its what we were looking for for a family getaway to the Dunes - pool for kids, on site breakfast in the morning and a 2nd room for the kids,

the pull out bed did not have clean sheets or a blanket or pillows - we asked for clean sheets, pillows and a blanket and we got the sheets, but no pillows or blanket - it appeared that this was standard that they did not initially provide this with pull outs - we expect all to be in the room and no need to ask for - this was a big miss - we were also given 3 towels for 5 people and asked twice for a couple extras and did not receive - so being stingy with towels seems excessive.

I was paying for the room in cash. A credit card had to be run to secure the room and I was ok with that. Tey accepted my cash payment in the morning. I was told nothing would processed against my credit card. In addition to my cash payment, my credit card was also charged. This resulted in some severe problems for me.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful finding my misplaced booking and helping me park my RV so I didn't get blocked in. The room was quiet, the bed was comfy and I had a restful night.

Didn’t like how they charged my credit card. I used my credit card to hold three rooms for my family. My family paid for their rooms before leaving to go home. I paid for mine. I have pending charges on my credit card for the two family members as well as mine. They paid for their rooms but I still have charges on my card for their rooms. This isn’t right !! I better not have to pay for their rooms as they have already paid for them ! I’m so disappointed in Fairfield Inn , Merrillville, Indiana !!!!!

Staff was very good and friendly. Bathroom small. Older hortel updated nicely,. I liked the lobby 50s vibe

The room was very nice there was enough space for everyone. It was quiet and there was no noise from other guest. It was located close to good food and easy access to the interstate.

The suite was big and spacious. Had 2 tv, sink and a pull out couch bed.

Walls are thin!! There were some lights that didn’t work in the room. I like my room cold and the comforter just didn’t meet my expectations.

The staff was extraordinary. From the front desk staff, to the maintenance people, everyone was very polite and accommodating. I would rank the person ability of the staff to that of Chic fil a or Publix. .

The breakfast did leave something to be desired, but the staff made up for it in spades

The hotel was clean, quite and the price was good. I would stay there again.

The breakfast was a different story. The eggs and sausage was cold. The lady who does the breakfast was not very friendly.

The front desk staff was phenomenal. I double booked multiple rooms and the representative patiancetenly assisted with rectifying matter. The attendant was even kind enough to allow me to borrow a charger since it was already extremely late and I did not have a personal mode of transportation. My stay was between 6/12-6/13, her name was Christina.
