The hotel is in a great location, just opposite the Brig train station. Perfect base to explore the region. The room was clean, spacious, with comfortable beds, electric kettle, fridge and even a fan for the warmer months. Heating was good, this is important as we visited in winter. Having a balcony with some views of the surrounding mountains was a big plus! Breakfast was simple yet provided a good start for the day. The staff, especially those at breakfast, are very welcoming. Overall, very good value for money!

Breakfast could be improved a bit by providing some variety. Especially some warm food options would be a big plus.

This hotel was extremely clean, comfortable, and convenient! This is our first time traveling to Switzerland visiting our daughter at the Caesar, Ritz school, and this hotel was perfect for what we needed. The owners are friendly, kind, courteous, and generous. Although this hotel may not look state-of-the-art from the outside, our room was extremely clean and comfortable with noticeably thoughtful touches throughout. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully designed with a clean, modern layout, and had absolutely everything we needed to make our visit enjoyable. And did I mention how clean it is? The bathroom and shower were absolutely immaculate, and the beds were sumptuously comfortable! The best part is the owners. We could feel their warmth, and as I slept there, I felt safe- like I was staying and someone’s home who cared about me!

I wouldn’t say there was anything that we didn’t like. As I said earlier, it may not look state of the art from the outside, but the hotel is extremely clean and cared for, and our room was modern, comfortable, and extremely clean!

We could arrive at Hotel Europe Brig before 21:00 when the reception closed, therefore we did not have to self-check in. Hotel is located right in front of Brig station (you can see the hotel from the station!) about 5 mins walk. When we arrived Brig it was raining so it was very helpful that the hotel was nearby the station. Room was clean, spacious and quiet as well as bed mattresses were very comfortable so we could sleep very well. In the room, a kettle was provided so that we could make hot drinks of our own tea bags(there were no cups nor tea bags/coffee sachets provided). Shower cubic was spacious with enough hot water and good water pressure, and squeezing shampoo bottle was easy to use. Supermarket was just around the corner of the hotel, so we could afford our breakfast and lunch package cheaply even in very expensive Switzerland!

Number of power sockets was limited. We had to disconnect fridge to use kettle. It would be even better with more power sockets (incl. USB power sockets) were provided.

We got exellent service. We came to Brig around nine o’clock in the morning, and hoped to have our luggage placed in a luggage room, rush to reach our train to Betten, take a long hike in the mountains, and check in for a shower and a good nights sleep. We communicated with the host about this before we arrived that morning, and when we arrived, we could get our room already! The check-in went fast, we placed the luggage in the room, and reached our train to Betten without running! The location of the hotel is perfect for that kind of plans, and the host’s flexibility was exellent. We enjoyed the room and a very good breakfast.

The hotel is quite close to the railway station, easy to reach on foot. It's also within walking distance of the center, where there are a few restaurants, bars etc and the castle. There are is also a supermarket nearby. The staff were very nice, after my friend inquired about a fridge, they actually brought a small one to our room, very appreciated.

The hotel shows its age quite a bit - the elevator for example, or the light switches, or some of the walls. Some refurbishments would help, I think.

Location is fantastic. Manager was very friendly and was happy to help us if we needed anything. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was great and included breakfast. Beds and pillows were perfect. Would highly recommend.

Only thing that could have been improved is the lighting Was ok when Sun came up. This seems to be the same in lots of the rooms in Europe so maybe it is a thing we are not used to in Australia.

First hotel on trip to rate all 10/10. Host stayed up for our arrival due to trains cancellation. Very informative staff and eager to help and share info. Has fast lift to floors The premises very close to train station but did not hear a thing as well soundproofed The inside was tastefully remodeled with lots of room and breakfast was great with lots of selection. Would recommend to stay there as excellent value.

There is nothing I did not like as first hotel to give 10/10

The breakfast was simple but good; there was a great choice of cereals/muesli, along with bread, cheeses and fruit. The room was a little on the small size, but I know thanks to my colleague in another room that the sizes are quite variable. The location was ideal for me. Very near the station, easy to walk into town.

The tap in the bathroom was leaky, and the bathroom was very small. The WiFi kept cutting out intermittently. However, for the price, these things were reasonable.

An okder hotel that had been nicely modernised. convenient for the station and the World Nature Forum where we had a reception. excellent breakfast included in the very reasonable price. Friendly and hepful staff. goid sized room and bathroom.

Nothing - we were fortunate in that we were able to park two cars in the limired parking space

The 5 of us were happy with our two rooms (they gave us upgrades) and our overnight in Brig. In Brig, check out the ancient houses on and around Judenstrasse on the way to see the Beinhaus ossuary that has 31,000 skulls (on Google maps it is "Beinhaus"). We had great food at Charisma Pizza and Kabob near the hotel. One pide with spinach and cheese and one Döner Dürüm with chicken were great and more than 3 adults could eat. The breakfast at the hotel was good.
