The place was very posh and the TV was absolutely humongous and was so cool having the stove fire figure it out how to like the fire as I'm a city boy so I didn't know how to do it I tried to give it a go and work sometimes everything you need in the kitchen bathroom bedroom a very nice place to stay very rural very peaceful Tim he was very nice always available was very kind it's got two lovely dogs pugs the gardens beautiful and well maintained wood always available good Wi-Fi signal hopefully at the back there again

Far from the madding crowd, the peace and quiet of the countryside was a joy. So far as the room was concerned, an electric blanket on the bed with individual controls was an unusual touch in a B&B. The heating in the room overall enabled the creation of a warm and cosy atmosphere during a relatively chilly October.

Wi-Fi was a little ‘hit and miss’. TV through a mirror in the Cholmondely room was somehat ‘idiosyncratic’, with Smart TV functions not being quite as ‘smart’ as they could have been, e.g. BBC iPlayer. These are just minor observances of modern facilities not quite dovetailing with rustic charms, otherwise all was good.

Our time here was brilliant. The owner was friendly and really helpful. The cottage was lovely and clean, and the grounds and views were beautiful. Was a pleasure to stay here.

The roomy property was well appointed and had a very comfortable bed and an excellent shower with fantastic water pressure! The host was very welcoming and was happy to accommodate a very early breakfast request.

There were a couple of issues with electronics (TV and WiFi not working) - they weren't a huge issue for me but might be for someone else. Limited milk for tea/coffee/hot chocolate making.

We don't know where to start on this one, as we liked everything about our experience at Egerton Manor Farm, from start to finish. Booking the B&B accommodation was easy; the price was fantastic (especially considering the exceptional quality of the facilities); it was in a stunning rural location yet still easy to find with the directions given; the warm, friendly welcome from our hosts, Tim & Ivoor, made us feel right at home and comfortable in asking for whatever we'd need; the room itself was incredibly clean, decorated tastefully with beautiful period furniture, with the added bonus of having its own little courtyard where we could relax outdoors; the breakfast was hearty and delicious with wonderful choices on offer; the grounds of the property were immaculate and left us feeling like we were walking through a little piece of history. As if all this was not enough, for us personally, the opportunity to meet the hosts' two adorable pugs, was just the icing on the cake!

There's absolutely nothing that we didn't like.

The location is very good if you want to drive around the Cheshire countryside and you are three mile away from one of the finest country pubs with excellent food , the Cholmondeley Inn. Very nice host and well made English breakfast.

The room was very warm.

The room was great, very comfortable. Everything worked well and we had a lovely little courtyard garden.

It was a shame not to have breakfast but we were thoroughly warned so it wasn't a problem.

We liked the comfortable bed, the peace and quiet, the hot shower and bath and the country location. The French windows to our own sitting out space was a bonus. The grounds are lovely.

Breakfast was not provided but the host notified us well in advance and gave us recommendations for where to get Breakfast close by.

Coffee in the room as there was only tea and hot chocolate
