The rooms were very clean. There was no noise, so we were able to sleep well. The hotel location was great, close to everything. The cleaning staff do a lovely job of cleaning the rooms and the facilities are good.

Arrived at 2:15pm but told our room was not ready as we couldn't check in until 3pm which was fine, however we waited in the lobby and by around 2:40 everyone who walked through the hotel doors we being greeted and checked in. We sat there right in front of them, watching this for about 10 minutes while they checked in 5 more people. When I eventually went and asked if we could check in, he looked at his watch and said it's not quite 3 pm yet, but I'll check you in????? I did consider they could have paid for early check-in, but why would you pay extra to be booked in 10 minutes before your check-in time?

Spotlessly clean. Good sized room. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Loved the Beatles theme, which I wasn't expecting. Best continental breakfast I've had in a long time. Perfect location for viewing sights of Liverpool, everything in walking distance, although did get sore feet!

Room was well soundproofed from the traffic outside but kept awake by noise in the hotel during the night. This did sound like water running - maybe pipes running underneath our rooms? Sounded like a washing machine cycle! Sadly, this kept happening all through the night We were on the first floor. I would advise booking second floor rooms

It's a nice place to stay if you want to be in the city center. There is a Tesco nearby if you need something, they also offer tea/coffee all day long. Staff was very friendly and made the whole process really easy. The room was okay, what you expect from Ibis. Had all the things we need, it was clean and with enough space. Be aware that this place is very close to a bunch of street bars and it can get noisy during the night (even if faintly) Breakfast was decent also but a bit pricey, if I'm honest, wouldn't hurt to at least add some more variety and/or make the scrambled eggs with some taste. Everyone in this zone is very inclusive and friendly btw, felt very safe and secure, even at night.

This was our second stay here and like the first, it was excellent. Checking in and out was no hassle at all, and the staff are always fantastic. We were here for two nights and someone called Sasha did a fantastic job of tidying our room and topping us up with tea/coffee during our second day, as I said, the staff here are brilliant. We were on the Lucy in The Sky floor, and we had an amazing view of the city. The rooms are always cosy, and the bed was very comfy.

I have no complaints, only that the seagulls outside were a noisy bunch, but the hotel itself was brilliant in every way.

Breakfast had a larger selection than I expected and I was pleased it had gluten free options. We also had a small plate in the evening which was tasty and much cheaper than we had paid for something similar outside the night before. The room was nice and clean and the shower easy to use. The location was really convenient for the station, shopping and Pier Head everything was just 10 minutes away

The rooms are basic and fairly small - it would have been great to have a fridge for some real milk in our tea but honestly for the price I was more than happy with everything. Unfortunately on the second night there was an alarm going off somewhere - don't think it was the hotel so couldn't be helped. Generally it was pretty quiet at night - but our room did not face the street.

We were pleasantly surprised by how close to the centre and the water front this hotel is. It's modern with a real nod to the musical culture of the city inside which made it fun. The room was spotless, and well decorated and the bed very very comfortable indeed. The room and bathroom was a little on the small side, but for the price we paid it was absolutely superb. There was free tea and codde in the hotel lobby which was a very pleasant area. Staff were constantly on hand who were very friendly and informative. We were told we could check in early with a simple membership email sign up and the hotel felt secure with a key card entry system. Absolutely ideal for a city break. I'd recommend. Great value! *****

The room was a little small and the bathroom, but to be fair the value reflects this I'd say.

Loved everything about this hotel! We stayed for an extra night it was that good! The staff were really helpful, great price, the room was clean and looked amazing, as it was my birthday they left balloons on the bed and a card which I thought was very sweet. We stayed in the queen room and it was a good sized room with all the essential facilities. Never heard any noise during our stay from traffic or other rooms which as great. Great location as it’s a 10 minute walk from lime street station and is close to loads of shops and pubs. Would 100% recommend this hotel and will be staying again!

I only needed a cheap room for the night as I had a very early train the next morning. This hotel is ideal. It is less than 10mins walk from Lime Street, and about 2 mins from Liverpool One if you needed to be central to the city centre. It has what you need, tea and coffee, shower facilities etc. Room is comfortable and provides enough space. Wifi is free and held throughout my time there.

Bed is OK but I prefer thicker, softer mattresses (personal preference). I did get woken up in the night by some plumbing sounds (or possibly aircon) and this lasted a while too.

The hotel was in a good area, near moorfields train station and short distance to Liverpool one.

During my stay I am not sure how this happened but I checked in and later on another couple opened my hotel door. I was startled and confused and turns out they had been issued my room number as well. They had to go back down to be issued another room card. This was midweek so I am not sure how the reception staff managed this. I struggled to sleep my first night because of it. Everything else about my stay was okay after this.

It was very clean staff were friendly and helpful Bed was comfortable Room cleaned daily staff visibly cleaning the hotel throughout day which is always good to see. Beautifully decorated throughout and can't fault the security in place at the hotel.

I was disappointed with breakfast it was not worth the 12:99 per day but that being said there was choice just not what I would expect in regards to a breakfast of that price. Staff were faultless and always cleaning tables which is great We did have one broken bedside light but didn't effect our stay at all
