My first time in an Easyhotel. I didn't expect that. Compact squeaky clean double room, right on fabulous Castle Street, with full unobstructed view over the Christmas decorated shop windows. Well thought out bed, headboard, cosy lighting, light switches, TV placement, plugs. Everything made sense, every inch of space utilised to the best, almost as if ikea designed it. The cherry on the top: didn't even need to whip out my travel summer duvet, travel pillow or travel mini candles. Temperature was perfect: nice and cool. And all this for a very respectable £34.99 with free towels, toiletries, AND free WiFi.

I had to use my towel as a bath mat as there was nownere to wipe my feet after the shower. Not at all a deal breaker, very manageable but if I stay again (and that's almost certain) would ask for an additional towel to use as a bath mat.

I was warmly greeted by Gordon who also upgraded me to a room with a window.😊 Gordon was very helpful with my queries and patient. My room was clean and overlooked the street. Locational is very central to bus, train, shops and cavern quarter. Lots of nice looking bars and restaurants in area. One point I must comment on is the availability of a rescue chair beside the lift for people with reduced mobility during an emergency. It's about time hotels faced up to their responsibilities for ALL guests using their facilities. So we'll done easy hotel.

The bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever had the misfortune to try to sleep on. There was no shower gel in the shower dispenser. The rooms are exceptionally compact. The air conditioning unit I didn't feel worked properly as the room got steamed up after having a shower. The outside signage for the hotel was hard to spot. Having said that it's good value for money for its location.

The hotel is in a great location. It is very close to Matthew St/The Cavern Club for fans of The Beatles. The Albert Dock is only a stone's throw away, as is Liverpool city centre and all the hustle and bustle that goes with that. The hotel is very clean; the rooms are spotless; the beds are very comfy and the staff on site are very approachable and attentive to their duties at all times.

My main gripe concerns the bathroom facilities in the room(s) on site. I was not a fan of cleaning/showering up behind a plaid of glass, essentially. This is only a very minor quibble, though.

Fab location, 15 minute walk from Lime St and very close to the shops. Room was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was a decent size and was mostly clean. The bed was comfy and despite the hotel being opposite bars I didn't hear any noise from outside. Would stay here again as it's worth the money.

Only small things really. The bathroom sink wasn't as clean as it could have been. Also the shower door didn't close properly and my room was opposite a set of office blocks and I felt I had to put the curtains on to get any privacy. Also the TV in my room didn't work and there was little shower gel. Also the bin in the hotel room isn't the biggest.

I'm glad this hotel had air conditioning and elevators. I need my creature comforts. The location was walking distance from Cavern Walks / Cavern Club district, plus commuter trains.

The hotel charged me a 'city tax' upon check in. Even though I had prepaid this hotel, the extra charge of 2.80 GBP or something surprised me. Especially since the other city center hotels I stayed in during this trip did not charge this fee. Also, the AC fan was stuck on low. But I was able to eventually cool down the room.

What a great little hotel! The location was fantastic. The perfect central location a short stroll from the city centre attractions, the docks, and with Wetherspoons right across the road for breakfast. We had a windowless double room and it was a brilliant little space. Small (as expected) but clean and comfortable - the bathroom was no smaller than in many larger hotels and the bedroom had a bit of floor space to leave bags in, and two hangers for clothes. We had good temperature control, once we worked the control panel out, and everything we could've needed was provided.

No complaints, here! A clean, comfortable place to sleep at a very fair price.

A great location close to Matthew street and all of the Beatles attractions. The hotel is in a nice position with everything you need on your doorstep. The hotel is very clean and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Excellent value for money

The rooms aren't large so book a room with a window if you want a bigger room especially when staying longer than one night. You do not have tea / coffee facilities in your room but there is a hot drinks machine in reception that you can use at a charge. Only one bath towel and a bath mat in the room but you can ask for more at reception.

Brilliant location - just round the corner from Liverpool One and near all the main attractions. When I first saw the location I worried it would be noisy but the room was silent during the night and I slept great. Bed was super comfy and the room had everything you need for a short stay. Staff were super polite as well.

The room was very small. Anyone tall or a couple wanting to share the space would struggle.

Was through for my friends hen weekend. The room was spotless, big windows to let the light in and the shower was amazing! The location is perfect, literally a few minutes walk from everything. The staff were so friendly too.. I lost my room key after a few too many wines and they replaced it with no issues at all. Plenty plug sockets at each side of the bed is always a bonus!

The mattress was rock hard, but that's more personal preference as some people would like that. Great pillows though! No kettle in the room but I seen a coffee machine at reception where you can get hot drinks.

Excellent location close to James street station. Walked in a few minutes to Mathew Street and the nearby streets, it's such an amazing area for live music! The place is step-free, which was brilliant for my elderly mum and her dodgy knee. Opposite the entrance of the easyhotel there's a super convenient small sainsburys supermarket which stays open until late also on Sundays, which was brilliant since I needed some urgent toiletries I had forgotten behind. The bedroom's furniture looked brand new, so did the toilet. The shower facilities were amazing, especially the fact that the shower head could be moved (higher/lower) and that the temperature mixer was separate from the tap water opening so that you immediately get a lovely warm shower instead of freezing first!!!

I would have liked electrical wall plugs on both sides of the bed, and 2 more pillows perhaps.
