I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel and I can’t say enough good things about it. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spotless and well-maintained, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel’s location is perfect, situated in the heart of an amazing city with easy access to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops. With a less than one-hour distance to Florence, Lucca, or Viareggio by train, Montecatini Terme has become my new favorite place in Tuscany. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay with outstanding service. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!

Very nice hotel BUT please put a sign beside the entrance so people know where the door is situated. The granddaughter of Rocco Forte, Alex Polizzi, has a TV programme and she always complains about certain hotels that don't have an easily spotted FRONT door. It confuses customers, as it did with me and two other travellers recently. Otherwise, everything was lovely.

It would be much better to stock up on liquid soap/shampoo products. Fix them at the sink and in the shower so you could easily refill as required. There are too much plastic in hotel bathrooms. Apart from that everything was fine.

Great hotel for an astonishingly low price. Parts of the installations look a bit retro, but everything is in excellent condition, very clean and tidy. The staff were exceptional. The location is very convenient. The air conditioning worked extremely well.

It was hard to find the entrance door. The content of the shampoo sachets is laughable. At first, I thought they were empty of how little shampoo they had. My room was a bit noisy at night due to a nearby air conditioning unit.

We had a really nice welcome from the owner on arrival. The room was well decorated and in extremely clean condition although perhaps a little small by modern standards, it was very comfortable and had air conditioning. We found the twin beds very comfortable. The hotel itself is family owned and is a beautiful older building with traditional Italian architecture. There is no catering available but this was absolutely fine as there are really good cafes and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. We hope to return to the area again and would have no hesitation in staying in this hotel again. Obviously all reviews are personal but we loved it here.

Nothing to dislike

The reception staff were extremely welcoming, warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful, full of Tuscan charm. The room was simple and spotlessly clean and we appreciated the fridge in the room. The small courtyard area at the back was a pleasant surprise. I would certainly return to this hotel if ever back in the area.

The shower was small, but it is an old building. We would have enjoyed having a kettle in the room.

The location was excellent, right in the heart of Montecatini, a short walk to all amenities, cafes, restaurants. The hosts, Giacomo & Lucca were so lovely, they could not have been more helpful, they made our stay in Montecatini so enjoyable & memorable.

We loved our entire stay at Hotel Savoia e Campana. It was exactly what we wanted. The hotel owners, Giacomo & Lucca are outstanding hosts, so welcoming, so helpful & just lovely people. It would have been great if breakfast and/or coffee/tea facilities were available but that would not deter us from staying here again or recommending it to friends & family. There is nothing we didn’t like about our stay at Hotel Savoia e Campana!

The hotel is well located in a quiet street just a few metres from the city centre. It is a basic hotel which was the type that we were looking for. The staff were always very friendly greeting you as you arrived and left the hotel. The room was a good size with enough storage for a weeks stay. There were no problems with any of the facilities on offer.

It was a basic but comfortable hotel as we anticipated, but perhaps some tea or coffee making facilities in the room would have made a siesta more enjoyable!

I liked the hotel, owners, location, rooms. Breakfast tomorrow morning was excellent quality for money. Rooms are air conditioned constantly so the room temperature are always optimal. Beds are very comfortable and spacious

Floorboard is creaking when you walk over it and it is a little bit tricky to connect on the hotel's Wi-Fi

Lovely old school hotel that has retained its original charm, only to be matched by the charming welcome from Luca and Giacomo. They looked after me very well and made my stay so pleasant and relaxing ....Hotel in a great location for access to the station and the park

The reception staff were wonderful. They were so kind and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Montercatini is very nice and well positioned for cheap train trips to Florence, Lucca and Pistoia.
