This was a very handy hotel for the motorway and it was easy to find. The staff were really friendly and helpful and able to answer any questions we had. It was great that it was dog friendly as we were travelling home from holiday with our dog. We had breakfast and thought it was adequate and good value for money. We would use the hotel again if we needed too.

The extractor fan in the bathroom wasn't working but we reported this to the staff.

Very clean and spacious family room - large king size bed, sofa bed and pull out single bed (on castors). Comfy beds and nice bed linen. Good bathroom and shower. Handy having the service station facilities on site. Quiet room despite being close to motorway. AC. Tea and coffee making in room. Very pet friendly. Easy car parking next to hotel along with plenty electric charging points if needed for your car overnight.

Hotel was all good. Only downside is food options for dinner if you arrive late. The hotel had pizza available in the hotel but if you don't like or eat pizza - it was the motorway service station which had McDonalds and Leon, but Leon closed at 8pm along with Costa Coffee. There is a SPAR shop but this had limited dinner options so sandwiches etc..

Great location, fantastic size room for family, lovely little seating area at check in with wooden games so children could play while sorting the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Modern and clean reception area. Good amenities in service station for anything you need.

At a first glance the room seemed clean, however the floor had not even been swept there were a lot of crumbs and dust. All other surfaces seemed clean though. The bathroom also not the best for cleanliness, hair in the sink and on the side of bath. It was a great place to stay and especially for the price so it’s a shame a quick hoover and mop would have made this review perfect. Just meant keeping our shoes on in the room and not letting the children play on the floor

Easy to find (on the motorway service station). Plenty of (free) parking. Friendly staff. It was a very busy day and the hotel was pretty full and the adjacent motorway services were busy. We had a room at the front (I would have preferred to have been on the quieter (?) rear of the hotel, although it was not a problem.) The widows are well sound insulated but I wouldn't have wanted to open them. The hotel has made an effort to style it with a prominent Chester based theme with large stylish photos in the rooms and corridors. The room was spacious with a large comfortable bed. Large TV and good free WiFi. Excellent value for money.

I wasn’t expecting much from a hotel at a service station, but this place truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome – they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spotlessly clean, and you could tell great care is taken to maintain the highest standards. The attention to detail was impressive – fresh linens, pristine bathroom, and not a speck of dust in sight. It felt more like a boutique hotel than a stopover at a service station. The staff really set this hotel apart. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything I needed. Whether it was a local recommendation or an extra pillow, nothing was too much trouble. For anyone passing through and in need of a restful night, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. A true hidden gem that offers far more than expected. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Nothing, excellent hotel

I booked this hotel without really looking into it as I was just looking for somewhere cheap to rest our heads, whilst on a activity filled family weekend away. I was a little bit worried when we pulled up to a service station thinking oh it’s going to be run down and dirty. How wrong was I! This was probably the cleanest hotel I’ve been in and I’ve stayed in some expensive hotels! The staff were really friendly, beds very comfy and felt clean, modern feel to the place and was pleasantly surprised that there was a separate bedroom for my 3 year old. Excellent value for money!

It was amazing…the family room set up was superb. Best concept for this. The decor, room furniture, multiple tvs (not that we put them on), separate air con etc was amazing and so much space. Spilled something on the floor and wiped it off and not a speck of dirt so clean (cleaning staff amazing). Beds were b comfy and extra pillows and nice linens….lots of towels too. Got shown the apartment which also looks amazing. Staff were lovely too. And finally we were first to try online check in and OpenKey app which was brilliant …key in my phone no faffing with a little card or hunting for it in your bag!!

Hard to pick something but one tiny gripe would be grips on bath…they need to be a few further along to help with getting out to avoid it being slippy.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel! We saw that the photos were nice upon booking but we didn’t expect it to be as nice as the photos! Everything was spotless, felt brand new in our room 27! The receptionist was more than welcoming upon arrival and the same upon leaving. The pillows weren’t the best comfort but we still managed to sleep well as we’d had a long travel. The overall hotel looks spotless! We didn’t try to food but prices seemed reasonable. Convenient having the shops next door in the services such as McDonald’s, Costa and WHSmith. Perfect bathroom, very spacious and plenty of places to unpack our clothing into. Comfortable bed.

Ideal location for a stop off when travelling from Somerset to Scotland. Room was basic but comfortable and spacious enough to fit a family of 4 and a little sausage dog (great that dogs are welcome too). All slept really well. Despite being at a service station we weren't bothered by traffic noise at all. Facilities next door at the Road Chef were suitably varied offering all we needed for an overnight stay. Very good value for money. Exceeded our expectations for a basic overnight stay as part of a monster road trip. Felt comfortable that car was safe and secure in the car park overnight. We had bikes on the back of the car but there are plenty of cameras and there are patrols through the night.

Very easily accessible from the motorway, good base for visiting lots of places with only a short drive ie Cheshire Oaks, Chester Zoo, Chester city centre, Wrexham etc. very helpful staff, fresh breakfast available at a good price (or McDonalds just outside). Clean, well appointed room with a nice hot shower.

Our room was reasonably quiet on our side of the hotel however being situated in a 24hr service station with McDonald’s etc it was noisier on the other side and I imagine staying in a room by the car park may not be quiet.
