The room is like the pictures very modern and clean. Has aircon hairdryer and serviced daily. The location is Brilliant very central 5 minutes walk to the waterfront. It's on a busy road but they have put secondary glazing which keeps the night noise down. We didn't find it a problem and I'm a light sleeper. We had breakfast at the attached restaurant on the last morning..great full English very well cooked, great batista coffee too. Would recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous room like the pictures but the mattress is hard, we said on checkout and the chap said they could have given a duvet to sleep on to help, lovely staff.

I love that the hotel is central to everything you could need and it is fairly quite at the times you need it to be. Friendly staff at a clean and comfortable hotel. Easy access to your floor or room with stairs and a lift, card access for the rooms. This hotel is becoming a firm favourite.

Maybe a small fridge could be added to the rooms for guests to store cold drinks and such during their stay. Regarding the small hairdryers in the rooms, it would be better if they didn't have a small coiled cord as it is very restricting when drying your hair with very little range of movement.

Hotel was nice enough, clean and comfortable. Decent shower. Entrance to hotel is separate to main bar, tiny lobby no seating area outside of your room to relax with a coffee or meet people, you would have to walk round to the bar for that and purchase drinks. (Wetherspoons is next door!) Was disappointed with the breakfast. We paid £12 each in advance through booking.com. We were then told to order off the normal brunch menu which has limited breakfast options, but it also says 2 for £16 so we felt ripped off! There is a lighter bites option but it wasn’t clear what we could have for our £12, a bowl of cereal wasn’t going to cut it! They should have a separate menu for hotel guests. Didn’t like the soda bread as the toast option and the poached egg tasted of vinegar, the rest was ok on the full English. My husband’s veggie option had a weird sweetcorn fritter, it’s a matter of personal taste I guess! I will say I did like the filter coffee that you could help yourself to, is that what we paid extra for though?

Lovely welcome late at night from William who made a stressful situation which caused a last minute check in due to having to find alternative accommodation due to a dirty room elsewhere. All bedding clean and as it should be in the family room we managed to secure. The room had a sofa bed and double bed. Clean and tidy shower room ensuite. Ability to alter the temperature in the room through an air conditioning unit. There is secondary glazing over the window which assists with reducing any noise you may experience from outside. Very close to a wetherspoons, All bar one downstairs and the Old bank across the road who do a very nice breakfast. Liverpool city centre shops are only a short walk from the hotel.

Due to a last minute late check in through this site we were advised there was availability of a double room and a family room. However when we went to book and pay the only room we were able to pay for was the family room which was quite a bit more expensive for us to pay when a couple with only being seconds later from seeing both being available. However due to the lateness of the booking after 23.00hrs we felt there was no choice and paid for the family room.

Stay was great , fab location , rooms excellent , quiet even tho in a busy area . The only thing that let it down was. a. The food in the bar in the evening , and b. Breakfast ,even tho the food was good , we were not greeted too well . We wasn’t told on check in about the time of breakfast , ok so we could have checked on the information booklet , however not a lot of people do , and breakfast normally runs past 9.30 , we arrived at breakfast at 9.15 , the lady who served us was very impatient and grumpy . It was my birthday and had to take a call , she was grumpy , she proceeded to start removing the coffee machine and tea facilities , we wanted another cup of tea at 9.40 , she had already removed the milk , she became even more grumpy when we asked for milk ….not really what we expected ….had we have know we would have gone to Weatherspoons 2 doors away .

We got off to a rocky start but thanks to an exceptionally professional management our stay at All Bar One turned into a delightful experience. The hotel is ideally located (very close to Albert Docks and City Centre), the rooms we got in the end were really nice with comfy beds, a great shower and stacked up tea and coffee facilities. The staff was really friendly and accomodating and breakfast was great too. We can really recommend it and would book it again.

Should I ever book it again I would ask for a room that faces St. James street. Yes, it is loud. But it is a great view and more importantly it has fresh air since you can open the windows.

We did enjoy our breakfast, we were just a little disappointed that the hotel didn't have very many Gluten Free options on their Breakfast menu for those who suffer with Coeliac which left 1 member of our party limited to eggs and bacon. Still a very nice breakfast room and fresh fruit juice, tea and coffee was excellent. Staff member on shift was very professional and friendly. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better 5 *****

A central, inviting and very clean hotel. Small enough to be cosy, large enough to be easily seen. Check in was very straightforward, and all of the staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. The rooms were ample in size, have very relaxing beds and excellent shower facilities. The rooms had a good sized TV (never put ours on) and tea and coffee was stacked daily. A simple thermostat for room temperature and air conditioning made gauging our preferred setting very easy! Overall, an excellent place to stay for all things Liverpool. We can't wait to come back.

The hotel was in the perfect location in central Liverpool, easy access to everything. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom big and modern with amazing water pressure. Everything was great and would definitely consider staying there again when in Liverpool.

The AC was difficult to work with so the room would get really hot and stuffy. Really wish it was possible to crack open the window in the room for fresh air.

Location was amazing , right in the heart of the city. Check in was quick and easy. Someone was always at the front desk if anything was needed . Room was spotless .aircon was easy to use and not too loud . Would definitely recommend this hotel . And we will definitely be back.

Only down side if I had to say anything negative would be when we got to the room there was no remote for the tv. But went back down to reception and got given one .
