented the beauty of the building itself. Overall, it was a perfect base for our weekend getaway, and we would definitely stay here again.

The staff were a great help when my flight was cancelled on Friday just hours before I was due to leave home. I rang the hotel to put them on notice that I would be on stand-by for travel the next morning and would hopefully arrive after 10 a.m., some 12 hrs later than originally planned. I ultimately arrived in Liverpool Lime St train station via Manchester (planes, trains and automobiles!) at 2.10 p.m on Saturday. The purpose of my visit was to attend a football game, kick-off 3pm. I arrived at the hotel at 2.40 p.m. They'd already taken care of the majority of check-in, allocated a room to me, and had key cards in an envelope ready to go! One quick dash to the room to drop my luggage, and they ordered a taxi to the game, eventually arriving into my seat in the stadium at 3.15 p.m. I'd forgot to include breakfast in my booking, but they waived the cost of breakfast on Sunday as I'd missed one night's stay due to the cancelled flight. The hotel location is just on the edge of all the fun, and they held my luggage on Sunday to allow me run off sight-seeing and making up for the frantic and almost disasterous start to my break. It's a beautiful hotel (previously the head office of an insurance company). My brief stay meant I didn't get to enjoy or try any facilities provided, but my room was spacious, clean and very quiet (basement level, with large windows looking up to the footpath outside). I'd imagine it might be a little dark in the winter, but was cool with a full working aircon on a very warm weekend in Liverpool. Again, huge thanks to Kelly and her colleagues at reception!

The room was spacious, had all the facilities you would need, the walk in shower was awesome and the bedding felt like luxury quality ...we had a great night's sleep ...helped along by a couple of very fancy cocktails from the hotel bar...the staff were all very helpful, smiles from all of them which gave the lobby and bar a very welcoming feel....but I've saved the best till last.....breakfast was top notch , so much variety , all laid on beautifully and the bonus of a late check out is that you can take time to really enjoy it and have a little bit of everything....we will defo be back 😀

In terms of location the hotel was spot on a very short walk from Matthew Street and pride quarter can't fault it. The room had a fantastic view of Liverpool. The hotel was spotless and it was a beautiful building. It wasn't cheap but on location alone it's worth spending that bit extra. By far the best hotel I've stayed at in Liverpool yet. And clearly very popular due to how busy it was. A few things could be done to make small improvements to the hotel. However I would visit again without a doubt. It was my friends birthday so we received a complimentary drink which was a nice touch.

Unfortunately the sink was blocked and the lighting broke in the room. Also black pudding could have been served with breakfast. Also the lifts were minimal in the building and really slow which was a bit annoying and time consuming.

The hotel location was perfect for our needs. The staff were super-friendly and helpful too. The building is magnificent, and the rooms are very spacious indeed. The bed was so comfortable and absolutely massive, too. We ended up in the basement as the hotel was so busy, which we didn't mind as we were out for the whole time anyway. The included breakfast was amazing, too - a lot of choices to suit everyone. All in all, it was a fab stay, and we'd definitely book it again.

The bathroom door!! It was a sliding door that was hung strangely, so there was a gap between the door and the wall brackets. It wasn't private at all, plus you couldn't open the set of drawers below the kettle when the bathroom door was closed. It was an odd arrangement, but not the end of the world. Also, being in the basement meant that passers by at street level could see directly into our room, especially in the evening, so we really had to keep the curtains drawn at all times.

Location was ideal. Only a short walk to the shops and the nightlife. Also close to the docks. Had breakfast included which was great. Lots of choice on the buffet and they served from 8am until 11am so still had the option for a lie in! Really good late check out available too of 12pm.

Room looked a little tired. Lighting was poor in the room but there were plenty of sockets for phone chargers etc. Also had iron, ironing board and hairdryer available in room. The fridge in the room was very poorly stocked. Only had one bottle of water available. There was a kettle and tea and coffee facilities. The shower leaked badly. Reported to reception but they had no rooms available to change to and as it was Saturday there was no maintenance available until Sunday afternoon which was after our check out.

The building itself is amazing, particularly, the internal staircase. Photo attached. The reception was friendly and efficient. They gave me cold drinking water in a can without charge. The room had a desk lamp (although the desk was too small to do any meaningful work).

The lift is very slow and breakfast was underwhelming (e.g. only scrambled eggs, no other type of eggs and not much other than beans and hash brown for those who do not eat meat). Last time I stayed I had a big room, but this time the room felt rather small and a bit suffocating. I was on 5th floor this time and on the first floor last time. Pillows could do with being refreshed.

We have just returned from an overnight stay here. Very lovely, clean hotel and room. The room was very spacious with a king-sized comfy bed. The shower was big, clean, nice, and powerful. The room had a mini fridge, safe, iron, ironing board, tea/coffee making facilities. You are also provided with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The only thing we didn't like about the room was the lighting, there is no main light in the bedroom area, just 2 small very dull ones above your head. So the room was very dark, and it made it impossible to see properly when getting ready. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed drinks at the bar and the pool table. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The hotel itself is in a great location, too.

great location , nice hotel , great bar area , breakfast was excellent for the first 2 days , 3rd day Saturday morning , there were more people staying at the hotel and staff were running around seemed to be no organization had to wait 20mins for the bacon tray to be re-filled when i questioned a member of staff was told chef was busy doing egg orders ? surely you keep on top of your staple stuff as more people were waiting the busier the restaurant became leading to staff running around everywhere , being a manager of 17 staff myself looked like it just needed a bit of a cool head to sort things out as staff were doing the same jobs , advice would be give staff designated areas on busy days i.e. 2 clean floor and tables one replenishing fruits and yogurts 1 on bread and pastries and the rest doing special orders and replenishing all items hot food items this would take away what seemed to be chaos at times and avoid long waiting times
