The location was perfect, quite central to Liverpool one and to where the cavern club and a few odd bars were. The staff were amazing, I booked a twin room but we were given a double on arrival - thankfully there was a twin room available and after asking to move we were able to.

Obviously staying close to Liverpool one it was quite loud of a night- in the early hours we kept getting woken up by ambulances, speeding cars and people shouting. Also the hotel were unable to take out bags so we had to pay to store them at a nearby hotel- this wasn’t stated until after we paid the non refundable price. However it’s expected in a hotel being so close to the center and going on a weekend.

The staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Although our bed choice wasn't provided on check in, that was quickly rectified by a lovely, chatty member of staff. She even made the beds up to our preference. Our room was attractive and very clean, as was the bedding and towels. Breakfast was a good selection in a pleasant, attractive restaurant. Perfect location for us to explore the centre of Liverpool, within easy walking distance of the cathedrals, Walker Gallery, Albert Dock and Lime Street Station. Would stay there again.

There were no towel rails in the bathroom so towels had to be hung over the shower screen. We like to reuse our towels for ecological reasons, but fresh towels were provided every day. There was very little space for toiletries as no shelves were provided.

The location couldn't have been bettered for the city break we were on - within a few minutes walk of the railway station and of all the locations we wanted to visit. It's style is elegantly 'grown-up' as befits a re-purposed Victorian bank. Exceptional value given the facilities and the the included breakfast.

A few teeny points. Fruit for breakfast would have been appreciated, and a I'd have liked a warmed plate to keep my otherwise tasty hot buffet selection at a good temperature on the way back to my table. Also, there wasn't an adequate towel rail in the bedroom bathroom.

The location and staff were great. Lovely hotel.

The Internet wasn't working properly when we arrived. It had gone down but came back a few hours later. We went for breakfast 10.30am and there wasn't much choice left. I asked for more fruit but as told they didn't have any left. There weren't any yogurts left either. The toaster wasn't very good as you had to switch it on yourself ( no instructions to tell me this) then stand to keep checking if it was cooked enough. I was shocked when we first arrived at the hotel as the bar and reception area were very clean but when I went downstairs to the ladies toilets the stairs leading down were very dirty and didn't look like they'd been Hoover and cleaned for a long time.

Location was brilliant. Staff were lovely and friendly. They were very helpful. Hotel was beautiful and very clean. The room was stylish, comfy and clean, it had everything we needed to hand. It was so lovely to receive a birthday card from the hotel for my partner’s special birthday. Thank you for a lovely stay, we had a lovely time and will definitely return.

The breakfast wasn’t great. The food didn’t look very appetising and the food I did have was cold. The trays the food were served in weren’t very steady and needed to hands to close the lid to stop them from falling off the counter. Not ideal when trying to carry your plate and having nowhere to leave it when trying to close lids. All the breakfast and the place to make toast etc was very cramped, leaving very little room to prepare. The breakfast could be set up better, presented better and be cooked a lot better.

The staff were very helpful and friendly but they were stretched thin and I felt sympathy for them. The hotel is a great location and very clean. We had breakfast included in our stay. The continental breakfast was disappointing with very little choice but the hot breakfast was lovely. Very nice sausages and good quality.

The rooms have no temperature control at all. Our radiator was on all night and it made our room far too hot which affected my sleep. I opened the window which opens slightly but this didn’t help very much as at 6am I had to close it due to the traffic noise on the road outside.

Beautiful building with lots of character throughout, breakfast was very nice, buffet style on the Sunday morning, ordered from the menu in Monday. Very close to lots of things to do, Special shout out to Connor on the bar on an evening polite and chatty. Very pleasant stay.

There was no floor mat when using the open shower so got a bit of a puddle, just used the towel to mop it up. We also had very squeaky floor boards. Hopefully we didn’t disturb the people below when we walked on them

The staff were very nice and helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a prime location. Room was spotless Breakfast was lovely but a lot of asking for replacements on both mornings Felt we had to ask for plates spoons butter milk Fruit was all gone the first morning.A lot of elderly people had trouble getting coffee out as you need to pump several times.

The ceiling was very low in the bedroom and it was extremely noisy from the street below. Would have appreciated a shower cap and face cloth

Close to Liverpool Lime Street with plenty of restaurants bars. Short walk Liverpool one. Lovely Hotel warm welcoming staff. Very tidy very clean comfortable and relax stay. Breakfast was lovely plenty of time to eat (7.30am 10.30 am) Beautiful Building with a modern twist with keeping in with the History of the building. We stayed in room 308 very specious on front side of Hotel. Occasionally some noise from Street outside but nothing disturb your stay. 100% recommend this Hotel.

My room was spacious and, modern with ample storage space. The available lighting options very good indeed.Loved the shower room, which had a good shower and plenty of hot water. The whole place was very clean. The staff were exceptional, helpful, and warm, without being over the top. This hotel is undergoing refurbishment, I was in an updated room. There is a wonderful staircase, grandeur from another era. The restaurant is also beautiful. Location good, about a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street.I am a sole traveller and felt very safe in this hotel. I was able to leave my luggage, before check in. I recommend this hotel.

This of course is personal to me, but the lift was too small and a bit rattly. However I was able to use the stairs. It wasn't possible to eat there in the evenings, well not the nights I was there. The stair carpet needs a refurb, but I expect this is coming
