For the price we paid it was excellent value for money, it was very clean, cheerful and felt very safe. A great central location. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was very sleek and clean perfect for our little trip away. It may not have the cleanest outside walls, but on the coast what do you expect; inside was immaculate.

Excellent location. Room rate very good value for money. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Thought the price for breakfast was expensive so didn’t try any of the restaurant/bar facilities. People smoking in groups in front of the hotel and throwing cigarette ends away, not sure if they were staff or visitors. I would suggest ‘no smoking’ sign

Went for a special weekend, we got engaged. Hotel is in a great location for Liverpool 1 the Albert Dock and the attractions around are all within walking distance. Staff very welcoming room was clean and warm but the lighting wasn't great. Didn't get the river view we requested but it was a last minute request and the receptionist did look for us to check,we just climbed onto the balcony and could see the dock. Great view from the restaurant where we ate breakfast however we felt some elements of breakfast could have been better. Parking quite expensive. We paid quite a lot of money and feel one or two tweaks are needed to make this a true 4 star hotel. Had a lovely weekend though despite a couple of niggles.

Breakfast, no mushrooms, some bits not great. Need to order fried eggs Lighting in room far too dim. Expensive.

Lovely clean room with a nice view shower was great and staff are amazing especially Demi on reception she made our stay a beautiful one. It was my birthday and she put wine and glasses in our room with a little box of chocolates a really kind and beautiful thing to do. We ordered breakfast to our room on the morning we where leaving and it was a little late arriving but Andrew arrived with a beautiful breakfast for us and apologised for it being late, it was the morning after Valentine’s Day and the hotel was very busy but Andrew couldn’t apologise enough and he later called to our room with a bottle of Prosecco which he personally bought for us to take home what amazing staff you have at this hotel I cannot praise them enough our stay here was a wonderful one and we will definitely be back. Thank you ❤️

I was pleased to have a room on the tenth floor overlooking the river, which was both quiet and scenic. It was useful to be able to check in online before arrival.

I was disappointed with the restaurant with only a limited menu and it was closed on my first evening. The member of staff behind the bar didn't seem to know what was going on. I feel lighting could be better in the bedrooms - a standard lamp which could be placed beside the chair would be a great help.

We really liked the location. Our room was really good value for money. It was clean and modern and had an amazing view. All the staff were very friendly and were very knowledgeable about the city. We were checked in by a male member of staff at 3pm 17/01. We received Prosecco on arrival, which was a nice touch, and even ended up getting a free upgrade on our room. I just wish we had a chance to have cocktails at the bar, but we had already booked somewhere at the docks for dinner.

The lighting in the room was a little dark, so when I was doing hair and makeup, I had to keep nipping into the bathroom to see properly

Location is great; the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; the interior of the hotel is fantastic (though the outside of the property could do with a bit of an update and freshen up). I was upgraded to a Privilege Room so had the benefit of a great view of the Mersey and the Liver Building - the only issue with this was that there was heavy condensation between the double glazed and external windows so the view was somewhat obstructed, which was a shame. Good lighting in the bathroom and plenty of sockets throughout.

The temperature control in the room was damaged (buttons broken). The hot breakfast could have been a bit hotter, but generally the selection of breakfast as a whole was good.

The reception team- very warm and caring especially Zoe, she made us feel so welcomed upon arrival, and gave us many tips and info about getting around the city especially for the footy on Saturday. The time I was asking for some refill of items in the room was very responsive too! And the view I got from the room:-)

The rooms seem like not very sound proof, my sleeps were disrupted a few times on Saturday and Sunday in the early morning , I heard the talking of my neighbors, but not sure which room/direction exactly. The pipe system in the bathroom is not so smooth, bit slow for the sink and the shower if using the water for more than 5 minutes.

Nicely decorated and great view. Bed was very comfortable and while the bathroom was small it was again comfortable and perfectly functional, it had a bath which I very much liked. Room came with facilities to make hot drinks and the kettle was very clean, something I've really come to value after recent bad experiences in hotels. The hotel has a nice balcony where you can sit and have a drink that overlooks the docks which is very nice.

When we checked in it was a hot weekend and our room was advertised as having air con, this was not actually the case as it wasn't working but we were not told about this when we checked it. We also has no way of opening a window for fresh air and were not offered a fan or other way of cooling down so the room was very warm.
