Shout out to the federation parkes motel. Fantastic dog friendly room Little Moss had a ball, back yard was nice for raining mornings and the giant park across the road is great to explore and to free the built up energy.. To my surprise the location of the motel was quiet even with the train station close.. Close to town 18mins walk to Cooke park and service man’s club, Room was nice, size was good for “little moss” create and for us with out tripping over each other.. Has a nice size fridge with ice trays filled for your arrival, I would highly recommend. Parkes federation motel in welcome st Parkes nsw..

I was unable to check in and the staff TXT me checked me in and turned on the heating to ensure we were comfortable when we got there as it was 1 degree in Parkes at the time. The Staff did everything to make it easy and welcoming for my stay. the room and bed were very comfortable and the shower size was exceptional. The water pressure was brilliant with plenty of hot water.

We were attending a hockey championship which was happening across the road, so location was 5 star.

The property is a bit dated. We were given plates and cutlery but had to wash up in the bathroom sink, which wasn’t great.

Clean, well appointed, comfortable, exactly what a motel should be. The room had everything needed and great. After travelling for 2 weeks in various motels this one really stood out as value for money.

Good location. Surprisingly quiet even though it is right near the highway. Friendly reception when we arrived. It was a very small room but they have made it look nice with crisp white sheets and decorative touches. It was cosy and comfortable. Very close to shops, restaurants and supermarkets. There is a microwave in the room, and also plates, dishes and cutlery.

The shower is installed at a bit of a funny angle and the water pressure was a little low, but my initial concern about this was soon allayed - it was fine. The bathroom is extremely small, but for one night it was quite OK.

Having green space out the back for our dog was great. Nice quiet room. Comfortable bed, omg, the bed was great.

Room is getting a bit dated and old. Shower was ok but not wonderful.

Tahlee was the best attendant we have ever had and we have been in many motels across Australia highly recommend the parkes federation especially if you are travelling with pets the cleanliness was exceptional much thanks for making our trip enjoyable jeanine

Fast trip requires quick on and off highway, great location great parking for trailer. Able to have our furry family members with us.

No one on site. But staff were responsive to messages and calls.

Within walking distance to centre of town. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Easy check in, very clean pool. Rooms were very clean. Quiet location but just off highway, walking distance to train station
