Turn right and you're 5 minutes from Albert dock, turn left and you're 5 minutes from Liverpool one shops and bars, perfect location. 24 hour friendly reception, plenty of tea, coffee and milk, and a clean comfortable room. Weatherspoons over the road for breakfasts Really good price! We would definitely stay here again because of the great location and very reasonable price

No opening window in the room, it wasn't really hot but if it was it could be a problem. some carpets in the hall and room stained. stayed 3 nights and we were advised there would be no room service during our stay, linen change would be extra

Top location, really very close to everything, five min to the Beatles statue, to the Beatles museum, ten min to the world museum Liverpool, 15 min from the train station Lime street Liverpool, five min to the shopping Everything is five to ten min walking distance. Very clean hotel, the rooms are big and comfortable, big beds, the bathroom clean as new. At the reception young, very friendly and helpful people, the management very flexible, positive, helpful to the needs of the guests. I had a birthday and they made a surprise decoration of the room with a greetings postcard and balloons, they know how to make the guests happy. Housekeeping are almost invisible, very quiet in the morning, but they are doing a super job, everywhere is very clean. We are traveling a lot, but the rooms in this hotel and the bathrooms are the most clean. Well done. Very strong WiFi, free. We had a wonderful time staying in this wonderful hotel, I strongly recommend it.

The location of the hotel is perfect for the attractions of the city centre and waterfront area. There is a Wetherspoons opposite which is great for a good cheap breakfast. I booked the room for my son and his groomsmen to use the night before his town centre wedding. They had inter connecting rooms which were spacious and clean. Each room had two double beds in which he says were very comfy. The bathroom is a good size. This hotel was great for a one night stay. Helpful friendly staff.

It would have helped if there was a fridge in the room for drinks

I went in without expecting anything fabulous but as I stepped in, it felt very accommodating. Mohammed was at the reception and he displayed a very high level of customer service. I was given the top floor family room as requested, had a lovely view, and halal food was easily available. It was very close to a 5 star experience. After a long day of commute and work, I had a very relaxing and restful night. Tea and coffee were available - shower was well equipped and hair dryer was available too. TV was working. AC helped immensely. I will certainly use this hotel again.

The pillows were great! I'm a pillow person - I could sleep on bricks with a nice pillow. Staff were lovely. Didn't get breakfast so no idea.

Only criticism is, there wasn't chair for the desk so I had to take a work Teams call on the (very) low chair and the laptop on the bed. Didn't look great - but the alternative of sitting on the bed would be worse! No residents bar is a minor thing (plenty bars around) but for anyone expecting one...

The hotel is directly next door to James St Train station and does not have kerb appeal. That said the staff were polite, helpful and happy. The room was large, clean and the bathroom and shower were good. The best thing about the hotel is it's central location being a couple of hundred yards to the main shopping area and a short walk to the music venues surrounding the Cavern area. We stayed on a Sunday night and paid £48 which was very good value for money. Weatherspoons directly opposite as a breakfast option.

Room was amazing for the price. Pristine. Only £15 more than other hotels but well worth it. Next to James Street Station.If you can navigate the underground you can get there from Lime Street. Weatherspoons across the road, open from 8 for breakfast. Easy check in. Didn't have to fill out any forms. Kettle with coffee and Tea. Stairs you can use. Good TV news channels. Good pristine bathroom. Good heating.

Lift was a bit slow. Went up the stairs once . Lights were a bit funny. Was a bit dark in some places. There was a flexible reading lamp attached to the bed board. I felt if I had slept there would have banged my head on it.

Location is excellent, support from staff was excellent, room was excellent also.

Unexplained mix up with the room allocated to us where we were checked into a double room when I'd booked a twin room. Staff were very helpful in resolving the issue quickly and we were allocated an appropriate twin room then. Really disappointed the morning after when we were quite a bit "worse for wear" and looking forward to a hot shower before checking out to find that the shower pressure in the room was very poor and there with absolutely no hot water. Reported it to staff at reception when leaving and was advised they'd get in touch with maintenance, didn't really help us at that stage but hopefully it got resolved.

Large room with a comfortable bed and all the usual stuff that we like in a hotel room, such as tea & coffee making facilities and toiletries. Bathroom was a little on the small side, but it was fine for our 2 night stay. Location was perfect for the event we were attending, at a venue on the next street, and also close to Albert Dock and the Cavern Quarter

Our tv didn't work, in that it wasn't tuned to any channels and we couldn't tune it, but that could have been weather related so we didn't complain, as there was a storm with heavy rain and high winds at the time we tried it.

The room was spacious with a large bed and a view over the waterfront. All the staff we encountered were very professional, friendly and efficient. Very clean and well equipped. Convenient location, next to James St station and close to the Albert dock and ferry terminal

There were several people "hanging about" in reception area and smell of cannabis around the lifts. We think this Hotel is being used as a hostel of some kind. Not welcoming when returning late at night. This place needs to decide whether it is a quality hotel or a hostel, it can't be both.
